I had one of these as a kid. If I remember right you could save. But then again I was putting anything I did on cassette immediately afterwards. I was the man! Lol!
Do you lose all your drumbeats when you turn it off, even if you saved them to internal memory? I'd make a really nice beat and save it internal memory, but when I come back the next day they're gone!!
@TheAnonymousmusic argos do a universal adapter that works just fine. I also found mine in a hedge in the rain! took it a part, dried it, lubed with wd40, dried it again, powered it up and yay it worked :D
Hi! You know, i turned down the volume of other stuff just to get pure drum sound. I never liked those programmable bass sounds, actually. I prefer to write my own bass patches (even from "brass" it may sound well). Regards.
My first keyboard also. Had to go off-base (in the toy section) to buy a memory card, cost more than the board cost on-base. I learned my chops and programming skills on this board.. Even talked a friend back home into one. Gave it to my niece ( I know, I know...) Saw it months later, missing keys and such. I'm sorry Keyboard Gods. I've made good on my other equipment. Honest.
there's probably an internal battery that needs to be replaced. Will look like a watch batteries check it's voltage etc. and see if it's easily replaceable.
wow! This made me get my circa '87 HT-700 from the closet. I still had the RAM card. Plugged in it and had an hours fun. Put it away again. Maybe next year!!! :-)
I had a Casio HT 700 for years since I was 12 but it died after years of using it. I actually had it in my basement for a long time, but unfortuanitly i disposed of it a short while ago...it is now in casio heavem..:) I didnt know if there was a way to fix it...I was going to try replacing the battery or something with a cellphoen battery but i never did try that..I learned how to play on my HT when i was 12.
sounds lame? surely not! PCM cowbells are coming back sometime soon (in an alternate universe) ; ) I love my HT for its video game cheese sounds- priceless
mt-100 has a graphic EQ, yes, but mt-400v has a wacky resonant filter and ADS envelope instead, they can affect the drums, chords or main voice, its like the worlds crappest 303! Thats why I love it, and the lovely woolly bass organ sounds, and the chorus is lush......its not for sale! look on ebay at Item number: 110345706263, its not an mt400 but it looks hilarious!
It's simple. Choose "92" (Rhythm Pattern) in "Mode" menu. As u see, you can play drum sounds on keys on the left side. Now choose "1" in "Data" menu. Press "delete" few times and press start. You shouldn't hear anything (if u hear a drum loop, repeat operation hitting "delete" more frequently). Now you can start hitting keys with drums and they will be looped. You can volume down accomp to hear drums only. That;s all.
Yea, it can be programmed using brass and adding some effects.
I saw RolandSH1000 bent and i like it, cause he added some funky effects without killin synth's soul. But i wouldn't bent my Casio and any other SYNTH - but i would do it with some lame keyboards (like casio ct, mt or some "non-brand" ones). PS. Sorry for my english mistakes, i'm not from US or UK.

Those drums were 12-bit? I never knew that!
For a while I was using an HT-700 as my MIDI controller board with my old Amiga MIDI setup.

Miałem kiedyś sobie go kupić, ale dobrze, że nie kupiłem. Brzmi trochę plastikowo ale ta programowalna perkusja to duży "+".

Got one of these myself, its a pretty cool all in one box...for what it is.
I was able to program a very respectable JUMP lead out of it.
did you see what RolandSH1000 did to his?
If he ever posts the schematics i would love to do the same to mine.
