aaahhh, I have 2 green quakers and 2 blue quakers and they do get territoral, but they have lots of affection definitely a quaker. I love your video he is just precious how he nods his head and gets excited good job!
Im about to get a bird and I dont know whether to get a quaker or a cockatiel. Someone Help!!! I hear that cockatiels are good whistlers and dont bite that much and like to be cuddled while quakers are good at learning tricks and talking but bite alot and can become territorial. I want to make sure that that is true. Please reply back, thx : )
I have had the exact opposite experience with birds. I have had 2 cockatiels that want to interact but not be cuddled. My 2 quakers are cuddly and want constant attention. I would be sure and use a reputable breeder instead of a pet store for sure. A quaker is a lot of bird in a little body. I think they're the best birds around. Kirby is my favorite bird out of 4. I also have a lovebird, cockatiel and an African Grey. I hope this helps you. Let me know what you decide to do :)
Quaker by far is ure best to go with talkative/ Interactive/ cudly / most inteligent / active / and attention gatherer is #2 on my list opposed to my Blue and gold Macaw RAWR he`s gangsta!!! but yea quakers own!!! over a cockatiel for sure i also have a lutino cockatiel. =) n a lovebird.
I have a Quaker and a Cockateel. My Cockateel follows the whole family everywhere we go in the house. She absolutely hates to be alone, grows very attached to the owner, and wants to be held alot.
My Quaker is still a baby, but I can tell he's pretty smart. He figures alot of things out by himself. When he bites, it doesn't really hurt; just teach him not to do it.
awww he was like cheering for himself when you got all excited for him :) how adorable
