There are probably a lot of influences, but who cares? Some even mention the Deftones. It sounds genuine to me and it rocks like hell. Love this new album just as much as Sci Fi Crimes. Some numbers like revenge I can play days on end....

Lyrics remind me of TOOL...I love this! TOOL was an amazing bad, Maynard an amazing song writer and this group is just as good!

Entire album gets better and better each time you go through it. They are layering their sound more and more but never get away from that "Chevelle" sound. And this song... friggin wall of sound that runs right over you.

This album my not be as hard hitting as This type, vena sera, or wonder, but it grows on you fast and is well but together.....to me, better than sci fi crimes.
