Hi, I have tried several codes to unlock my java apps, i have a SGH-A156 samsung mobile...

*#9998*5282# Java Midlet Menu doesnt work for me, and neither does *#9998*4678255#...

Are there any other codes that ONLY activate the java control?? I have both the .jar and .jad files.. i just need to activate..

If i enter the codes mentioned above the error "incorrect data" pops up.

Please reply back, ive been looking for an answer for ages now

i don´t know what the codes for your phone.

but all samsungs i've saw, had the same codes to unlock the java aplication.

About the codes for unlock the jar and jad files, there no exist anyone. you just have to unlock the cellphone to install the games.

I tried a search with your phone model, but i cant find too.

I´ve downloaded a game and its in "other files". when i try to start the game it just says "unsupported file" what the hell is wrong with my phone then? Hello, that problem happens a lot with me too, i have to test many versions of the same game before the games run correctly. The problem is that, some games were made for some specific cellphones, so they probably don't work in others phones. I recommend you, to test the games before u put them in the phone, like using some software in your pc "mmoplayer is a good one". Bye.

To unlock the java application in your phone, type the code *#9998*4678255# (just like u were typing a dial number), this code unlock the java application to install the jad and jar games files (make sure u have locked your phone after the game installation "just typing the code again").

another problem.. i transormed a game * PES 2008 that is jar and has 324 Kb into a jad that has 1 kb.. and in my phone says java error ..strange

*PES I do not understand "this is the game name or the extension file".

However, the jad file is small like 1kb.

I have problems with many games too, sometimes the game does not work in our phone or the file is corrupted.

hi, follow these steps:

1 - You need the game in the java format (*.jar), find it in some sites or in the p2p netware.

2 - With the jar file, u make a jad file. The program to do this is easily found in google (jadmaker). Some games already come with the 2 files.

3 - unlock the java application in your phone. to do this, type the code is (just like u were typing a dial number)

*#9998*4678255#, this unlock the java to install games (make sure u lock the phone after the game instalation)

2 - You could download the game on the p2p share network (emule, bitcomet etc).

3 - Like i told, some files (jad and jar) can be corrupted, u just need find another one.

4 - my phone is a U600XXGG2, and since i bought it, he felt three times but the cell still works perfectly and the buttons still good looking.

5 - the code presented, is only to unlock the cellphone for java aplications, you need jad and jar files to install a game.

the code probably works with another samsung with the same software. YOU CAN SEE the softaware typing *#1234# and disable the java code using *#9998 *#9998*4678255#
