I tried to do this look but my hair is just to fine, flat, heavy and long. I measured it's 66 cm long if you don't use metric it's 26" Even if I use curling tongs and a whole can of hairspray my hair goes flat after half an hour. Any Ideas
I have a similar problem: flat-as-a-pancake, straight-as-an-iron, long hair. I am forever trying to get volume into it. I find pincurls the best "base preparation" for my hair to create these styles. Look up strawberrykoivintage for a tut.
@ShadowedMoonLight you need layers to lighten the heavy parts of your hair, you could also get the lengths "thinned out". Just explain to your stylist what you're not happy with and i'm sure they'll help :)
OMG, you're so cute...And I love your concentration and attention to your audience...Alotta the ladies on here kinda expect you to know what they are talking about...But you're pretty real...Cool dish!
I really like this look. After watching your vid on this hair and the smokey chocolate makeup, I tried it to get ready to go out with some friends and I got tons of comments! Your videos are awesome! Thank you!
Your videos are great and you have a really nice friendly way of talking people through what you do.
Difficult to say in print without sounding like I'm calling you out for mispronouncing something (please don't think that!) but for future reference the word you are looking for is dishevelled (c;
thank you for this tut! i have really curly hair naturally so I cant do it exactly but i got a lot of great tips and info for my modified version of this. especailly how to do the "bump" prt which is always a hit or miss for me. plus your gorgeous and your wearing one of my fav nail polishes :)
finally someone with my type of hair. All the other tutorials have been with asian hair, and that makes it hard to do for my thick wawy hair. Love your vids. Keep up the good work!
ok if i have curly-wavishy hair it'll tanlge it, wont it harm it and how do we like after hhmm like when we want to comb it all out like when we r going 2 bed nd take a shower how do we comb it, it'll be all tangled d: i love the look but i love my hair i dont want to mess it up,...hepd :D i love the style seriously
To make your hair less hard to comb through after this look, you can do the teasing in a circle motion instead, it will have the same effect but is less harsh on the hair shaft. Condition the teased area a little more in the shower and that will also help to detangle . If you have a leave in conditioner, (a spray or creme you can buy at a drug store) you can use this everyday to help with hair softness and this will also help.:D happy teasing i hope this helped:]
Have you done a tutorial about DIY hair dye? I know it fairly straight forward but my hair is shoulder length and everytime I box dye it I always seem to miss the middle back even tho my hair is all creamy from the dye and fairly distributed.
So when I go dark from having blonde highlights I always manage to miss a few blonde streaks and it looks funny when its only at the back and kinda under neath.
BTW you are very pretty and I LOVE all your tips!!

If you don't have curling tongs you could use your straightning irons.
Your ones are quite fat ones so they would be good for this.. it would leave a more loose wavey curl : ]
You should try the curling with your straightners and see what look it give it.
