The blue light that is seen coming from that object is exactly like what I have in one frame of a series of photos I took of the Earths shadow going across the moon a while back, when I zoomed in to the blue spot on the photo and brightened the image there can be seen an object that the blue light is coming from.

I have noticed the same "star", it rises in the southeast here in North Carolina and set in west/southwest. I cant smoke in my house so I go outside many times each night and lood at it alot. I have also looked at it thru binoculers, sry for spelling. but it doesn't apear to flicker like a star, I have looked ar star maps for the night I have looked at it. I am still not sure what it is, but its there brighter then ever. I have always been a star watcher, I just dont know whats up!

This is a really great capture! Others may call it the Blue Katchina or Maitreya. it looks like some kind of "opening". Weird that the blue part looks like it's behind the object and when there is blue there is almost no "twinkle". I love this footage, thansk!

Ok I seen this star planet in the northeast sky for 7 weeks now. I Didnt know what it was so I researched it on the computer. They said it was Venus and that venus would be very bright until June 7. I saw the same thing, except around 10:30 at night it was really dancing with colors,

shifitng from Red,blue, and white was the ones I noticed. If you noticed too, it was the only star out at that time as well. that happens here all the time now and looks even brighter than ever, here in Atlanta. 2012 getting close.

I use the sun obliteration technique, There are always "static" stars present. If you space your photos apart by 3 seconds, you will see the objects that come and go, and change position.

i have seen this, i had a video up of about 20 images of the sun using 7 different cameras, even video taped my self taking the pictures. this was in all of them. I know it was not a glare. On top of that i could spin every camera i had and the object would rotate in the camera letting me know for sure it was real. i live in virginia, i should repost the video.just got alot of hate mail though.

ok so I have taken some more time and nights to check things out. If it is not cloudy tomorrow night, I will be going to an area with better view. I figure I will be able to ONCE AND FOR ALL answer the question as to whether or not this is Venus. If it is, so be it. I just want to know for sure. With the vantage point view I plan to have, combined with worldwide telescope data on exactly where Venus is at the time, I will be abel to film it and PROVE OR DIS-PROVE the Venus factor.

Is the position constant? were you looking east west? i see something like this every day when its not cloudy, its visible coupple hours after sundown here just few clicks above the sun it has allways the same decline/position, (it stands out wery clear, only visible planet/star on the sky sometimes, looking N/W could be venus though, need a star scope to disprove/prove anything (more zoom) and less ''haze'' maybe at higher location, good to know someone looking up, keep it going
