  • good job of not fighting the horse when she resists a bit with the right hind

  • hey 2 for 2 on your video's. the dropping the foot thing drives me nuts. I have seen 95% of people profesional or otherwise just dropping their feet. nice position while holdiong them.

  • Thank you so much. I have a mare of my own and her hooves are getting in bad shape. This new information should help me keep her in better condition. :) Thank you again!

  • It is true that the horse would have to bring its leg all the way forward to kick straight out giving you enough time to move, but horses can also cow kick and it would be harder to get away from that so beware.

  • Thanks for posting this video, I'll be owning a horse soon, right now I am taking lessons. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can, I believe it is always good to have a little knowledge before you have to do it for real. lol

  • i wanna know if you have to train your horse to lift its hooves... please and thank you :)

  • @ShirouYuukiz

Yes, you do have to teach a horse to lift its hooves. Most do are taught as foals but some mature horses need to be reminded how to.

  • thankyou! helped me alot, especially as i wasn't too sure about the hind hooves :)

  • That is the MOST AMAZING HORSE EVER!!!

  • It is unsafe to go under the rope of a tied horse as it could startle and move forward and trap you in between the horse and what it is tied to.

  • Why is it important to not cross under the lead rope when the horse is tied?

  • thanks so much i am informed now!

  • You are so welcome and thank you for watching!
