Ok, she was in her car drunk and was arrested. It does happen. Only if she took her keys and threw them away from the vehicle she may have avoided being arrested as it shows she was not going to drive the car, which would help in court if needed. As far as the assault goes, how can this judge conclude that she should have held onto the door frame when she was tossed? Wouldnt that be resisting and lead to further brutality? Also, for police officers who do kill someone in the line of duty, no matter what the circumstances or how wrong or illegal it was, they are completely protected by the system. No one ever lost their job or went through the justice system from the 2005 gangkilling of the completely innocent Brazilian, Jean Charles de Menezes, for example.

Following a FOUR DAY APPEAL before a most respected High Court judge the court was satisfied after carefully considering the FACTS that Sgt Andrews did NOT cause Somerville injury. Consequently, the sentence applied earlier by the lower court was TOTALLY QUASHED by the High Court judge and Sgt Andrews has no criminal record whatsoever also can apply for compensation which could take months. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH NOW?
