Many of you know that this song initially started out as a 3/4 "waltz" on electric guitars and eventually becoming the acoustic (for the most part) ballad in 4/4 giving it that poignant feel. I wonder if it was George Martin who brilliantly suggested the change or if it was one of the Beatles? Anyone know?

I just love reading what all the young teens out there have to say! I was 12 when I started purchasing their music, which was on vinyl so that gives you an idea of how long ago it was~hint, early 70's, and I am STILL so much in love with this band and STILL listening to their music (daily).
