I saw one episode(the Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan!!!) one and wasn't impressed.

Maybe it's cause a lot of my friends made a great hype about it and told me that i have to see this masterpiece.

So my high expectations which weren't met!

The second series despite some classic moments doesnt quite reach the heights of the first. Don't write Partridge off based on one episode, give both series a watch and I promise you won't regret it. Look out for the writers of Father Ted, they make an appearance in series 1.

I appreciate that some of the references might not work on foreign viewers, for example if you dont know who Bill Oddie is. And in my humble opinion Father Ted is the funniest programme of all time.

I actually prefer 2 to 1. I must have seen every episode of each season at least 20 times each. Just watch Alans Character like a hawk during season 2 and it's hilarious. I can actually recite a lot of the scenes after watching so much.
