I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS on unsolved mysteries they had said that was at rehab but left 2 days after he came home and saw his daughter MALE NANNY .he loved his daughter he would have went to her.who paid air fare??? courtney canceled one credit card so they could track him he had other cards on him why keep trying to use it when it was denied ?there was a second note she kept telling no one stating HE was divorcing her not commit suicide he was leaving the band not life, and many more things
this pisses me of. there is enough evidence already to bring tht bitch in to court. i hate corrupt dudes like this. tom grant: DO SOMETHING U FUCKING IDIOT!!!
To see Kurt's murderer brought to justice would be one of the best things I could witness in my lifetime. If the case would get re-opened, you would see a flood of people becoming interested in him once again.
Tom Grant is travelling the USA to work on three new projects. I am 99% positive that it is related to the cobain case. I am a friend of his and he is being very secretive about the whole thing. I am wondering if anyone is interested. Do people still care about Kurt Cobain? If there are anyone involved with the media, please get in touch with him . I want to know what's going on!
@Hotice770 I don't agree, Tom was employed by the Cobain family at the time of Kurts death. In his mind a man died on his watch and something was suspect about it. I doubt he would forget about those events, regardless of who the man was.. besides, he has lost more than he has gained while persuing this.
@claudiachaos1 His only job? Probably no one hires him after that? You may not like the job he did, but Courtney herself said Tom was the best she knew, AND she kept on doing other jobs for months! You won't find anyone who knows Tom Grant professionally who has anything bad to say about the man. If you could, that information would have been exploited by CL and her people over the years since he decided to come out and tell what he believes is the truth.
@GoddessFourWinds Of course Courtney liked the fool that allowed her to get away with murder, who do you really care about here? This fat ass exploiting Kurts death? The whore that killed him? Or do YOU actually care about KURT? The only person needs defending is he who can no longer defend himself, Kurt. It would be great if his mother were the one carrying this charge for justice or his daughter, band-mates, anyone who knew and cared about the truth, And do not need to exploit kurt to do it!
@claudiachaos1 Tom Grant believes a man was murdered, and he has never let this issue rest. He has continued to pursue this on his own time and money. Believe what you want about him, but I'm glad someone has had the balls to stand up to CL and her threats (to have his license removed).
@GoddessFourWinds Yes, thanx for your permission, I will. I only expressed my opinion from the beginning. Try defending Kurt instead of this fat ass who is exploiting Kurt and ALL of you...it is sad. You can take down my comments if you want to, I thought I was free to express myself here, that we all are. I guess you are the queen and censor here...Maybe you have more in common w/ Courtney than you realize. Best Wishes;) Claudia (Keep hope for justice for Kurt).
@claudiachaos1 lol! It wasn't your comment I was deleting. :) It was late, and I was confused (which is very common for me). Of course, I want justice for Kurt. I don't know anyone else who wants that as much as TG. He's the only person who keeps plugging away at this, year after year. Without his information, there is much we wouldn't know. If you've watched Seg 3, you know he's never taken money for any speaking engagement, for his time, until recently. :)
@claudiachaos1 You can find free copies of the case manual online. If you order it, you also get the CD that was made to accompany it. TG produced the materials out of own pocket.
@claudiachaos1 he takes donations so he can keep investigating not so hecan go buy new shoes! he has been using money out of his pocket and almost went broke because of it...dont diss him for needing help to continue for us and for Kurt, atleast he fucking cares..
I am sorry , but that stupid song sux! And Kurt would hate that, yes, even if he was murdered...I would love for her too pay also, and isn't she? She has nothing and her daughter has a restraining order on her...people pay for there actions one way or another! I hope someone less self serving comes forward with real prof that reveilles the truth.
@claudiachaos1 You would say the same thing about anyone who would do what Tom Grant has done. The man is a professional. He has risked his reputation and career to share this information, and he stands by his word. Whatever.
@GoddessFourWinds You are referring to his reputation? He couldn't even look over the entire grounds while at the Cobain house? Was this not his job? Did he ask the person he was with if there were any other buildings on the property where Kurt may have been searched for? NO. He called out, looked around and got out. Great reputation. Great P.I., come on Kurt deserved more than this. Better.
@claudiachaos1 When TG asked Dylan about the greenhouse, Dylan said it was just a dirty little room. Why? I don't know. And TG was not the only person checking the property. There were plenty of cops around, doing the same, working on the missing person case. And don't forget that Courtney was sending TG on merry goose chases to places where Kurt was not, including hotels and the Carnation property to build the story SHE wanted him to believe. Now factor in the weather.
@claudiachaos1 Tom Grant has an amazing reputation, and his police department will vouch for that. On the night he was taken to look for Kurt (in his house) it was a stormy & rainy night-There also happened to be a security light right outside the greenhouse, so when Tom & Cali's movement set the light off, you couldn't actually see that there was any type of room there-THAT'S WIDELY KNOWN. At that time Tom thought he was looking for Kurt-NOT KURTS DEAD BODY>>
@claudiachaos1 If Tom Grant was doing this for money, or fame, I'd be extremely shocked. He's turned down ALL interviews, book deals, movie proposals etc, and they would have made him a LOT of money-He'd be a very rich man indeed. Tom had to accept money eventually, for copies of his case notes, as Courtney took him to court over something else, and that almost finished him financially... If what he's saying isn't right, then Courtney would have sued by now, but she hasn't... That says it all!
@TestMeatDollSteak I don't know-You'd have to ask him that. If he had done this for money, he'd have taken all the huge cash offers to do interviews etc, and he's always turned them down-He's doing this for JUSTICE, not money. He did have to accept $18 for copies of his case notes, because Courtney had taken him to court & cleaned him out. If none of this was true, why has Courtney taken him to court yet??!!!
@deadgirl82 I don't know, you'd have to ask Courtney that. There are points to be made and reasons for doubt on both sides of the debate. If Grant were really sooo confident that he has "smoking gun" evidence of foul play, then why has he kept it to himself for the last 17 years? He's been re-hashing the same "evidence" for years, and the case remains closed. And why is there so little support for Grant in the Cobain/Nirvana camp, when many of these people do NOT like Courtney Love?
@TestMeatDollSteak Tom Grant has never said that he has a "smoking gun",or anything to that effect. Grant has made it very clear that he has unseen (by every1 except him obv) evidence, and has not been able to produce it because of it's nature. He also says that he NEEDS the SPD to re-open the case as he cannot bring the murder/murderers to trail alone. You should really read "Love & Death"-It goes through a ton of stuff which u wont have known b4,but explains this perfectly x
@deadgirl82 I've read Love&Death :) Grant maintains that he has evidence that would tie Courtney to Kurt's death unequivocally, which makes it "smoking gun" evidence. He also maintains that he won't hand said evidence over to authorities unless the case is reopened - kind of a catch 22 for him. I simply doubt that Grant really has the kind of evidence that he's been promising, but we shall see. His book is supposed to contain "over 90% new information" about the Cobain case...
@TestMeatDollSteak I think the main reason he won't hand it over is because the SPD are so corrupt-evidence has a habit of "disappearing". If the case is re-opened, properly, then he can hand it over... Whatever this evidence is, there must be a way of clearing the tracks-He stated that in the book, so it's another reason not to hand it over until an official investigation is under way...
@deadgirl82 Right, that's Grant's logic alright. As it stands, Grant's "evidence" has been public for over 17 years now, and on top of that there are Halperin's 2 books on the subject. Still no re-investigation. Grant needs to shit or get off the pot, in my opinion. It's obvious that re-hashing this same cobaincase website stuff isn't going to force a reopening of Cobain's case. If he has something more solid, then he should produce it. Otherwise, leave Cobain's memory in peace.
@TestMeatDollSteak I personally think that he's waiting until all the cops involved have left, retired,or in some cases-Died..As im sure you already know-Courtney had/has close personal links to many of the officials involved-Conflict of interest much??My personal opinion on the entire thing is that Kurt def didn't kill himself. The more I researched the case & facts, too many things just didn't add up, and the entire thing stank! If Kurt didn't die, would Courtney be as famous?? Not a chance!
@deadgirl82 Maybe* Grant is "waiting" for that day, but consider the fact that the lead detective in Cobain's case retired YEARS ago...I'd be willing to bet that a number of the officers who initially investigated Kurt's death have moved on since 1994. Ultimately, I'd like 2 see the case re-investigated, but my opinion, after reading everything available, is that Cobain killed himself. Every piece of "evidence" Grant has offered has a logical explanation consistent w/ suicide..
@TestMeatDollSteak This has NOTHING to do with what we are talking about, but I just wanted to let you know how amazing it's been to talk to someone on here, with a different opinion to mine, that hasn't boiled down to name calling & all that other juvenile bullshit. It's extremely refreshing!!! Im guessing that you are over 20?? Lol. Anyway-Thanks for not being a complete dick ;) xxx
@deadgirl82 Aaawww, you so sweet! ;) Yep, 20 was over a decade ago, haha ;) Many of the "fans" out there are 100% convinced one way or the other (suicide or murder), and aren't willing to admit that there's a lot of room for debate on BOTH sides of the issue. None of the people commenting on these videos (myself included) has all the answers. I think it's important to question everything and do your best to separate the fact from the fiction ;) Thx 4 being a sweetheart! :)
@TestMeatDollSteak Lol-Yup,20 was almost a decade ago for me too-Im 29 ;) It really pisses me off when these 14year olds start running their mouth because your opinion is different from theirs-Hell,they're too young to even remember Nirvana!Even at 29 I was only a kid listening to them, mainly because my older brother had their albums ;) You're right-The whole debate goes both ways, but I personally feel that he was murdered, and it's not because I dont wanna imagine that he could kill himself...
@deadgirl82 Haha, I'm older than you ;) I was 13 in 1991 when Nevermind blew up, and I've been a Nirvana fan ever since :) This particular subject is a pretty hot button issue in the fan base - a lot of people feel very strongly that they know the "real story" and are too emotionally vested in their positions to rationally debate the actual evidence. I personally think Cobain killed himself, and it's not for lack of researching the evidence, nor am I a fan of Courtney Love's...
@deadgirl82 Haha, you think she had Cobain killed, but you still dig her music?? There's a certain irony in that ;) I haven't liked a Hole song since the Live Through This album, and I'm of the opinion that Kurt had more than a passing influence on the songwriting there. I think Courtney Love is a manipulative, lying drama queen and fame whore, but that doesn't necessarily make her a murderer.
I'm a California boy currently living in Austin, TX - you?? ;)
@TestMeatDollSteak I agree with your view on CL, but she is a talented lyricist-That cannot be denied. I hate the fact that because she was married to KC everyone seems to think he had a hand in her work, yet no1 ever seems to say that maybe she had a hand in HIS! Hole's 1st 2 albums were great & Nobody's Daughter is def a return to top form. Her writing suffered because of all the drugs she was on, but she was already making waves for critics BEFORE she'd even met Kurt.
@deadgirl82 I have Pretty On The Inside, Live Through This, and the "My Body, The Hand Grenade" singles/b-side/outtake collection. I don't deny that Love wrote the lyrics for Hole's stuff - but Courtney clearly went for "Nevermind" type songwriting with "Live Through This" - hell, the main riff to "Plump" is even the exact same chords as Nirvana's "Breed". Everyone's got their own tastes, but I don't think Love has written anything decent since her time w/ Cobain. Don't hate me! ;)
@TestMeatDollSteak Of course I wont!!! Lol! Courtney has never written the actual music to ANY of Holes stuff-She writes the lyrics & kinda plays along too... She has never claimed that she had anything to do with the writing of any of the actual music... So, if the music on LTT was similar to Nirvana's, then you really need to point the finger at the band, and not her...
@deadgirl82 Haha, I'm only suggesting that *perhaps* Cobain showed her (and possibly Eric Erlandson) some riffs here and there, and that he *maybe* helped with the vocal melodies on that record (Live Through This), too. It's just too coincidental that LTT - written largely while Courtney was married to Kurt - sounds soooo much like a Nirvana record, when Pretty On The Inside was so far removed from that kind of pop/verse/chorus/verse type sound.
@deadgirl82 True, and Nirvana fully admitted that it was a Pixies rip off, with a Boston-esque guitar riff. Nirvana at least had a progression that could be traced through their records of melodic/pop type songs with heavy riffs, whereas Hole did a 180 after Courtney got with Kurt...
@TestMeatDollSteak I'm a Northern Irish chick!!! Born & Bred in Belfast-Def a long, long way away from the life that you know ;) How come you moved to Texas?? Been there long?
@deadgirl82 The internet is crazy shit!! I've never even been outside of the US - all I know of Ireland comes from TV and movies (most likely terribly inaccurate) ;) Belfast's Wikipedia page shows it to be rather green and beautiful :) I'll bet the bar scene out there is fuckin' nuts! You Irish certainly have a reputation to live up to ;) I moved to TX for a fresh start, plus I have some family out here :) Been here 6 months. The economy is tough right now... :(
@TestMeatDollSteak The punk/hardcore scene here is at an all-time high, and we have some amazing bars, clubs & promoters keeping it alive! Our scene is like a family-everyone knows everyone else & there's nowhere else like that right now in the UK. We have some amazing bands coming out of Belfast too-By Any Means are a killer hardcore band, making serious noise throughout the music industry. If you ever have the chance, you should def come visit-I'll show ya what Belfast is all about!!! ;)
@deadgirl82 You sound like you like to go out and see what's up with your local music scene, deadgirl! :) Cool shit! ;) I think Austin used to be more like that in the 80's and 90's - it's still got a lotta local shit happening and a bunch of big music festivals, but I don't think it's as happening as it used to be. I extend the same invitation to you, should you ever find yourself stateside in TX :)
@TestMeatDollSteak He wasn't suicidal though..How could he have shot himself with that HUGE dose of heroin inside of him?The note was a retirement letter-He was leaving Nirvana-The supposed "suicide" lines were added AFTER & were NOT his handwriting. Why did Rosemary Carroll find a practice paper in Courtney's bag? She'd been practicing Kurts writing.Courtney called the cops on herself to get an alibi-Why?Rome was only declared a suicide bid AFTER Kurt's death,by Courtney...Too much says "murder"
@deadgirl82 Only Kurt would know if he were suicidal or not, it isn't uncommon for next of kin to be shocked/dismayed by a loved one's suicide. Hartshorne diagnosed a condition called cadaveric spasm in Cobain's left hand around the gun barrel - it's forensic evidence he was alive and tightly gripping the gun when he died. I completely disagree w/ the "retirement letter" theory - the note is self damning, filled w/ guilt, and mentions no future plans...
@TestMeatDollSteak Cadaveric spasm was present, yes, but all that means is that Kurt was holding the gun when it went off. If he was in a drug induced coma, his killer could have easily placed the gun in his hands, pointed it, and pulled the trigger. Why were there no finger prints, on the gun, pen, paper-There were no fingers prints ANYWHERE in that room-Why? Kurt couldn't have done ANYTHING once he'd taken that shot-he would have went straight into a coma...The note had been written by Kurt>>
@deadgirl82 Cadaveric spasm happens at the point of death, and occurs from ATP depletion in muscles (usually the hands) that are contracted in the victim's last act of life. The muscles in Cobain's hand had to be *flexed* before he died, not simply held in place while unconscious. There WERE fingerprints in the room - the cops lifted 6 cards of latent prints from the gun, shells, pen and note. The cops also HANDLED everything BEFORE they checked for prints - IMO the cops ruined them.
@TestMeatDollSteak I fully understand that fact, but if his hands were placed on the gun, as if he were holding it himself, that would still allow the spasm-It doesn't mean that he pulled the trigger-It means that his hands were placed in the right place. Get me??
@deadgirl82 All of the literature that I've read on cadaveric spasm attests to the fact that it occurs in muscles that are contracted/flexed at the time of death, generally during some emotional or physical struggle. If Cobain were unconscious and his hand simply held in place, then the muscles in his hand would still be relaxed, and not contracted - see what I'm sayin'?
@TestMeatDollSteak Yes, I do, but being that his body has been there for a day or so, rigor mortis would have set in, so the same conclusion would have been drawn...
@deadgirl82 From Forensic Pathology Online, by Dr. Dinesh Rao, on cadaveric spasm:
"This condition is of great medico-legal importance. Occasionally, in case of suicide, the weapon (e.g. pistol or knife) is seen firmly grasped in the victim's hand, which is a strong presumptive evidence of suicide. Attempts may be made to simulate this condition in order to conceal a murder, but ordinary rigor does NOT produce the same firm grip of a weapon..."
@TestMeatDollSteak Lol-great minds.. I just inbox'd you my details, just before you sent that message ;) I've gotta run here right now-Going for Sunday dinner at the 'rents. I'll get back to you either later, or tomorrow ;)
@TestMeatDollSteak (2)but the last 4 lines had been written by someone else-That has been proven. The last 4 lines were in the same style as Kurts writing, but he did not write them-Fact. I completely understand the whole "not wanting to believe that he'd killed himself"-My cousin killed himself (8 years ago on Feb 12th), so I know what it's like to go through, and this has nothing like that. This case just screams "wrong". For all we know Rome was the first attempt to take Kurts life.
@deadgirl82 I beg to differ - it has NEVER been proved that Kurt Cobain is not the author of the entire note. Certain analysts have pointed to "more than a dozen differences" between the last 4 lines and main body, but those analysts ultimately were "unable to make a firm pronouncement" due to the fact that they had very poor photocopies of the note to examine. Only the Wash St Patrol's Janis Parker has analyzed the handwritten note, and she determined it to be 100% Cobain's writing.
@TestMeatDollSteak It was his writing, but that note wasn't written out at the same time. That note was a retirement letter, and the parts that were added could have easily been traced using samples of other writing he had done.
@deadgirl82 OR Kurt could have simply added the last lines himself while under the influence of dope, which also offers a logical explanation for the apparent shift in style and tone. The *handwritten* note would need to be examined again, the opinions on the photocopies are all inconclusive and therefore don't cut it. And I still simply greatly disagree with the "retirement letter" interpretation of Cobain's suicide note.
@TestMeatDollSteak Yeah-I thought that too-but when he shot up he would have gone into a coma, so how could he write any extra lines?? People say his tolerance would have been high as a junkie, but he'd just got out of rehab-any tolerance he might have had would have been shot to shit by then...
@deadgirl82 Cobain could have been alone in that greenhouse for many hours - writing, chain smoking, shooting up, nodding off, repeating the process - before finally killing himself. Cobain was in rehab for all of two days before he jumped ship - I wouldn't really think that's enough time for his tolerance to be shot to shit...
@TestMeatDollSteak I don't mean this to sound rude, or anything like that, but unless you've shot heroin you really can't say... The levels in his system were 3 times the lethal dose to a heroin addict... No one has ever lived after having even a fraction of that dose...
@deadgirl82 That's true, too. I'm not claiming to have personal experience shooting dope. I've met junkies and ex-junkies, however, who *swear* that a 225 mg dose is absolutely nothing. I almost wish some junkie would just take it upon themselves to be a human guinea pig and prove Tom Grant wrong...
@TestMeatDollSteak But that's the thing-It wouldn't be proving Grant wrong, it would be proving doctors, who specialize in substance abuse wrong... Not to mention the hundreds of cases that were looked at & compared to the Cobain case. There isn't one single case of any addict ever surviving the same dose as Kurt-NOT ONE. I think that speaks volumes...
@deadgirl82 That's cool, doctors can be (and often times are) wrong, too. The presence of instantaneous rigor in Kurt's left hand would seem to offer forensic evidence that Cobain was in control of his faculties enough to be tightly gripping the shotgun barrel at the exact moment he died. Are there other recorded examples of cadaveric spasm of this nature occurring in a victim thought to be in a coma at the time of death?
@deadgirl82 Hi, one thing that kills me is everyone is so quick to say 225mg of heroin will kill you and leave one crucial thing out of the equation... the potency of the dope for instance you have a migraine headache you take two Tylenol because your certain two Tylenol is almost always enough, you buy street drugs throw consistency out the window.
@deadgirl82 You mean shot him up twice? sure I believe it's possible but, the amount of heroin people are claiming was in his system was more than enough to manipulate him to the point of getting a shotgun in his mouth. so why kill a dead man twice?
@motocarnage615 No-I mean he might have thought it was not as strong as it actually was-He could have been given a pure dose. The strength was proven by his blood morphine level. Kurt had been in rehab prior to his death, so any tolerance he may have built up would have been gone by that stage. Have you actually read the case notes etc?
@deadgirl82 Yes I have read the case documents I used to swear by them too, nowhere on Cobain case or justice for Kurt does it say anywhere how potent the heroin was... again it just states he took a wad way to fast based on his blood work apparently medical examiners aren't afraid to challenge this. Kurt had just survived a massive, massive rohypnol and champagne induced coma only to come home and get high before leaving for rehab for all of two days. Have you actually read the case notes?
@motocarnage615 Yes I have & ive done a ton of research myself too. They have told us how potent it was many times-It's in the blood/morphine level & there could tell it was in one dose due to the point of entry! I firmly believe that Kurt was murdered, and im not going off of all of the case files-Im going off those as well as my own research into the relevant fields. If u go back through all the comments on this video, u will see what ive written previously ;) x
@deadgirl82 Please go to justice for Kurt find the dead men don't pull triggers rebuttal, skip to compensation for adulteration... if you can cite anything else on record claiming his hit was in between 1% and 93% purity (given dilution) as well as the several cutting agents used let me know.
@motocarnage615 I'd like to suggest that you research yourself-Read medical reports, case notes, and also look into similar cases. Do not go off of "Kurt Cobain" related sites alone, because they're always going to be bias, one way or another ;) x
@deadgirl82 For all we know, Rome *could* have been Kurt's first attempt on his own life, OR it *could* have simply been an accident, as Kurt himself claimed that it was before his death. I've never experienced the loss of a close friend/family member, so I won't pretend to fully understand what you and your family have gone through, but I'm sure that it's been difficult and painful, to say the least... :(
@deadgirl82 (cont)...beyond that, the handwritten note was forensically determined to be written by Cobain - every word. All the other analysts have gone off 2nd generation photocopies of the note that Grant made, and as such have come to inconclusive verdicts. IMO Kurt *could* have added the last lines himself while high. The "practice sheet" was never analyzed nor shown to be an attempt to copy anyone's handwriting. I see no proof of murder...
Tom says Kurt was found clean, hair washed, and looked unlike how he was described in the press, ie, 'grungy'. He looked great when found! The electrician who found him said the same thing. That is another key element. The clues are all there for murder.
Personally I do think he was a victim of foul play i.e. murdered. I can understand how being a junkie can make someone want to die. I've seen it. But Kurt, while an addict, wasn't so far off. Besides, 3 times the amount of a lethal dosage of heroin in his blood would have killed him instantly as is. He wouldn't be able to pick up a gun.
And call me an idealist but if I know one thing, its that Kurt Cobain loved his daughter. He wouldn't have left her. Or maybe I'm full of shit and totally wrong.
I have researched this case at an amateur level for almost 10 years. I had in that period changed my theories and opinions more than a couple times. What I do know is this. There are two sides. I have seen the dark path of the same drugs Kurt ecame a slave too. I feel that he very well may have just because he couldn't cope with the dual pain of opiate addiction/depression (bipolar possible) and just made a decision to make it easier for everyone involved. I think he probably did do it.
the real problem with Americans is that they see a depressed heroin addict under extreme pressure, turmoil and physical pain, who admits in several songs that he wanted to kill himself... yet, the Americans want to blame it on the government. The sooner the real issues are addressed, the sooner the US can recover.
I do agree the whole thing should be reopened. I am so interested to see what really happened. But, I think he could have done it, and yes, I have read ALL the books that I am aware of about the theories of his murder and just bios and interviews. I know from personal experience that depression and opiate addiction are big factors that can contribute to killing one self. Either way, he;s gone. I just want justice if he was indeed killed. He seemed like such a genuine, caring person. Miss him
O.k., I'm onboard to watch this thing. But this segment was at least 50% filler and B.S., especially that awful fucking song. Yecch.

@GoddessFourWinds uuuuuuuuummm, It is free to put on his website, if he wasn't making money off of Kurts death..

I hope someone less self serving comes forward with real prof that reveilles the truth.
claudiachaos1 10 months ago 7
@claudiachaos1 You would say the same thing about anyone who would do what Tom Grant has done. The man is a professional. He has risked his reputation and career to share this information, and he stands by his word. Whatever.
GoddessFourWinds 10 months ago
@GoddessFourWinds You are referring to his reputation? He couldn't even look over the entire grounds while at the Cobain house? Was this not his job? Did he ask the person he was with if there were any other buildings on the property where Kurt may have been searched for? NO. He called out, looked around and got out. Great reputation. Great P.I., come on Kurt deserved more than this. Better.
claudiachaos1 10 months ago
@claudiachaos1 When TG asked Dylan about the greenhouse, Dylan said it was just a dirty little room. Why? I don't know. And TG was not the only person checking the property. There were plenty of cops around, doing the same, working on the missing person case. And don't forget that Courtney was sending TG on merry goose chases to places where Kurt was not, including hotels and the Carnation property to build the story SHE wanted him to believe. Now factor in the weather.
GoddessFourWinds 10 months ago

@deadgirl82 Grant's got a book deal in the works, and he obviously does TV and radio interviews about his "evidence"...just sayin'
TestMeatDollSteak 2 months ago
@TestMeatDollSteak Thats true-He also doesn't take any fee for doing them ;)
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 And his book that's in the works?? Will he be donating the proceeds from that??
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak I don't know-You'd have to ask him that. If he had done this for money, he'd have taken all the huge cash offers to do interviews etc, and he's always turned them down-He's doing this for JUSTICE, not money. He did have to accept $18 for copies of his case notes, because Courtney had taken him to court & cleaned him out. If none of this was true, why has Courtney taken him to court yet??!!!
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 I don't know, you'd have to ask Courtney that. There are points to be made and reasons for doubt on both sides of the debate. If Grant were really sooo confident that he has "smoking gun" evidence of foul play, then why has he kept it to himself for the last 17 years? He's been re-hashing the same "evidence" for years, and the case remains closed. And why is there so little support for Grant in the Cobain/Nirvana camp, when many of these people do NOT like Courtney Love?
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak Tom Grant has never said that he has a "smoking gun",or anything to that effect. Grant has made it very clear that he has unseen (by every1 except him obv) evidence, and has not been able to produce it because of it's nature. He also says that he NEEDS the SPD to re-open the case as he cannot bring the murder/murderers to trail alone. You should really read "Love & Death"-It goes through a ton of stuff which u wont have known b4,but explains this perfectly x
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 I've read Love&Death :) Grant maintains that he has evidence that would tie Courtney to Kurt's death unequivocally, which makes it "smoking gun" evidence. He also maintains that he won't hand said evidence over to authorities unless the case is reopened - kind of a catch 22 for him. I simply doubt that Grant really has the kind of evidence that he's been promising, but we shall see. His book is supposed to contain "over 90% new information" about the Cobain case...
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak I think the main reason he won't hand it over is because the SPD are so corrupt-evidence has a habit of "disappearing". If the case is re-opened, properly, then he can hand it over... Whatever this evidence is, there must be a way of clearing the tracks-He stated that in the book, so it's another reason not to hand it over until an official investigation is under way...
deadgirl82 1 month ago

@TestMeatDollSteak Lol-Yup,20 was almost a decade ago for me too-Im 29 ;) It really pisses me off when these 14year olds start running their mouth because your opinion is different from theirs-Hell,they're too young to even remember Nirvana!Even at 29 I was only a kid listening to them, mainly because my older brother had their albums ;) You're right-The whole debate goes both ways, but I personally feel that he was murdered, and it's not because I dont wanna imagine that he could kill himself...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 Haha, I'm older than you ;) I was 13 in 1991 when Nevermind blew up, and I've been a Nirvana fan ever since :) This particular subject is a pretty hot button issue in the fan base - a lot of people feel very strongly that they know the "real story" and are too emotionally vested in their positions to rationally debate the actual evidence. I personally think Cobain killed himself, and it's not for lack of researching the evidence, nor am I a fan of Courtney Love's...

@TestMeatDollSteak You see I am a fan of Courtney Love's, yet I still believe that she orchestrated Kurts murder...
Can I ask-Where are you from?? You seem like a really cool person ;) x
deadgirl82 1 month ago

Her writing suffered because of all the drugs she was on, but she was already making waves for critics BEFORE she'd even met Kurt.
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 I have Pretty On The Inside, Live Through This, and the "My Body, The Hand Grenade" singles/b-side/outtake collection. I don't deny that Love wrote the lyrics for Hole's stuff - but Courtney clearly went for "Nevermind" type songwriting with "Live Through This" - hell, the main riff to "Plump" is even the exact same chords as Nirvana's "Breed". Everyone's got their own tastes, but I don't think Love has written anything decent since her time w/ Cobain. Don't hate me! ;)
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak Of course I wont!!! Lol! Courtney has never written the actual music to ANY of Holes stuff-She writes the lyrics & kinda plays along too... She has never claimed that she had anything to do with the writing of any of the actual music... So, if the music on LTT was similar to Nirvana's, then you really need to point the finger at the band, and not her...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 Haha, I'm only suggesting that *perhaps* Cobain showed her (and possibly Eric Erlandson) some riffs here and there, and that he *maybe* helped with the vocal melodies on that record (Live Through This), too. It's just too coincidental that LTT - written largely while Courtney was married to Kurt - sounds soooo much like a Nirvana record, when Pretty On The Inside was so far removed from that kind of pop/verse/chorus/verse type sound.
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak I know what you're saying, but the same could be said about Nirvana-Teen Spirit was a complete Pixies rip-off...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 True, and Nirvana fully admitted that it was a Pixies rip off, with a Boston-esque guitar riff. Nirvana at least had a progression that could be traced through their records of melodic/pop type songs with heavy riffs, whereas Hole did a 180 after Courtney got with Kurt...

She'd been practicing Kurts writing.Courtney called the cops on herself to get an alibi-Why?Rome was only declared a suicide bid AFTER Kurt's death,by Courtney...Too much says "murder"
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 Only Kurt would know if he were suicidal or not, it isn't uncommon for next of kin to be shocked/dismayed by a loved one's suicide. Hartshorne diagnosed a condition called cadaveric spasm in Cobain's left hand around the gun barrel - it's forensic evidence he was alive and tightly gripping the gun when he died. I completely disagree w/ the "retirement letter" theory - the note is self damning, filled w/ guilt, and mentions no future plans...
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak Cadaveric spasm was present, yes, but all that means is that Kurt was holding the gun when it went off. If he was in a drug induced coma, his killer could have easily placed the gun in his hands, pointed it, and pulled the trigger. Why were there no finger prints, on the gun, pen, paper-There were no fingers prints ANYWHERE in that room-Why? Kurt couldn't have done ANYTHING once he'd taken that shot-he would have went straight into a coma...The note had been written by Kurt>>
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 Cadaveric spasm happens at the point of death, and occurs from ATP depletion in muscles (usually the hands) that are contracted in the victim's last act of life. The muscles in Cobain's hand had to be *flexed* before he died, not simply held in place while unconscious. There WERE fingerprints in the room - the cops lifted 6 cards of latent prints from the gun, shells, pen and note. The cops also HANDLED everything BEFORE they checked for prints - IMO the cops ruined them.
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak I fully understand that fact, but if his hands were placed on the gun, as if he were holding it himself, that would still allow the spasm-It doesn't mean that he pulled the trigger-It means that his hands were placed in the right place. Get me??
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 All of the literature that I've read on cadaveric spasm attests to the fact that it occurs in muscles that are contracted/flexed at the time of death, generally during some emotional or physical struggle. If Cobain were unconscious and his hand simply held in place, then the muscles in his hand would still be relaxed, and not contracted - see what I'm sayin'?
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak Yes, I do, but being that his body has been there for a day or so, rigor mortis would have set in, so the same conclusion would have been drawn...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 From Forensic Pathology Online, by Dr. Dinesh Rao, on cadaveric spasm:
"This condition is of great medico-legal importance. Occasionally, in case of suicide, the weapon (e.g. pistol or knife) is seen firmly grasped in the victim's hand, which is a strong presumptive evidence of suicide. Attempts may be made to simulate this condition in order to conceal a murder, but ordinary rigor does NOT produce the same firm grip of a weapon..."

For all we know Rome was the first attempt to take Kurts life.
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 I beg to differ - it has NEVER been proved that Kurt Cobain is not the author of the entire note. Certain analysts have pointed to "more than a dozen differences" between the last 4 lines and main body, but those analysts ultimately were "unable to make a firm pronouncement" due to the fact that they had very poor photocopies of the note to examine. Only the Wash St Patrol's Janis Parker has analyzed the handwritten note, and she determined it to be 100% Cobain's writing.
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak It was his writing, but that note wasn't written out at the same time. That note was a retirement letter, and the parts that were added could have easily been traced using samples of other writing he had done.
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 OR Kurt could have simply added the last lines himself while under the influence of dope, which also offers a logical explanation for the apparent shift in style and tone. The *handwritten* note would need to be examined again, the opinions on the photocopies are all inconclusive and therefore don't cut it. And I still simply greatly disagree with the "retirement letter" interpretation of Cobain's suicide note.
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak Yeah-I thought that too-but when he shot up he would have gone into a coma, so how could he write any extra lines?? People say his tolerance would have been high as a junkie, but he'd just got out of rehab-any tolerance he might have had would have been shot to shit by then...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 Cobain could have been alone in that greenhouse for many hours - writing, chain smoking, shooting up, nodding off, repeating the process - before finally killing himself. Cobain was in rehab for all of two days before he jumped ship - I wouldn't really think that's enough time for his tolerance to be shot to shit...
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak I don't mean this to sound rude, or anything like that, but unless you've shot heroin you really can't say... The levels in his system were 3 times the lethal dose to a heroin addict... No one has ever lived after having even a fraction of that dose...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 That's true, too. I'm not claiming to have personal experience shooting dope. I've met junkies and ex-junkies, however, who *swear* that a 225 mg dose is absolutely nothing. I almost wish some junkie would just take it upon themselves to be a human guinea pig and prove Tom Grant wrong...
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@TestMeatDollSteak But that's the thing-It wouldn't be proving Grant wrong, it would be proving doctors, who specialize in substance abuse wrong... Not to mention the hundreds of cases that were looked at & compared to the Cobain case. There isn't one single case of any addict ever surviving the same dose as Kurt-NOT ONE. I think that speaks volumes...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 That's cool, doctors can be (and often times are) wrong, too. The presence of instantaneous rigor in Kurt's left hand would seem to offer forensic evidence that Cobain was in control of his faculties enough to be tightly gripping the shotgun barrel at the exact moment he died. Are there other recorded examples of cadaveric spasm of this nature occurring in a victim thought to be in a coma at the time of death?
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 Hi, one thing that kills me is everyone is so quick to say 225mg of heroin will kill you and leave one crucial thing out of the equation... the potency of the dope for instance you have a migraine headache you take two Tylenol because your certain two Tylenol is almost always enough, you buy street drugs throw consistency out the window.

@motocarnage615 That's just another point on the whole "murder" front. He could have thought he would be ok, and someone coulda gave him pure...
deadgirl82 1 month ago
@deadgirl82 You mean shot him up twice? sure I believe it's possible but, the amount of heroin people are claiming was in his system was more than enough to manipulate him to the point of getting a shotgun in his mouth. so why kill a dead man twice?
motocarnage615 4 weeks ago
@motocarnage615 No-I mean he might have thought it was not as strong as it actually was-He could have been given a pure dose. The strength was proven by his blood morphine level. Kurt had been in rehab prior to his death, so any tolerance he may have built up would have been gone by that stage. Have you actually read the case notes etc?
deadgirl82 4 weeks ago
@deadgirl82 Yes I have read the case documents I used to swear by them too, nowhere on Cobain case or justice for Kurt does it say anywhere how potent the heroin was... again it just states he took a wad way to fast based on his blood work apparently medical examiners aren't afraid to challenge this. Kurt had just survived a massive, massive rohypnol and champagne induced coma only to come home and get high before leaving for rehab for all of two days. Have you actually read the case notes?
motocarnage615 4 weeks ago 3
@motocarnage615 Yes I have & ive done a ton of research myself too. They have told us how potent it was many times-It's in the blood/morphine level & there could tell it was in one dose due to the point of entry! I firmly believe that Kurt was murdered, and im not going off of all of the case files-Im going off those as well as my own research into the relevant fields. If u go back through all the comments on this video, u will see what ive written previously ;) x

@deadgirl82 Please go to justice for Kurt find the dead men don't pull triggers rebuttal, skip to compensation for adulteration... if you can cite anything else on record claiming his hit was in between 1% and 93% purity (given dilution) as well as the several cutting agents used let me know.
motocarnage615 2 weeks ago
@motocarnage615 I'd like to suggest that you research yourself-Read medical reports, case notes, and also look into similar cases. Do not go off of "Kurt Cobain" related sites alone, because they're always going to be bias, one way or another ;) x
deadgirl82 2 weeks ago
@deadgirl82 For all we know, Rome *could* have been Kurt's first attempt on his own life, OR it *could* have simply been an accident, as Kurt himself claimed that it was before his death. I've never experienced the loss of a close friend/family member, so I won't pretend to fully understand what you and your family have gone through, but I'm sure that it's been difficult and painful, to say the least... :(
TestMeatDollSteak 1 month ago
