  • These deleted scenes are really amazing. I am surpised they took them out. I think some would have made the movie almost to scary for the average movie watcher. Pure genius and it was so easy to take it for granted in the 80s.

  • so tell me guys why did he do that to them i seen this over well i cant remember but i was a child lol :)

  • Is this on DVD? I fucking love these scenes, would've made the film more detailed but interesting too :) Good film btw

  • @JacobDoomGuy1994 it's on netflix, if you have it. o;

  • Comment removed

  • The short jingle Leslie sings at 4:50 sounds wicked with that Prophet 600 synthesizer.

  • It seems like the sand burying would only work if they forced you to have your arms straight down with your hands near your hips, the weight of the sand would be too great for you to lift your arms. If you could get your arms bent and get your hands nearer the surface as you were being buried you might be able to escape.

  • @calamagrostis88 They tested this on a TV show once. First off, to dig a hole deep enough required the use of a back hoe (big machine). Secondly, the guy was able to dig himself out after about an hour of trying. HOWEVER, they tied the same thing while pouring water on him to simulate the tide coming in. The water made it impossible to dig out of. So it's possible to do this, but not as easy as it looks in the movie.

  • Six people should tell Fluffy to call 'em Billie.

  • Where did the deleted scenes come from?

  • OMG...Ed Harris had hair in this??!! wow

  • I wonder if any one else noticed that the marble ash tray in fathers day can be seen throughout the movie,if you look closely

  • Adrienne said Cunt! Love it!

  • @hebleedsglitter In the original VHS and BETA version she is dubbed with the word 'crotch' LOL this is the first time I hear the word cunt in a mainstream film from the 80's!!!

  • @dingelberryonparade It makes me crave the special edition all the more!

  • @dingelberryonparade Scarface said it a few times, lol

  • I wish they kept Harry and Becky's drowning sequence like it is in this clip. Do you know why they removed it? Time issues?

  • look up everything went black by the black dahlia murder the video references to this movie

  • My favorite stories are Father's Day, The Crate and Something to Tide You Over. They're Creeping up on You made me not eat Chocolate Rice Crispees for a month!

  • Nice to see the stuff they cut out

  • This movie is truly the most fun you'll ever have being scared.

  • creepshowcreep, where did you find these deleted/extended scenes from?

  • why is this not on the DVD?

  • The greatest horror movie ever made by 3 masters of horror. Stephen King writer of many horror novels, George A. Romero "zombie legend" director and long time FX wizard Tom Savini. Great story, great film and great actors it should be restored and remastered for dvd & blueray with these "lost" scenes with featurettes, I'll pay the $25 for that dvd

  • I like the scene with the guy looking at them while dying. But it's not included in the movie is it?

  • METEOR SHIT!

  • @Carthsting hehe one of the best lines in the film :)

  • This scene with old man in frames under disturbing music scared me in childhood. And defined my directoral vision.

  • I love Creepshow, how come the special edition dvd is only in the UK?

It should also be in the USA!!!!

  • Anyone ever notice that the marble ashtray Aunt Bedelia uses to bash Nathan Granthams head in appears again later in the movie on Leslie Nielsons nightstand?

  • @jamdude13

Leslie Nielsons nightstand at what part in the movie?

  • On "Something to tide you over" The scene when he's laying on the bed watching T.V. with a drink in his hand. The marble ashtray is on the nightstand to his right

  • @jamdude13

    Wow you're right lol...BLOOPER!!

  • That ashtray can be seen in all of the segments if you look hard enough for it. It appears on the professor's desk in Jordy's first daydream sequence. It appears again in The Crate on Henry's desk in his study as he's writing the letter to Wilma. It can be seen as a soapdish in Mr. Pratts apartment in the last segment. And it makes a final appearance at the very end of the wraparound segment when Billy is stabbing the voodoo doll.

  • @TheAltair4 I kinda figured if it was in the something to tide you over segment it would be somewhere in all of them, I tried looking for it before in the others but didn't see it.Now I gotta pop the dvd on and find it..Cool..Thanks for the 411!!

  • Actually, that marble ashtray from "Father's Day" appears in all of the segments in the movie. It's on Leslie Nielsen's nightstand in "Something To Tide You Over," it is a paperweight on the doctor's desk in one of Jordy Verril's dream sequences, and it's also used as Upson Pratt's soapdish in "They're Creeping Up On You!"

  • @jamdude13 Oh yeah, and it's also seen in "The Crate" when Henry is writing a letter to Wilma.

  • I was suprised at how well Leslie Nielsen played this type of role.

  • shatuleblanck 68

  • Love that Prophet 5 synth!!!!

  • Does anyone know what she is blirting out from 1:23 - 1:30?

  • @CazK88 I think she is just screaming in horror since she just saw her boyfriend with half his face blown off.

  • @CazK88 I listened to it a couple of times. One of morgue techs asks her if the body is that of her fiancee' and it sounds like she screams first, then says "Yes! Yes!"

  • @TarotMage

LOL..Thanks for answering my question. It just seems like she was going crazy! LOL. I wish they didn't delete that part from the film. I was actually trying to buy the deleted scenes. Can't seem to find it.

  • The bare bones realease is a joke

  • Anyone know if the dvd will be released with the extended stuff anytime soon. It should, makes for a better movie.

  • If memory serves, these are not actually deleted scenes. These were in the HBO version back in the day. You might want to try finding an old VHS copy.

  • I still have an old vhs copy of when the movie first came out on video. None of the extended scenes shown are on that video.

  • @hulkster46a . Yeah I still have my VHS tape of this and none of theses scenes

  • Nooo this was not the HBO version. What was recorded and finalized in theaters is what was copied to be shown on air. These are all deleted scenes.

  • I thought so, I had Tom Savinis book called Grand Illusions, and shows how he created the effects for Creepshow and others. As well as makeup effects for the deleated scenes.

  • @hulkster46a

Do you know where can I find the 2 disc special and the behind the scenes footage by Savini?

  • You might check his website, I have the video tape of Sceam Greats that was the first of Fangorias video magazine series. But I don't know if they ever put that on dvd. I guess keep me posted on the special edition of Creepshow, if its even out there? And I'll keep looking too.

  • @hulkster46a

    Thanks dude.

  • ty 4 that

    (2:19 looks like yodas shadow)

  • nice.

  • I just watched this last night with a friend again and I we noticed the ashtray used in "Father's Day" to smash Father's head in shows up in "Something To Tide You Over" and "The Crate" and also The Meteor story! Look for it.

  • If most of this stuff was left in, Creepshow would have been even better!!!

Screw exclusivity, bring that 2 disc edition to the US. All we have is the old, bare bones DVD, AND IT STINKS!!!!!

  • Fantastic. I did not know about this and I've been a fan for years. Wow. As for the good people at Warner Brothers......FUCKING IDIOTS.

  • love the movie....jody varrell hilarious

  • HOLY OLD... JEsUS!!! or, METEOR SHIT!

  • I love this, thank you very much. Tom Savini mentions a lot of the deleted scenes in his film especially Creepshow so this is great to see the effects in full fruition. You should check out my short film PUREE which was a 16mm homage piece to Creepshow. We did our own guerilla special effects with the guidance of Savini's Grande Illusions including a prosthetic hand! Check it out CreepshowCreep

  • Geesh! The scene where Bedelia identifies the body - that was nasty. His face was half gone. Gross!

  • AWESOME!!!!! Totally AWESOME!!!! Alright Hamiton!!!!!

  • is this the movie where there is a monster in a crate???

  • Yep ;-)

  • On 9:10..I always thought she said cunt, but in the regular movie she always says crotch.I knew it was cunt.I was beat for that one as a child!lol

  • People are so uptight about words.

That's why I make sure the women I hang with love to say cunt.

  • On the original VHS version...she does.

I still have mine and it's not dubbed.

  • the first 2 were great but the 3rd one was just a piece of crap. i dont accept that into the creepshow stories

  • Warner Bros needs to release this as a special edition with these scenes put back in, BAD I would buy a special edition make it happen WB PLEASE

  • @fatfoxclown

    Agreed 100%.

  • The Crate is by far the deepest, most clever story in Creepshow - i absolutely love Creepshow! i've been watching 1 an 2 for almost 20 full years now and I am still amazed at how fucking great they are..

  • creepshow man fucking classics

where's my cake, see how long you can hold your breath, thanks for the ride lady

man im a 30yo aussie and this and the twilight zone/outert limits kick arse

  • Stephen King was too good in this movie; every time I see him all I think is slack-jawed hillbilly. You're fucking-a right!

  • These are all included on the 2 disc Special Edition along with Tom Savini's Behind the Scenes footage

  • @Monzterman

Where can I find the 2 disc special and the behind the scenes footage?

  • its on amazon uk, put this in google and it should take you right to it :

Creepshow (2 Disc Special Edition) [1982] [DVD]

  • @Monzterman

Have you bought it? I read into the reviews that the quality is awful and the UK cannot ship it to the US because it may not be viewable outside Europe. Any idea why?

  • @Monzterman

If I buy the actual DVD movie that comes with the special edition, is this the same thing?

  • Gotta hold your breath, there, Harry.

    Gotta hold you breath.

  • How did you aquire this money?

You might say, It fell out of the sky...hehehe...

  • Thank you for these scenes! I never saw them before now and wish they were included in the original US release. The extra scenes in "Father's Day" really helped clarify some aspects about the episode, while Adrienne Barbeau's scene in "The Crate" made me love her frowzy, drunky character even more ("Aaah, call me Billie, everyone does!") Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Love this movie. Loaded with old school charm.

  • I saw this film when i was 8 years old it was very scary

  • IT'S SHOWTIME!

  • It's strange everyone thinks this is rare. On the first UK video Intervision release all these scenes are there. What a fucking waste of time.

  • I have that release and these scenes are NOT present. Perhaps you're thinking of a different release. What's the catalogue number? If what you say is true I would love to track it down.

  • @creepshowcreep These are not a waste of time and amentveddergossard is an idiot. I'd delete his comment and ban him if this were my account.

  • @amentveddergossard I like your attitude,keep it up

  • pretty...good...

  • My favorite episode was the "Something to Tide you Over" one.

  • Interesting parts.

  • does anyone else's workprint have that annoying blue screen with the VCR Tracking or No!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks like shit :O

  • Where can I get a DVD-RW version of this and the freaking movie I can't wait for another special edition to come out whenever i want it now

  • METEOR SHIT!!!

  • Does Ed Harris have the highest forehead in recorded history? And this was BEFORE his hairline receded!

  • wow! Ultra rare stuff... they need to release this on DVD again and add that as a bonus feature on it..or release it as an Uncut version. =D

    Very Nice. ^^ 5/5

  • Watch from the 7:18 mark. Richard enjoys a nice little pimp step!!!

  • I like that part at 1:25, bedilla's reaction. Are these deleted scenes on the DVD?

  • Yes, they are.

  • I watched this movie years ago, but just realized that is Leslie Nielsen from "The Naked Gun"! LOL

  • *IF you can hoooold your breath!!*

  • jeesh, that music from 5:00-8:56 is sooo creepy, i love it XD

  • BRUTAL...

  • Where did you get this, THANK YOU! This is one of my favorite movies and foolishly i thought there would be no extended scenes. Im glad you posted and proved me wrong.

  • ...or whoever that etiquette cunt is.

  • Jordy Verril, you lunkhead

  • they deleted loads from something to tide you over.

  • WHERE'S MY CAKE?!!!

thanks for the ride lady!(creepshow 2)

  • I seen this film hundreds of times, the ashtray in the first story is in all five stories somewhere

  • it's hard to picture Frank Drebin as a bad guy. haha

  • funny when he said I'm gonna get [then the water goes in his face] lmao

  • Creepshow is a lot of a fun. Part 2 is dreadful. Haven't seen the third one. Its too bad Leslie Nielsen has been typecast as a comic actor. He was such a great bad guy here. Nice to see this footage. Thanks for posting.

  • I also wanna see Leslie Nielson in more villianious roles too.

  • i loved this movie ! it was way ahead of its time for this decade!

  • That is so creepy.imagine dieing like that.Thats the worst torture ever.:)

  • Great Horror Movie! The first one is better than the second.

  • is this movie worth seeing?

  • If your a b-movie/horror movie fan, I say absolutely. It's absolutely great. It;s got that comic book feel to it. It's great!

  • Evie2131...movie is definately worth seeing it. As a matter of fact, it is the only horror I own. I remember watching it when I was 10 or 11 and I still love it!

  • I hate horror, but i loved it

  • I found the comic book from this movie at a thrift store and The comic has most of these scenes in it.

  • White meat, dark meat... all will be carved.

  • Thank you sooo much. I nvr realized they cut so much out.

  • they took lots out of the third storie.

  • this film scared me to death i watched it aged 8. terrified this film did.

  • me too

the father day one scares me more than any movie because i watched it so young

  • the first one and the one with a thing in the crate and the cockroach one scared me im still terrified of cockroaches..

  • wuts funny is they used real roaches.

  • i know!!

  • Anyone know if that background music during the Tide You Over segment is used in another movie? I feel like I recognize it.

  • Yankee doodle came to town doo dah, doo dah..

  • Assuming you're talking about the 'camp town races' song, I mean the part right after that.

  • They should have kept these senes in the film, particulary on "Father's Day", it gives some much needed backstory. "Something to Tide you Over" was long enough to have that kept out though.

  • And I've heard lots of people saying Father's Day was kinda weak (not to me though) but yeah these extra scenes sure add a more creepy feel to the story

  • thanks for letting us watch the deleted scenes mr creepshow

  • *raises his glass of Iced tea and joins in with much cheering! Aye!*

  • I hope Warner requires the rights to the 2 disc import and releases it for the U.S. with a third disc of stuff.

  • Cool, I never knew about these scenes beforehand, thanx.

  • Yes, Great

  • How did you get this footage? It's not on any DVD. I'm just curious and because it's my favorite film and I like to collect movies.

  • Very interesting. That scene where Bedelia is at the morgue, that is on the trailer

  • Love the score in the segement "Something To Tide You Over." "Richard!" "I'm gonna get you Richard!"

  • you know the sene ware bailila was asked to identify the body of her boy frind was not in the movie but in the commic book that secne is incloded .

  • Learn to fucking spell English for God's sake you moron

  • Damn! That sucks! How come I don't get a 2-Disc Special Edition?

  • is that Leslie Nielson? Unusual to see him in a horror film.

  • Yes, both Stephen King and Leslie Nielson made cameos in this film.

  • Actually Nelson has played quite a few bad guys.

  • Oh ok! I mainly know him from Airplace, Naked Gun and stuff like that. I missed those other ones.

  • Yeah that's what he's mostly known for, I personally don't like to see him as the bad guy.

  • Check out his "Night Gallery" episode. Man, amazing performance! Actually his Creepshow segment reminded me a bit of that episode, even though it's completely different.

  • Do you know the title of that ep?

  • Sure, episode's name is "A Question Of Fear". It's actually here, on YouTube, in 5 parts. Fritz Weaver, who was also in "Creepshow", segment "The Crate", is there, too.

  • Thanks my man

  • thats Stephen King. (1:37)

  • booby
