  • @metlfreak1 Yes

  • well soapyman you have no idea what it takes to throw a rod in a lt1 or any 350 do ya... as long as your air/fuel is s you can bomb these engines with 150 shots all day... its when you drop fuel p or don't change the oil you run into probs- whiteboy jparkerz28

  • did you tune the computer when you changed the cam, if so where? thanks

  • @HOTRODRICO Tuned it myself with Tunercats. Unless you're gonna do it often I'd go with Bryan Herter of pcmforless.

  • do u live in philly becuz i c alot of caprices n impalas n in otha videos n they b up near old york road

  • wuld it sound different if u had bigger tips or had the pipes behind the bumber

  • @leebert9891 Bigger tips make it just a little louder but not much, by the bumper it's a little quieter in the car.

  • @0:45 I honestly think I jizzed all over myself. That's amazing! I love the iroc wheels as well. VERY NICE TOUCH!

  • very nice SS impala....great ride.

  • ahahaha very nice

  • god dammmmmmmmm

  • Would it give the same sound to my 2002 stock Impala?

  • nice sound. not so sure about the tip location though, you might get some hot rubber on them haha

  • @thc3636 I learned that... but if I put them by the bumper I'll scrape, so it's a trade off. I like the sound more on the side too.

  • @jelaten for sure. Nice SS I got a 94 z28 with the LT1......love that motor.

  • Damn! that sounds hot.

  • sounds good

  • of course its an impala, anyone with half a brain could recognise that, o and love the license plate

  • Yes, it is a damn Impala SS.

  • @jelaten hey man any idea what kind of #'s your imp is puttin to the ground with that setup? My plan is to have a setup just like yours on my impala, minus the tri-y's (gotta love california).

  • yes it is jack ass

  • Nice sound. What cam are you running. Do you notice much improvement down low? might want to do my Impala

  • It's really night and day. Pulls much harder from a stop and midrange torque is much better. The 845 cam isn't about top end but still pulls harder than stock up top too. Good all around cam for a street car.

  • yo 350, its kane. you should put a vid of her now with the blower. thats a sexy Imp...

  • what kind and how big of rims are those?

  • 20x9 Irocs

  • actually the lt1 has a lot of significant changes from the old engine. like rerouted water jackets and a reverse cooling system. the heads wont even interchange,,,,just some facts, though of course the ls engine is more refined.....it is newer

  • k but u get my point. Fact is, the Lt1 is alot less unchanged compared to the LS motors. The LSx motors are alot more refined and almost a clean sheet design compared to the LT1. LT1 intakes and Gen 2 small block intakes interchange if im not mistaken.

  • LT1 is a Gen II motor. Heads and intake manifold are not interchangeable between Gen I and LT1 SBC's. Like bigmax88 states, there are quite a few differences like the reverse flow cooling, unique heads and intake manifold, higher compression, etc.

  • so is the TBI motor thats in the pre '96 K1500's and Suburbans and Tahoes also a Gen 2? What designated the GEn 3?

  • TBI isn't Gen 2. What makes a Gen 2 is reverse cooling, only used on the LT1 and LT4, it was never in trucks, just B/D/F/Y bodies from 92 to 97. Gen 3 is the LS motors, basically a whole new design over the original small block.

  • so what are all the Gen 2 SBC's? and all SBC's after the intro of the LS1 are Gen 3's?

  • Like jelaten said, TBI was still Gen I. Gen II (LT-based) only came in Camaro/Firebird, Impala/Roadmaster/Caprice/Fleetwood, and Corvette. The rotating assemblies are interchangeable although the LT crank was balanced for the lightweight powered metal rods and hyperutectic pistons in the LT motors. Reverse flow cooling is unique to the LT motors and as a result, no water flows through the intake manifold unlike Gen 1 motors.

  • love the side tips man

  • how much you want for that hahaha

  • cant be ur car, bump revving is evil

  • numbers are close to this one

    · Crane 109621 214 222 498 509 520 542 112

498 509 are with 1.5 rocker and 520 542 are with 1.6 ratio nice cam any way

  • What grind of cam do you have? And what are the numbers on intake&exhaust?

  • 214/222 duration, 112 LSA, .510/.543 lift with 1.6 rockers

    Good question!

  • thats so hot, i love the exsauhst finshing....i love ur ride, sweet rims, sweet aggrasive voice,.,.,.but why u putting caprice tail lights? is ur car orgianly a caprice and u convert it to an Impala?

  • It's a real SS, I just like the Caprice tails more. I got a new set that's sprayed even darker. Thanks for the compliments man.

  • Nice!! i love the rims they remind me of my 86 IROC. NOT feeling the caprice brake lights, i'm not sure why a lot of people switch them out. Clean ride sounds great.

  • oh yea!!! lets show just how cool we are by bouncing it off the rev limiter...

  • what kind of wheels are those they look really good on your imp

  • 20" Irocs from Factory Reproductions

  • i love that engine note, chevys rule
