  • This is truly the best drumlins video

  • Dang!! Nice job on the sweeps!

  • I've been trying to learn this for months. I suck, but's my first year on quads and i had so much trouble learning 0:40 oh well, I'll get there eventually (but not as good as these guys)

  • @iliketodrum23 Could you please tell me the actual part on 0:40 cuz i can't tell and idk where i actually get the full part

  • yo dis is the rawest snare part to the hardest & rawest cadence a drumline can play....i lik the part after the quad solo

  • 0:00 "Last try" hahahah xD

  • These guys almost make band cool.

  • @GtotheRANT36 close enough.

  • You guys have pretty nice chops. You should check your left hand tap heights on the snare though.

  • I wish I could still drum like this. Arthritis AND carpal tunnel. =[

  • this song is awesome but i just cant hit the triple rolls on each hand only the right so i just do thrree stroke rolls can anyone help me improv my left hand

  • Murray would be proud. :)

  • what rudiment(s) are they doing at 1:06?

  • @Icekiller1369

    Is that even a rudiment?

  • @guitargod i think you're right, sounds cleaner, but theres only two of them lol. tenors is hot ;)

  • ha i play along to this alot

  • Best part = Sandals's marktime 0:54 :D WIN!!

  • the thing is is that the snare part is so easy... Props to Quad

  • @MrMacDrummer actually both are pretty challenging snare needs endurance and tenors needs skill for those tricky passages, ive tried both parts aand have to say the tenor part is more fun than the snare part, but the snare part has simpler passages :D

  • Love to play along with these guys. They're just great.

  • awsome chops guys!

  • awsome chops guys!

  • who would dislike this? seriously lol

  • @JordannZombiee Someone always has something negative to say !

  • fuck i wish i could play either of this bosses

  • did anyone else notice the snare keeping time with his toes during the quint break lol

  • i didnt know eric foreman played snare

  • The 12/8 section is awesome.

  • mega tilt

  • that is,of course, the most comfortable position to play any drums in

  • SCV wants them so bad probably lol

  • and of course they didn't do bass.

    which is what i needed.

  • @TrippleBuckBonus dynastys have different lugs

  • 0:55 (Marks Time With Toes) Haha

  • @CEHanner Dude hahaha after I read your comment I watched it and just seeing him alternating toe counts made my day XD

  • ⒷⒶⓁⓁⓈ ⓉⓄ ⓎⓄⓊ

  • @AceDrumm3r are sexy

  • bawls.

  • what kind of drums are those??

  • @Sfz0 snare and tenor

  • flip flops on the right FTW!

  • Anyone capable of lending the sheet music?

  • I wish you guys could do it with some bass players, our drumline is just begining to learn this cadence and I'd just like something to compare it to

  • 15 people marched the spock

  • This sounds awesome, and I love the tenor rolls at 1:28

  • snare can you make a video on how to play this

  • OMG the who ever is playin snare has really REALLY luse tek *my grammer sucks lol*

  • bro what school u guys 4rm??

  • @itsameale well they went to hinds community college in Raymond Ms. Now the snare drummer(Paul Morgan) is at Ole Miss( university of Mississippi) and Nick was playing with the troopers in 2007 then went to Phanton in 2008. now he is at Southern Mississippi. both of them are majoring in music education/percussion. i think.

  • @mrquick07 oo damn so these guys like in collage...i thought they where in high school or somthin.. they're hella good

  • @itsameale MISSISSPPI!!!

  • 0:53 DEM SCRAPES

  • Guy on snare good that u can play the notes but watch your right hand so much don't depend on all diddles to get through the flam section try close your back fingers and the exercise will be much more effective for you. And u missed a shot toward the beginning other wise very very good.

  • thumbs up for sexy 32nd notes at :39

  • you two should try double beat 9000

but very nice this helped me learn double beat on the tenors ..almost lol

  • wow yea exelent

  • dude great video. i converted it to an mp3 and put it on my ipod my friend and I are trying to learn it. well not learn it note for note but were trying to make something like it me on tenor and him on snare. im not a tenor player I only play like orchestra shit like those percussion instruments. but we got five toms so ill try my best. Were trying to mimic the double beat 2004 tho

  • Does anybody have tha hole score I'd like my drumline to play it lol

  • wow. you're as clean as our line. nice job. do you have a video of the whole line playing it?

  • @Reymys4 Lol, it does.

  • This my favorite video on youtube...

  • nice chops snare!

  • I think these guys played it better than SCV lmao.

  • @GuitargodJ its different when theres 1 person playing each part versus 5 people playing each part

  • @GuitargodJ How is this better than SCV? Its two people.

  • @GuitargodJ i think they are in SCV

  • @GuitargodJ Yes, but SCV has to get alot more tenors and snares clean, along with Basses. Not saying these guys didn't do good, (they did Awesome!) but SCV has to also work getting their lines clean.

  • Damn, you guys are sick!! Cleanest video i've foundof this besides scv themselves...

  • I play tenors and I'm a girl, I enjoy this video so much, I Watch it All the time and it gets me hyped haha :) I have different parts down and I almost have it all. Great chops.

  • @JordannZombiee i finally learned it on snare. took me and my friend a bit but we got it down. it's an amazing sound when two snares, a tenor and 4 basses got it down.

  • Nice Mandals

  • good but no bass -.- lol

  • I just cant get that tenor solo down >.<

  • Hey can someone with the sheet music for the snare part send it to me id like to learn this

  • @shooptube go to tapspace.com

  • is the tenor guy playing like straight up french grip...i thought it was much better to like use a hybrid between german and french

  • awesome

  • something tells me that you guys are scv fans

  • @Promark25 lol actually the tenor player marched tenors for phantom regiment.

  • @1580drums thanks man

  • love that hemiola at 110.

  • holy taps batman...

  • The tenor player french grips ....

  • yall go hard at 1:07 great job

  • you guys should make a SVC double beat 9000

  • I have always loved your guys vids. SCV all the way dudes.

  • i have the full score for this

  • Sheet music for snare, anyone? :X

  • I was asking PJMSnare04 if he could send me the sheet music, not you multicaleb21

  • @Drummergirlemw well i need the tenor music im preety sure that girl cant play tenors

  • @multicaleb21 im not saying for me to play tenors, its so i can get it for me and a friend. what makes you think girls can't play tenors?

  • @Drummergirlemw cause its very hard 2 find girls that play tenors

  • @multicaleb21 I wanted to try out for tenors and then i just tryed out for snare.

  • @Drummergirlemw ok go head and try out 4 snare hope you get it

  • @multicaleb21 I made snare(:

  • @Drummergirlemw kooooooolllllllllllll i got tenors im the 1st 8th grader 2 do that

  • sweet

  • Is there anyway you could email me the snare and tenor sheet music for this?

  • @Drummergirlemw yea add me 2

  • nick played this better than SCV's tenors

  • I cant tell if those are quads or quints but he is damn fast. Doesn't look like it even requires any effort from him and sounds tight and sharp. Both are good though.

  • @piratejack5150 you can tell it's sextets cuz of the way he postions his hands for spock drumming.

  • esta chido me gusto mucho por aqui me la aprendi

  • very nicely done. we play this at my school and i play tenors. very nice piece. tenor player seems to know his stuff. nice job to snare also

  • and nice pearl custom finsh

  • No bass line?

  • This is pretty fun. My school is doing it this year (my freshman year).

  • my high school is playing this and its pretty fun.

  • You guys wrecked this shit! Ill like to see how yall play now

  • Marching band music is one thing that I will never understand :P

  • dude are you going to ole miss now? and made center snare first year? lmfao. that ole miss vid looked like youre center.

  • I'm having trouble with the 32nd notes on tenors right before D, can anyone give me advice on how to play it?

  • awesome!

  • 0:16 seconds, i heard dut-dut-dut-dut to keep the beat so they can attack together. Nice Work Guys!!

  • around 0:55 the snare keeps beat with his toes :D

  • very good double beat !

  • i love this exercise but I hate it because it works out the right hand waayayyyyy too much. the kids at my skool wanna do it as a cadence

  • @Drummaster13 our school is doing it as a cadence

  • @palookaman2838 Ours too! Haha!

  • Got music for this?

  • google it. double beat 04 pdf i think

  • Wow you guys are really good. Im a learning tenor player, which means ive only been playing for about 6 months, but ive gotten so good in that time that our school is making me the first tenor player in the drumline :). I may get this because its so cool!

  • they make it look so easy

  • Anyone have cadences to trade?? I have the tenor solo book "Violent tenor cream" ill trade you for 2 cadences for a full solo!

  • ive got the full score for electric wheelchair if someone wants to trade for this. just send me a PM if interested

  • My favorite part of this piece is the 12/8 section. It's so cool sounding

  • I think they played this pretty well, but after hearing a full line, playing this without a bassline isn't worth it.

  • Bases???

  • sweet beat beat but extremely simple at the same time i like though

  • the snare player drags the tempo which cause the tenor player to drag, but during the tenor solo, he got the tempo back up, but then one the snare came back in, it started to drag again

  • come on dude thats really good technique you gotta admit.

  • ill trade w/ some one for this or 06, i have the full score to double beat 10

  • @percussivepurcell i have grevious groove 06. or krackus... and spicemon

  • dude those are cool friends!!! haha sweet video!

  • do u have sheet music for this?

  • lets trade, for which ever one you have, one that sounds good

  • hey can i have the sheet music for that

  • wat brand are those tennors?

  • pearl

  • Are those tenors Dynasty's?

  • pearl

  • u guys r good together. i like it.

  • I'm not going to lie, I HATE double beat 04. You two are great though. and excellent quality of sound

  • type in double beat. it's basically the same thing except for a few minor changes toward the end.

  • hehe he was marking time with his toes at :55

  • @flyinhawaiian124 lol yea saw it, good eyes

  • The snare drummer is good, but the tenor player is just simply amazing.

  • @Drum4YourCountry oh hell yeah the tenor player is amazing. he marched phantom regiment

  • I believe it.

  • lol inferno, those look like singles to me

  • At 1:53 were those singles...? cause if they are...holy shit...

  • Comment removed

  • YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, HOLY CRAP

  • And that's how that goes...Well done

  • the buzz rolls arent actually supposed to continue. scv plays it that way, but the music for this piece is played the way it is in the video.

  • Tenors should be tuned to a higher pitch

  • I don't really care for that much tilt on the snare. but that's just one guys opinion.

  • great for traditional

  • vanguard plays the four on drum two....
