I love the comment "Oh my God, Glen has shoes on!"
This is one of those songs that had a certain special meaning when it first came out, but seems to have reached a different kind of profound depth years later. "Again we fail, to make amends. Mend our ways, between intents. Looking back, not moving on," more powerful in my late 30s than my early 20s.
Wow! You made my day seeing this Great band - so tight and sounding so good. Great lyrics - this song and so many others. Seen them several times throughout the years and always makes me dance and sing. Glenn, Dean, Todd and Randy - you guys can jam - on a small studio stage like above to the a bigger stages like House of Blues and beyond.
wish philly radio stations actually did this over 10 years ago....Y100 sucked when it came to playing Toad.... ... Y100 never played Toad during the day time....only during the late nights when infomercials rules TV. They played Come Down & Whatever I Fear once, never again.... and they had the balls to "host" the show during the Coil tour, and never played Toad leading up to the concert in order to promote them....
*-* the best!!

I've always loved Toad the Wet Sprocket. But listening to them now a lot of the songs sound depressing. Make some happier sounding songs Toad.

Ive noticed when they play this song, its in different chords than the studio recording. Kinda dissapoints me but this is still great.

I am so glad to see this put up. Thank you Jonas! This is a gem. I posted this on my forum, the Multiplex, at Delphforums.

kind of, they are just slip on, plastic sandels, he would kick them off every night on stage, must have slipped his mind that day.

Funny. Glen and the boys getting together again. My favorite band. Only been to 2 Glen shows and 0 Toad concerts. Hope they'll be around for years.
