I'm actually a DJ and I play a fair amount of dubstep... It's easy to make but a pain in the ass to mix because the BPM is hard to judge... The lyrics usually is at one speed and the "womp" is at another...typically varying speed... So I don't doubt that it's the right speed... I made a Cannibal mix and...I made it...and have a hard time mixing it properly... So don't feel bad...it isn't just you... Kudos on the mix...

@hpthehitman in some cases when there's subgenres it would. for example: genre-jazz, subgenre1- bossa nova, subgenre2-ragtime, where bossa nova would mostly be around 90bpm and ragtime would mostly be at 120bpm or so...but bossa nova can head up to high bpm also..... anyway i agree that tempo doesn't matter in genres, every genre should be able to have it's ballads! i think it helps set the mood for something awesome! idk why i just wrote all of this anyway....
