Infantry is a quantitative combat oriented force, in the other side PJs in my opinion is a small group of highly trained soldiers that not can only sustain combat but rescue oriented. Your question its not exactly objective being more remarking the fact that PJ'S get a more expanded training and off course being more competitive to be selected.
But now, army rangers do the same as PJ's as far as search and rescue, and they are a main combat force in the U.S army, ranger's are trained to kill in order to rescue, PJ's are trained to survive long enough to get in and out,

From what I understand you have to have vision above 20/70 and both eyes have to be correctable to 20/20. I know they make perscription combat glasses now. Kinda like snglasses except there shatter proof and almost indestructable. If you have to dive under water you can get prescription diving goggles.
24th special tactics(MAIKO) and he said when he was in the regular teams the CCT guys are awesome but they couldn't conduct the things the SEALs were doing on the same level. Then when he made it to ST-6(DEVGRU) the MAIKO guys did their jobs extremly well but they were not as good door kickers as the other CT units. and he's cross-trained with many CT units from DELTA, to FBI's CT unit HRT, and other nato's units like Britains SBS CT unit. and Australia's SASR. DEVGRU is just another caliber
The last scene was a operation done by Army SF(Green Beret's) There were CCT assigned to usually two CCT are assigned to a SF, SEAL, or Ranger unit. So most of the guys almost all the guys in that raid you see are SF guys. To Oxstayne you should verify is that guy really was a former SEAL(Most likely not) My dads a former SEAL(BUDS class 108,UDT team 12 and SEAL team 6(DEVGRU) he's worked with CCT his entire career when he was in the regular teams and then he worked with 24th special tactis(CON)

heres a fact sheet for you
Eyesight Requirements:
o Standard: Must be at least 20/70 or better in both eyes and both correctable to 20/20 with glasses. Must have normal color vision.
o Waiver possibilities: If one eye is 20/70 or better and other no worse than 20/200, or if both eyes are no worse than 20/100.
o No depth perception requirement

So you went to Deps and you failed and they let you sign up for CCT I know your full of shit b/c they told my buddy when me and him both went for CCT physicals that he was DQ'd b/c he didn't pass DP.

Been there already made it all the way to CCT shool in Pope until my girl got prego and I decided to drop out b/c I'd rather be wit family then deployed 24/7 put I have tremendous respect for every CCT and I can tell your just like every oter bitch who thinks they're big and bad and haven't even made it to basic

Uhhh actually he's right. Special Forces for the Army folks most commonly known as "Green Berets". Special Operations is everything under the SOCOM realm. So in a way Special Forces is Special Operations but not in the way you were thinking though...
