only one or 2 of india's oldest locomotives still runs, but some of the engines in this video were actually british built

Yes, almost all the steam locomotives were made in london.

@CHR652 they wernt made in london, they were built in works all over the country, doncaster, crewe, swindon, the list goes on, they were sent over because other foriegn countrie's locomotives were too worn out and needed repair, so britain built and sent their own special type of locos called austaritie engines, specialy designed to run on poor quality of coal and badly maintained tracks

@trainlover658 That, and when Britain took over India, they built new railway services and engines, rolling stock etc for it. Some looked British, but they were also given that Indian look, like cowcatchers and big headlights and vented windows to open cabs :) (Thomas would've hated being Indian,with the cowcatchers and all!, WAIT! That gives me an idea for a picture l:P )
