i love this movie! only saw it once when i was little, but remembered it all these years.

had no idea it was based on a book/true story. hope to read the book soon - my college library has a copy. really want to see how it differs from the book. read somewhere that the real-life Sonora was extremely disappointed with the way the movie turned out - said it was almost nothing like the way her life really happened.

I love this film, it's beautifully made and my whole family watch it and are glued to it! It's quite dark on here (but thanks for it) the dvd is a lot lighter. What a brave girl Sonora was :)
