  • I use holes saws to do the same thing. If I have a small hole to patch I cut the damage out with a hole saw. Next cut a patch with a larger hole saw - 4" hole, 6" patch. Take the 6" patch and cut part way through with the 4" hole saw. Cut away the 1" perimeter drywall and you have a plug that fits with a 1" paper flange ready to mud.

  • Had your product mailed to me from Amazon. It was worth every penny! Made the repair in just a few minutes! Later that week I found your product at the Handyman Ace in Dayton. Bought two more and showed my dad how easy it was. GREAT product!

  • apicecream, I was thinking about user reviews like if you went to buy a electronic app. or other stuff, one gets the pros and cons, I happen to be in the building trades and like to see a customer get the best finish on a repair, maybe its just relative to what they want and if they dont know or care, I guess it wont hurt them.

  • I am glad you can make some money with it. I just got another laugh seeing the 'friend' looking at it to see if he can see the patch ( before painting ) Plugging things can be fun.

  • Now, where's my hole saw? Job done in half the time and with a lot less effort!

  • YES! Use a 3-7/8 hole saw, install the plug and your done with alot less effort!!!!

  • does that work on a door. the door is hallow. i punched it.

  • @aftaab007 a simple mastic is enough if it's on a a door. Of course if you can see thought the door forget the mastic, won't be enough.
