  • ok when i do this i can keep myself from falling forward, but if i sart going backwards, i cant help it and fall back. i press back on the heels of my palms and bend me arms and it doesnt help. i aslo cannot seem to keep my back straight. i try to fix it as im holding it on a wall and it cant seem to. please help

  • breakdance handstand is better :]

  • People you don't have to do it like that. Move your legs around for mre balance. other than that you can keep your legs straight But it's all in the fingers and shoulders and your balance.

  • this is so stupid . .

he doing everithing wrong . .

  • i can do the handstand.. but im getting difficulties about keeping my body straight

  • I can do one but nit all the way just yet but according to my coach I'm doing better

  • I learnd this when i was 15 years and 65/70 kg, now i am 21 and 93 kg and i stil can do it like the best, i can walk non stop better than this guy., But what I wanna say is. learn it against the wall its easier how i dit it, its like cycling you wil never forget it

  • the second exercise is so hard!

  • #1 tip for handstands for people having trouble:

    ITS ALL IN THE FINGERS.

of course keeping your legs and hips up straight and vertical helps but once you get handstands you'll realize that fingers is what makes all the difference.

  • Very true

  • omg tht is so hard!!!!

  • it is very simply ;] serious :p pm me if u need help ;d

  • never mind i took a week im so lucky i have gymnastics =]

  • cant balance it....

  • Comment removed

  • nicely shown, i can do a handstand, just need to practice my balance.

    -Da Fish ☻

  • I don't think Gymnastics suits some guys. Its makes them look really feminine.

  • Thats because it was advanced for guys and seperate for girls.

  • you can train the handstand in front of a wall you should try to control your legs from the wall...sry my english is not the best^^

  • i rather use the breakdance method but its just me -.-

  • lol, breakdance method.. tell me about it.

  • for the walking on hands, check out my tutorial - just search my videos.

if you can hold the handstand for one minute near the wall, then you're capable to do it without the wall - there comes the handbalancing, which is quite difficult, and it took me over a year to have it under good control, but it's worth the effort

  • ur not suppost to arch your back

  • what muscles do u use when u do a hand stand ? my arms cant support my 6' 1" body ... i need to excersise those muscles

  • Im 6'4" and i can hold a handstand for around 2 minutes. Dont use your height as an excuse. Clearly its your weight.

  • wow thats amazing.... its not my weight my arms arent strong enough ..... actually they are now and i can hold it for about 13 seconds .... i know its not much but i will keep practicing

  • From my experience, everyone has slightly different techniques therefore you should play around with what feels right for you instead of trying to immitate someone elses. The key elements of a long lasting handstand are keeping your hips and feet inline above your head so your centre of mass is in a stable position, and to increase your stregnth in your wrists by doing frog stands for considerable lengths. Personally i do press ups and planches to condition my arms. Good luck with your training.

  • can anyone tell me if this video actually worked for them?

  • you should tuck your head in a little bit more

  • very usefull exercises ! it helps

  • ok just to let u kno, u should read the description. it clearly tells u that it is not the person who showed the vid.

  • Wow thats actually helpful.:)

  • thnx for the tips, io never thought about shifting the hands

    :) thnx

  • ¬¬ Lol

  • This is a very bad handstand! He's back is hollow he doesn't open his shoulders and he does, specially the jumping on hand exercise wrong!

It is easy to do a handstand like this but if you really want to learn a handstand this is not a good example!

  • ok so where i can find a good example for handstand??

  • Umm how long did you learn the handstand or how long is the usual time to learn the handstand?

  • 0:02

  • omg ya

  • i can do that it is just the balancing

  • very dificult to get down

    same here

  • Easy up, bad balance, fall down. My hands are capable of it but I just can't balance. Thanks for the tip! I hope I don't knee myself in the lip again!

  • lol, I have good balance, I just cant hand stand for some reason,

I gota get it down tho

  • if only we could trade skills... then I wouldn't need to kick my friend again.

  • Jmoney6977,

i mean i cant get in STRAIGHT up in the air. lol.

like, its kinda slanted. if that makes sense.

  • after u learn handsatnd u will understand trust me

  • Very good tutorial

  • i gave this the 100th rating

  • your old news 101 now nah im kidin thx for watching and rating

  • WRONG ~ Your fingers need to be spread out and bent in case you go over or incase you star to wobble

  • vibrams ??

  • Whats vibrams??

  • i think thats what the guy has on his feet in the video...i have a pair and i'll make a vid about them soon if want to seem them search five finger vibrams....on youtube and google because they have a websight...thats where i ordred mine from.

  • Thank You. I would love to see a video!

  • Very Nice! I like Tutorials with training tips and not just showing the performer how good he can do it.

  • iv been practicing for about 2 weeks and im almost there. a tip that has help me alot is 'bend the middle point of your fingers' itl help you to distribute the weight when going back and forth.

  • i could only do a long handstand when i havent done it in a while.then when i do it lots of times ....well nvm

  • That fast? Wow, you should put up a tutorial then. I wish I could learn how in less than a week, but I have to try to be patient.

  • hey, i learned and perfected a handstand in 2 months. now i can hold to minutes, but then i would have to stop or else my head would flood with blood.(laughter)

  • Keeping legs stick with each other doesnt help that much at the biginning, at first is better to bend em and balance. once u get some balance and stronger arms u start keeping em toghether

  • he has some very sexy forearms!!!

  • i got hurt at the low area of my palm, is that normal for a beginner??

  • yea ur hands sometimes hurt after doing a lot of handstands for a long time

  • are u american??

  • i used to attempt to do this but ince i fell on my neck and it really hurt. im ok now but i stopped trying. if u have any advise to avoid this please tell me!

  • i can stand thats all :(

  • wow, man, u can do a handstand realy well! U look really flexible!

  • Watch the Headstand King - he can do handstands too.

  • I am coming closer and closer to learning how to do a handstand.

  • It's cool. Bruce Lee believed much of his amazing upper body strength came from walking on his hands several minutes every day...

  • T_T i cant do a handstand~

  • no need like that, just keep pratice handwalk recently n u will get it^^

  • watching that was like watching an old movie. but without plot. and noise. and entertainment. and a reason to watch it.

  • then why are you watching?....and then commenting?

  • its kinda hard

  • your alignment is kind of bad... but then again most gymnasts have pretty bad handstand technique...

  • wen he does his handstand forward roll he jumps oon his handss how cool !!

  • Handstand is easy...hard when done on a small object. just kick up hard enough so you get balanced ... and breathe!

  • before i could do it but after a year i coudn't.

  • i tried putting foot weighs on my ancles, and it was easier to stand on your hands.

  • lockpicker, no but workingout/bbing does give u a boost for doing handstands and hows ur workout routine like? powerlifitng? 6-12 rep ranges ?

  • i weigh like 220lbs and i can do handstands for like really really long like 10+ seconds but after tht ur arms and head get sore from behind upside down lol

I do weights so maybe thts why my arms can hold up all tht weight?

  • bigger/stronger muscles = more natural balance

  • unless your really big you cant do it

  • uh...there are skinny 8 year old kids in my gym class who can do this and thensome.

  • ya lol if your gonna bail dont try and let relax your arms or anything just fall either way lol

  • ur lunge into a handstand is too short. make it longer to get more ballence

  • ofcoarse put ur promotional comment at the end

  • i dont have anywhere soft enough to practice this on T____T

  • learn how to roll then no worries. Hell, who cares? Just don't fall on your head. Its fun to smack on your back.

  • you mean a shoulder roll or a foward roll?

  • He's not trying to. He's showing u exercises to help u hold one.

  • thank you for this vid. the first exercise has been most helpful in increasing my handstand time. you dont have a planche tutorial do you?

  • Nice ass.

  • thank you for this

  • cool

  • Hey man, I was self taught, and I used your first step, it def is the most important, I always tell people just to practice under rotating rather than going for it right off, cause then you over-rotate, nice video, def should help people

  • please rate my handstand

  • Practice...a LOT.Handstand is all about practice, basicly like you learned to walk on your feet all over again.

To have it down good you need years of practice. Then you'll want the 1 handed:D

  • definitively, the legs are stronger than the arms

    very good exercise

  • do u have to lift with ur right leg or can u do it with ur left?

  • do it with wat feels right it doesnt really matter

  • o.O that looks hard....

  • I cant hold my handstand 4 that long either!! Only about three secs....that sux dont it? =)

  • oh ok it is so easy :)

  • does anyone have any tips on the handstand i can just stay for some seconds but i wanna really STAND for atleast 30 seconds or i dunno

  • train and practice

  • wow so simple il think of some thing and get back to you k?

  • he makes them look, oh, so easy!!

  • awesome. maybe i can do that someday

  • Have a real coach to fix your handstand before you teach others. But it's better than drink and drive. Keep it going.

  • I dont need to do those practices i do them enough tying to do the handstand....

  • i have learnt how to handstand, juggle, ride a skateboard (ollie and kickflip), ride a bike with no hands, (and bunny hop and wheelie), ride a unicycle, and blow smoke rings all from watching youtube.

I also learn't how to make a potato cannon, and how to drive a manual car.

I can make toast pretty good too, but i didn't laern that from youtube.

  • hahaha. thts prettty funny. i learnt to do loadsa these thinga on youtube too. i learnt unicycle tricks and skatebvoarding tricks manual on a bmx and juggling tricks!!!!

  • yes I have heard that best way to do the handstand is not looking at the ground and looking forward, it's harder but it is better for you and allows you to breathe and puts less stress on your neck.

your handstand is really good though.

  • lol mandapanda mate... i learnt a front flip from watching youtube .. a handstand is way way easier

  • shouldnt he be looking backwards.... not arching his neck at the ground... at least thats what i was taught.

  • im not really sure, cause i just do what ever feels right, but that makes sense i'll try that next time

  • well good! im gona have to try some of those excersizes

  • thanks man

  • branleh.
