I most definitely should apply this for when I talk to girls. I've been rejected so many times for various reasons, but I know that it isn't always because of me. I'm hanging out with a girl, just friends, although I'd like to be more than just friends with her, but the fact that she does see good in me does help me understand that I can find a girl who is interested and likes me.

As for my job as a salesman, I have to apply this method you mentioned because you get a lot more no's than yes's.
