I only remember Pryzm Band when they sing at Shakey's Ermita? in early 90's (during my college year's), they also promote their album with "Sayang na Sayang" single at Eat Bulaga before.....just like the other said..Sayang Talaga..I only knew this vid's when I check Deligirl's site......

too bad.. ang tugtugan ngayun dito sa pinas is not about music. puro angas at porma na lang importante.. basta kayang kumadyot kadyot ng singer kahit alang boses , may gig , sa maganda pang lugar ha.. i have yet to see a decent band ngayun na kagaya ng 80's

d ko na alam kung cd o tugtug talaga yung naririnig ko kc puro techno.. kung sabagay trabaho na lang talaga sa iba ang pag tugtog. wala na ang artistry.

daniel; ur father was a great singer and i am a fan. honestly, i haven't see him perform live before, pero yung friend ko ay may recorded concert ng pryzm band sa tape when they perform in san nicholas batangas. during my college days, we just listen to it while reviewing. he was a good singer, maybe better than arnel. we adore his singing ability. great singer.

it's just so sad that some pinoy fans tend to look more on the outward appearance than the talent within. we have a lot of great talents who were not given the break due to some lame standards that have to be followed only to please the fans. i now live in Philadelphia and it's been a while since i've watched a really good show. there's this place here called, "the tower" it's a concert venue. how i wish i could see some of own top performers play a gig here one day.

Sila lang ang dalawang vocalista na tinitingala ko hangang ngayon walang makakapantay sa kanila. Nakakalungkot lang nagiiba na ang tugtugan dito sa pinas at bumababa ang kalidad ng banda ngayon di tulad ng dati na talagang plakahan. just my opinion...there are many many talented vocalists in the philippines that have not been recognized or discovered yet by the local media. it goes all back to 'who you know' and 'how you look'. this is too bad because there's so much talent back home that are 110 times better than the singers shown on the major networks such as gma or abs cbn.

in my opinion the two best all-time rock vocalists in the philippines. too bad in the '80s they were never given much of a chance to display their talents in the main stream (tv, radio etc.) except for arnel. even though, they never got the credit they deserved back then because of all the media politics. meaning you either had ties with someone in showbiz or be 'mestizo' or 'mestiza' to get recognized back then. too bad
