the roots never get dry. and the hair is too wet it takes too long blow dry about half dry then pull out the brush. clients cant do this. this is old school Beautician techniques. the biggest problem is stylists don't see the clients point of view.
Something else to point out is that this method of blow drying can cut out alot of straightening too! I used to just blow my hair without sectioning or using a barrel brush and it left my hair looking poofy and I had to striaghten it immediatley after which is very damaging. This way helps tame it a lot while giving volvume at the same time.
I love your videos and I know you let us make requests on video styles and how tos. I would like to c one on highlighting with foils or hair straightening by a straightening product. If not, it's cool:)
One tip I would advise is to not style this kind of blow out every single day at a salon. Your hair is at its most weakest point when your scalp is wet, so any teasing or a lot of brushing will def hurt it( w/o u even thinkng that it hurts). Put on the product(s) first, and in a bow position blow dry your hair in all directions. Once it's half dry, use a big round brush :) xoxo frm sacramento
Is there a way to get layered hair to look like it was in thick strands to add texture? I have straight, very layered hair and I want to style it that way. Can't find anything on it.
@HollyTheFireNinja Oh yeah I already have very thick hair so I don't need it volumized further. :p Just looking to see how I could get it look like it was in strands, like it was brushed through with a wide-toothed comb and the thick locks of hair stayed that way...
@MkGCHILLA123 if your hair is too thick then it will be hard to do, you would need to get a haircut that will thin your hair out a bit and give you layers. In order to make it look thick and full is to thin most of the hair on the top and getting layers (the shorter the layers the more volumous it will look.) hope it makes sense lol
Will videohairstyles be doing a how to video for a good hair straightener? I'd like to see a model with super thick, course hair like mine is :) It takes so many passes to get mine done. I think I need a new straightener!
I love how he's a total guy about his tools and describes the power of his blow driers.

You worked really hard blow drying. Why would you go and run your hands through it and take most of the volume out of it?
