This game is nothing short of EPIC. On my top 10 All-time-Favorite list with out a doubt. Right along with other godly games like Fallout 2, Warcraft II, Ocarina of Time, etc. This is one of those games that I actually replay every so often and find myself loving it just as much as I did on my first play-through. The only thing I regret about this game was that they didn't have a versus mode...But then again, who am I to ask for perfection?

Flames of judgement is out now on PSN, it's Vandal Hearts 3. Haven't played it yet but I'll get around to it.  I remember getting the very first Vandal Hearts along with Suikoden 1...my life changed forever that day.

Don't buy VH: Flames of Judgment. It's utter crap. The difficulty level is so easy that there's reallly no need for any kind of stratergy. There are no classes, rather you get to tailor your characters, but this leaves them kind of unfocused and lacking any real personality. Asides from a few stages, every fight is the same old slug-fest with little variation. The graphics are ugly and reminicent of the 3d technology from the ps1 era and the art design is hidious.

The new Vandal Hearts is coming out, called Vandal Hearts Flames Of Judgement. It's probably going to be an upsetting game by the looks of it though..

On a side note my three favorite levels were saving the villagers from the statues, fighting the last key's battle with all of the crimson guard leaders, and dominating Kane right after with his own technique as a Vandalier. =)

Magic train was fun but no room to breathe. The last kane fight...scared the living shit out of me.

Favorite level has to be the prison break, and how hopeless it seems until reinforcements arive.

yea i did like the prison break one also and yeah when i first seen the last kane fight i was lyk holy shit lol. Too be honest i loved all the levels, the hard ones more so than the easy ones.

Like i loved killing all the crimson guards when they surround you and you aint sposed to lol

The mot underrated RPG of all time...part of that reason was FF7 was released closely to this game being released...vandal hearts is one of those games where u are hooked on as soon as you start..and the blood gushing from enemies was amazing..lol...and i have to admit the ending was tearful....ASHHHH!!!

The Basement Crew here in Las Vegas used to play this game for months duing the mid to late 90's. It was a benchmark memory for us all and the introduction song is as enchanting as ever.

When I first played this game, I was taken in by the intro song, from there on the story and characters where amazing!! Then ending brought tears to my eyes. One of the first games where the ending has left me wanting so much more.

Damn it, that almost made me cry...the memory's of this game are fun ones indeed...but I can't help but feel sad that it will just never be the same since I've come to find it rather simple compared to the first time where DEATH actually claimed me quite a few times...it's sad how you can jump into the fight after so long and STILL know exactly now to kill everyone in very little time, and get the keys to make the main character a god.

Well VH2 isn't bad but it doesn't hold up next to the original one. It seems they just tried to make the game longer and not focus on the over all story line.

The intro I'm not sure what she is blabbing but the ending soundtrack is Croation with a bit French mixed in there and I ball everytime I hear it. The ending soundtrack can be heard in "Vandal Hearts - Ending"
