acctualy the 512MB version has DDR2 memories wich are quite slower than DDR3(256MB Version)

BUT if you have the Sparkle 8600GT Calibre Edition, that one have 512MB DDR3 memories

in test drive i have got min 21fps max 49fps in max details with hdr (8600gt 512mb 540/1400mhz)

In 1024x768 I get 50-60 frames and in 1280x1024 about 35-45 without fraps recording!

I think is pretty good system for its price!
