Hmm...this is a pretty fair review overall for me at least, for their reviews in the past have been pretty spot-on.

On the other hand, the fact that it is being compared to PC RTS's does skew it to some degree.

It was obvious long ago that it wouldn't measure up to PC RTS's, and the many criticisms here do make sense. Since its meant to be highly accessible, then it does its best.

They said it was fun but lacked depth, but that's often what happens with things like this.

all the reviews on halo wars are dumb,of course everyone wanted to play as the flood but when they say its only 2 races they are quite wrong about that because the 2 races has 3 different leaders that has different tactics for example you cant do an proper marine rush with anyone except cutter and the thing with covenant campaign is ridicolous,can you play as the brute in halo 3?no,can you play as the flood?no,but if you could the story wouldnt be so good,the controls r as good as they can get

Oh, Ensemble studios may have closed down, but they're devs have stated several times that they will add DLC content, that will add much needed depth. Flood and Covie campaigns may be included if people nag for it, and Flood may become playable (maybe even forerunner objects).

If it weren't for DLC, I wouldn't get this game, but there will be DLC. More campaign missions, skulls, units, buildings, features, upgrades and what not, this may be the icon of all future console RTS'S.

This reviewer is an idiot. The A.I are too easy? Did this guy play the game on legendary difficulty? What about the skulls that give A.I's 50% more health, and the extra veteracy skull that makes all A.I units better all around. Hard enuf?

This guy said its 1v1, 2v2, and 2v2v2. What a moron. It's 3v3, not 2v2v2.

You can set waypoints for units. Just press X. This guy is pretty dumb.

Metacritic is more reliable, the average for the game is currently 8.3 with all the reviews. Looking forward 2 it.

Ok, for the halo knob slobers out there I'll explain this review.

The Bad:

Short missions, Short campagn, Only 1 playable race in singe player, only 2 races in multiplayer, you CAN NOT use the Flud at all!, no custom grouping of units, 2 multyplayer mods. limited base buildings, low unit count, no depth

the good:

Pretty Graphics, its a Halo game (overrated), simple controls
