Yeah, just read the instruction manual (helps!) and it says:

"Mothership: The slow moving Scrin Mothership is a superweapon capable of releasing a jolt of energy that disinegrates it's target and causes a chain reaction that can level entire cities"

Here is why the mothership destroyed the silos and the others not:

The mothership (MS) uses a CATALIST canon. catalist weapons have a chain reaction on tiberium (look at nod catalist rocket) now, TIBERIUM silos, are tiberium based so the catalist canon wil start a chain reaction on the TIBERIUM. the same would have happend it it were refineris or harvesters. but if it were powerplants or tech centers they would not have been destroyed

i dont know. although its not the most complex graphics, and damadge. but it has the largiest range. i think it goes from best to worst; Rift, Ion cannon, Nuke.

I guess the Mothership is DEFINITELY the best superweapon. It wiped out the ENTIRE base with basically one blast! It just kept going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going until the WHOLE base was gone!

Yeah, I used the advanced control that forces a unit to target something - i got it a spare bit of ground in the middle of the base - so therefore, it keeps shooting until I told it to stop. Interesting though, that even before it made the second shot, some of the silos started to glow and then collapse - Mothership has a nice wide area effect!

As you can see, the Mothership is Awesome! NO mercy! Although it seems a LITTLE unfair that the Scrin get the Rift Generator AND the Mothership. Oh, well! Scrin for the win! WooHOO!

Problem is my graphic card (not to mention my computer in general) dosen't have the right requirements for this kind of game, but after all the trailers and when i've played most of the C & C games i'd say it's awesome ^^!
