i had trouble with joints for my full resin heavey arms custom ..... has to be still on the stand... even the arms could barley hold the guns.... so i just have it sort of hovering on a base... it was from S.M.S. sort of annoying to me... but over all i love the resin version of the heavy arms custom
wow i wonder what b-club was looking at when they started the heavyarms? it shoulder guards/shoulder missile launchers are so out of place compared to the anime or the 1/144 scale verison and that alone just throws the whole kits out and makes it look weird and makes me want to back away from wanting to buy one if i find it unlike the sandrock
out of the topic sir, i would like to ask., with regards to wing gundam ver ka, how did you fixed the holding of its riffle issue,,, i will appreciate it more if you show it in video... thanks so much vegeta :) its d 1st wing ver ka release
I remember Gundam action figures made out of a rubbery plastic and could really be played around with more than models. Does anyone remember what series of Gundam those where?
The missile hatches look way better on heavy arms now then on the original build video of it you did. I know the answer is probably yes, but did you order the resin 1/100 scale Leo? Placed my order and can't wait to get it.
@vegeta8259 I've seen you Spray Paint, do you also airbrush? If so, could you post a video? Because I'm thinking of buying one but i want to see if its too difficult. I've seen other videos but none really instruct.
I've looked through your WIP pictures on your Flickr and watched the video, though I haven't seen how the shoulder armor will be attached. Forgive me if I overlooked this, but will you be using the same "MSIA" feature as your Sandrock had three years ago or will it be something entirely new?
Aren't you worried that those knee and elbow joint will break over time? The pins are so close to the edge that it looks like it wouldn't be very strong. Then again, I've never worked with resin before, so I don't really know much of its strength.
Very, very awesome video. You do such a great job with your model kits. Thank you for doing these videos, it is fun to watch how your projects turn out. :-)
@MetalStorm909 Resin kits aren't too tough but there are added challenges relative to plastic kits: flaws in the casting process can leave air bubbles or part warping that may need to be dealt with... And if you're looking to have the model be poseable like a MG, you have other issues to contend with - specifically, the parts tend to be cast solid, which means no access to the inside to install joints, no place to put the joints, and heavy parts that can't be supported by the joints.
I found a resin wing zero tv ver online and its fixed posed so im goin to mod it like your sandrock and heavyarms to have decant poseability ...good tips man!!...just wondering though when you glued those ball joints into place, do they feel strong, like there not going to fall apart when you move the feel etc?
@Pablo944T There is a resin wing zero tv version for mg wing gundam zero custom (fully poon seable) by M.O.Project. However, it is like 120 usd on tatsuhobby
personally articulation isnt as important to me as the general looks of a model but in heavy arms case i think its awesome that the pods can open up now! nice job^^

Kinda worried in the knee/elbow joints because the pin is so thin. I suggest a thicker rod.

Also they where pre painted and put together in those cases you normally see action figures in not boxes

Be careful when you paint Heavyarm's leg missile pods. Because you don't wanna get paint all up in the tiny holes. :O

I would think some time down the line that all the TV versions of the Wing kits will come out in MG. They've already made a MG Wing Gundam TV ver. ^^
