Shawn plays on the Donovan track - his own version is on 1965 LP "I'm A Loner" (also the name of standout title track) -- he's a scintillating 12-string guitarist & fine singer-songwriter -- (in comparison, Donovan's Little Tin Soldier sounds dull) -- there's also a great version of Phil Ochs' The Bells

Donovan's version was on "Fairy Tale" (the orig Pye release, not the Marble Arch reissue) which has some lovely tracks - I'll Try For The Sun, Sunny Goodge Street, and Bert Jansch's Oh Deed I Do

Thanks, Kris! This is one of only two songs to which I apply my awkward two-finger picking. It works well with this song but I know that I learned finger picking wrong because my hand hurts so much afterwards. :o)
