Amy M.s lyrics are very good actually. They range from "very true" like here to GREAT poetry like in "Run" or "Somebody new" (others may add to the list). and of course, the voice: it improves the lyrics greatly, although on a disco version you don't hear it so well because of the sound treatment. try going to one of her gigs...
