  • @TheMarcussky You're very welcome! Thanks for checking out the vids. Excellent song, excellent movie too.

  • What is the song called that starts at 0:30?

  • @TheMarcussky "Ooh Child" {The Five Stairsteps}

  • I love the last words..."you want somethin, go get it...period." One of my favourite movies of all time.

  • This is a movie that couldnt have made with anyone else but Will Smith. He is an example that we should all follow and chris gardner also... My name is Ismael Jose Silva Iraola Am 25 years old and one day I will be capable of helping people... for now an advice to every one could be to ask them-selfs if thats all they can accomplish..

  • =) =) =) =)

  • will smith is the best actor.

  • This video is an inspiration to every1 starting from age 16 to above till u die n im one of the first to get inspired !

  • one of the producer of the movie is wife of will smith - so she is the mother of the kid - that is why he said she produced him (the kid) for us

  • "one of the producers, produce him for us," lol

  • I cried like every second in this movie.

my eyes were like blood shot by the end.

    I love will smith.

He's the BEST actor ever in my opinion.

  • I loved when he got the job, the tears in his eyes said it all

  • what was the song at the beginning of this clip?? anyone?

  • @laydeet3ase69: "Time" by Leigh Nash of Sixpence None The Richer ... :)

  • I laugh out loud at 2:06

Interviewer: "But the kid, where u find this guy?"

Will Smith: "Hey Man, listen, umm..the one of the producers, she produced him for us"

    WAKAKAKAK!

  • very nice movie...

the bathroom scene was the saddest part...

    :(

  • @jhaycriz21 yeah ,, very disappointing .

  • i love this movie

  • I don't get why SADDEST movie or something ....

    it's inspirational

  • because the guy and his kid suffered too much in a different kinda way and its so inspirational that it makes you kind of teary

  • 'of' a movie

  • This movie is one of the saddest, most inspirational movies ever. I lost count of how many times i cried watching this movie.

  • his laugh is contagious

  • this movie made me cry at the end

  • love this movie and i love will and his son...so cute

  • JI just watched this movie and it is a fovorite .

  • Not knocking this movie. it was fabulous. Will Smith made several scenes amazing. But, i only have thoughts about the other people who went through the same things as this guy, and have made it. What is it that is so special about Mr. Gardner that he is now some star? I am not knocking him at all. I just think he isn't the only person who has ever struggled severely.

  • no hes not but his story is really amazing

and when a story is good people want to make it into a movie

  • Well he might not be the only person who has stuggled severly in life - but he is one of the fewer people who got through it and made something of himself

  • Good point.

  • I see what you're saying, Mybeavy. I think that Mr. Gardner had the money and actually thought to make his story a movie after the fact. Of course others have made it the same way, but they probably did not have the ties or some other requirement to go make their story a movie. I guess what's special about him is that he went out and payed the dues for his life story to be produced in a movie. :) I don't know much about the big business of movie producing, but that is what comes to mind.

  • Maybe this film could represent all who have went down the same path as Chris.

  • so touching Movie!!

  • I think the most sad part is when he was in the bathroom

  • This movie was really inspiring and will smith was able to catch the emotions during all the scenes which really made me connect with the characters. The part that really got me was when he got the job and the man gave him his 5 dollars back.

Great movie. Everyone please see it

  • damn right .. i like it, the movie is perfectly well done. love it.

  • im watching the movie right now

  • didnt see one movie and...

  • Will Smith was absolutely amazing in this film.

  • Woooo! This is a Superb "real" Story, an eye-opener, inspirational and edifying movie. Great casts and I strongly salute Will Smith and his son, Jaden for their realistic, touching, compelling and an award-winning crafts.

  • I bought two VCDs for my collection for this movie is truly one of a kind. If anyone haven't watched this movie, please do so for you surely miss 3/4 of your life...

The real Chris Gardner is truly one of a kind (a very unique man). He is a very admirable amazing man; a tough resilient and an Intellegent gifted man.

Richness is not the main point for me here, it's how he was able to overcome his suffering, ordeal and obstacles along his journey, which is truly impressive and remarkable.

  • wtf have any of you watched the movie

its spelled "happyness" in the title because in the daycare his son was in it was spelled like that

    the real spelling is "happiness"

  • nah the dvd say HAPPINESS...

  • no it doesnt

  • i think that one mans story shouldnt steryotype the whole nation. every country has its own rags to riches story but you just dont hear about it.

  • America isn't perfect and there are so many rag-to-riches stories all over the world but it is the land with the quickest rebound path from underdog to top dog. The land of nonstop opportunity, that's why it's great and Chris Gardner is a shining example of it.

  • EliseNEmma - obviously in America they do teach us how to spell!

    *offense

  • offence is spelt this way in Australia

  • yeah Americans have a weird way of spelling English words.

  • Yeh I know, I'm English but we haven't changed.

  • the best movie!!! n its based on a real story!!!

  • BigEd - no offence but America is not the greatest country in the world

  • Yes it is, we have nukes, and were going to use them on Australia!

  • Yeah, because success stories don't exist outside America do they... slightly naive i believe!

  • The success of Chris Gardner shows why America is the greatest country in the world. Unfortunately, so many of its citizens don't appreciate the American Dream.

  • Looking forward to watching this movie now, can't wait!

  • hey u guys go check out my "the pursuit of happyness" video that I made!!! Peace!!!

  • FROM THIS MOVIE I LEARNED SO MUCH! i mean its changed me!

just knowing people actullay live there lives like that! now im MUCH MUCH greatful for wat i have and so should everybody else!

  • People like Chris Gardner deserve to be rich...it makes me mad watching some of these thug ass athletes make tons of money for not doing shit!

  • I love this it makes mee cry. Both Will Smith and Chris Garner are great dads.

such a amazing film. i love willsmith. :D.

  • Chris Gardner is a legend!

  • This is good! This movie makes me cry. Especially the bathroom scene when Will and his son was sleeping in there. I was once homeless and sleeping with my 4 year old in a cold building. My point is that my 4 year old said to me "Mommy this is not a house, I want to go home" Tears started falling from my eyes, I just hugged him and said, "Baby it's going to be alright." so I know exactly how he felt going through something like that.

  • walkem23, how are you doing now? Are you ok?

  • Yes we are ok. Thank you for asking. :-) I learned so much from that experience. The main thing is that you nenver know what somebody is going through, but whatever it is, you can make it out.

  • God has bless u

  • Yes HE has!! and I thank HIM for it. :-)

  • reminds me of momo zone

  • BEST MOVIE..AMFOOTAH!

  • will smith needs an oscar

  • Amazing, it´s worth it every minute!!!

  • movie was great

  • i love this movie!!

  • this movie is so great, i love it..
