@narutowoodard It's actually the other way around: Jap Hard = US Normal. The US version was the special version that no other countries had, so the Jap version was the same as the other versions. Their Easy mode didn't exist in our version, as our Hard mode didn't exist in their version. The Special Edition added those modes in their respective modes, with the addition of Very Hard.

@narutowoodard This is Dante's Awakening, but no version is any less difficult than the other for DMD mode. The US version of DMD is the same for the other versions of DMD, which means US Dante's Awakening DMD = Jap Dante's Awakening DMD = Special Edition DMD.

Is this the Special Edition or the Original? And you should make the last fight more "Dramatic" next time by not using quciksilver or cheap tactics. Just go in there with Ultimate Dante and use DT against Vergil the whole fight. :)

If I have to repeat the same boring tactics over and over again to achieve that, then so be it. I've provided enough "dramatics" in my other SS videos, such as my Mission 3, 5, 12 and 19 videos. View those, if you care, but flash was never the intention for these videos. It was just for the SS ranks.

I can't say for sure now. Bayonetta is looking sick as fucking hell, but DMC1 is just TOO classic. Kamiya looks like he's going the complex combat route with Bayo, so until I play the game to see if he can pull it off, DMC1 is the ultimate action game.

Stylish points range from 0 points to 8000. The D-SSS ranks correspond to these numbers: SSS ranks for 8000 point down to D ranks for 1000. Unranked kills net you 0 points. Whatever your stylish rank is, during a kill, is the amount of points you'll be rewarded for. DTE kills that shoot you from an unranked style to an SSS rank only net you 5000 points, however.

S rank requirements are determined by averaging the stylish kills and doesn't reflect how long you can maintain a S+ killing spree

Also I agree with you about DMC4 it wasn't fun as DMC3! For me the orb rank totally kills the entire fun, you need to break objects all the time which makes it annoying to retry and do it over and over, plus you have to fight same bosses twice :\
