  • I love these dogs and love the Staffordshire pit bull too - have never ever met a bad one, just shitty owners and only one or two of those x

  • @benjesolems Just a few weeks back over in Harris County Texas a young couple lost their infant to their family Pit bull dog. We really should call them up and tell them they were "shitty" because they didn't leap fast enough when their family "teddy bear" made his move and killed that infant. I agree that there are bad owners, but sometimes they are only guilty of being IGNORANT as to what they bought. A five pound dog could go nuts too, but never be CAPABLE of that tragedy.

  • I have a true APBT and I always am told that he is not a pitbull at all because he is too tall and he has too long of a snout! I just laugh at the ignorance. He's the best dog I have ever had.

  • No dog should be left alone wth a child...ever. I have been bitten by cocker Spaniels, chihuahuas, collies, and even the infamous German Shepherd. I have not been bitten by my APBT. That does not mean I put my guard down with ANY ANIMAL! From guinea pigs to quarter horses...THEY ALL BITE! Familiarize yourself and gain knowledge. Do not allow the animal to have the upper paw. Train and take care, we are not Beastmasters,

  • God I hate these backyard breeders creating these big, fat, ugly dogs that look like hippos! They are bred for money and for fighting. Nothing else.

  • I don't think I have heard of too many people confusing a lab with a pit bull terrier. That is ridiculous

  • @MrsMusicalMe

Happens all the time. I have a cinnamon fawn APBT foster dog. He is REGULARLY confused for a lab. He looks nothing like a lab if you are familiar with either breed. I even had a lady that supposedly breeds labs argue this point with me. Many people can't identify dog breeds as well as they'd like to think.

  • @MrsMusicalMe Our local ranger didnt buy it when i said she's a lab mix.

  • I don't think I have heard of too many people confusing a lab with a pit bull terrier

  • ONE OF THE SWEETEST, MOST AFFECTIONATE DOGS I KNOW, IS A BLACK AND WHITE AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIER. HE HAS A LITTLE WHITE ON HIS FACE, DOWN HIS CHEST, LIKE A NECKTIE, ON HIS PAWS----AND HE IS A WONDERFUL COMPANION. HE LOVES BEING KISSED, AND HE LAYS DOWN, AND FREEZES STILL, SO I CAN KISS HIM. HE HAS A WONDERFUL PERSONALITY, AND IS VERY GENTLE, TAKING FOOD, FROM YOU. AMER PITBULL TERRIERS ARE LIKE ANY BREED---IT'S HOW YOU TREAT AND TRAIN THEM. AND HE HAS SUCH A HANDSOME FACE. I LOVE HIM.

  • I tried to tell people all the time that there is a difference thank you for making a video :)

  • LOL ive had my hungarian Vizslas as well as Pharaoh hounds called PIT BULLS all because theya re tan or red with a self coloured nose, we have amstafs and pharaohs and lakies and of all the lakies put the amstafs in their place, sorry DEED NOT BREED, great video please give yourself a pat on the back from us here

  • Lovely video. While the argument going on above me is quite humorus; I agree with @MolosserKing. If I breed a APBT to a Mastiff, I know have a APBT/Mastiff mix. A MUTT. Sure, the offspring may have some characteristics of both the parents, maybe even more of one than the other depending how the genes set. Purebreeds have been bred for GENERATIONS to have the characteristics that they do. And with reputable, responsible breeders, the bloodline is PURE. Mixing two different breeds creates a MUTT.

  • this vid made my day. Fun fact, (idk if he still is) but the number one drug sniffing dog in the USA is a pit :D names popscicle (they found him near dead in a freezer after a drug raid)

  • Already knew this but loved the video. I prefer my bully to my pure bred at times. But my pure is my laid back sweaty my bully is a beast. Either way. I wouldn't own any other dogs!!!

  • This video used to have different music. It was a hip hop beat does anyone know what it was called? Thanks in advance.

  • @MolosserKing - thanks for taking your time to make this video. This will make people have a clear perception on what a TRUE, Authentic AMPBT is...

  • I think the AM.Bully and AM.Staff are commonly mistaken as the AMPBT. But how the hell are people able to confuse AMPBT with french/bullmastiff, retriever/lab, neapolitan mastiff, boxer???? Errrrr.... "HELLO?!!!"

  • i think i can tell the difference between a Neapolitan Mastiff and a Pitbull lol

  • I like the video. The only problem I have is finding a reputable breeder that actually breeds APBT's they way thy are supposed to. Every Kennel I've come across breeds for size or color. Man, I wish Jamie Long was still around.

  • This video was very informative. Kinda wish you would have mentioned other options other than breeding to get a dog. There are more dogs than people right now anyway. Shelters need help.

  • Yup. This person is correct. In my dogs videos, sometimes people confuse him with the TRUE apbt. He is in fact a mix of apbt and yellow lab. His fur is not the correct texture and his weight is above what is allowed as breed standard. Apbt are GREAT dogs and we adopt only them and their mixes because they get destroyed in shelters. Say NO to BSL! Save the Apbt!

  • Thank you to the poster of this video.. even though i personally like most of the mentioned dogs this is something all of the "blue" and "red nose" owners should understand

  • The people who have been gripped by the hysteria that pitt bulls are terrible, viscious dogs are the same blind, follow the leader and jump on the band wagon people who would have followed Hitler and executed Jews because their moral compass is broken and cannot think for themselves. They fall in love with whatever society and media tells them is the flavor of the week. They take up a cause because they are told to, not because they believe in it, and then fight for it. Pathetic.

  • "Pit bull" bites someone while playing: "OMG, IM GONNA DIE!!!"

golden retriever bites someone hard enough to make thm bleed: "aww, its ok, hre doesnt know better! i'll just go get 5 or 10 stitches, i'll be fine" who wants to bet there have been hundreds of retriever bites unreported because they are the new "America's dog"? what happened to APBT's being AMERICAS dog!? Does NO ONE remember Petey!??

  • I couldn't agree more...

  • @MolosserKing thank you SOSOSSOSO much :) i just rescued a pitbull from a pound and she is so sweet! everybody says thats not a pit or its mixed but ive said nope its a pit terrier once again THANK YOU

  • Thanks for all the info, I thought a pit bull was a pit bull, period, until I saw this. I wasn't aware that there are so many breeds that people mixed up, I knew pitbull by their colors, thinking they were breeds, brindle, red, blue, reverse brindle, so on and so forth, I feel smarter having watched this, twice :P

  • Very nice video. Growing up, I was always told that pitbulls were one of the most aggressive/dangerous type of dog. A couple years back I met owners of two pitbulls. Surely they were nice people, and the dogs were well behaved and very friendly. Surely the behavior of the owner reflected the dog's behavior. That just goes to show that there's no such thing as a "bad dog", there's just bad owners.

  • I knew the difference, and I'm 13. Now, not all bullies are mean, though they still scare me. They're HUGE. Like dogs on steroids. I love APBTs. Im going to get one when im an adult.

  • I know personally that they are good companions and gentle and loving as any well treated dog can be. I have a beautiful female Pit layin beside me as I type this. She gets along well with my little 20lb spitz. I have absolutley no use for people who abuse the dogs and hope they get the message somehow. I doubt they ever will. I have no fear of them and I am female btw. I love all dogs and cats also.

  • Very informative. I learned a lot. Thank you.

  • yea the rottie has more bite power but think about the size difrence to think that the pit would have more is ludacris the argument by many is the pit has pound for pound the strongest bite ( avg. rotties 95- 135 pound, avg. pittbulls 22-65 pounds) and most of ur pit pictures wer of small pits i have a 35 pound pit who looks like the ones u showed while my neighbor has a 55 pound pit who looks like the stereo-typical pit

  • thank you so much for this vid.

  • seriously, confuse a lab for an APBT? ok... I used to have one that we adopted from a shelter, although she was taller than the normal terrier she was built just like one. We loved her so much. I love them! thanks for the video.

  • Good stuff. I'm gonna watch this a few more times.

  • GREAT video.

  • I have people ask me if my Boxer is a Pit all the time it's really funny since the only *slight* similarity in the two breeds is the head shape and that's only really noticeable when she has her mouth open. Silly people

  • If people are seriously confusing Labs and Neopalitan Mastiffs with Pitbulls than the CDC really needs to re think there statistics....

  • thank you for posting this molesserking. this has helped change minds.

  • Ops hit send to early my last comment should end like there called aggressive

  • The media hypes up dogs like this some of these dogs are aggressive because of mistreatment and all of the sudden bam

  • Hey I just want to say thanks for this I'm glad there are people who agree with me.I grew up with these dogs in the late 80s & early 90s and if a male was more than 50 lbs it was called an abomination. I just wish breeders would tell the truth that they did mix in other bull breeds to get different traits.

  • Very informative. Thanks for the distinction. My 'pit bull' may or may not be an APBT and something tells me he's a mix of AmStaff and APBT. But to look at him you'd absolutely categorize him, based solely on his appearance, as an American Pit Bull Terrier. He weighs 75 pounds but is NOT obese by an stretch of the imagination. No matter what he is he represents pit bulls well; as his owner I have seen to that. He is an ambassador for pit bulls everywhere. Keep up informing people!

  • Great breed. Great Video...educational indeed!!

  • actually the the breed originates from imagrants from england bringing staffordshire bull terriers with them and mixing them with larger american bull breeds (the dog the romans used was ifact the extinct relative of the cane corso

and the us kennel club introduced the amstaff as a singular example of the ampb

and it still retains the name of the base dog the staffordshire bull terrier

    (staff breeder)

  • I get so pissed off when people tell my my pits are to small, cause my female is 34lbs and my boy is 55lbs.... THEY ARE THE WEIGHT THEY SHOULD BE!

    argh.

  • the first picture you showed looks almost like my APBT

  • showing dogs isn't doing the dog any good it's all for the owner, however the pre show training is great for the dog as it helps build confidence and encourages keeping the dog fit, which all owners should do anyway.

  • For when it comes to it. An American Pit Bull Terrier was commonly known as the bull terrier. For what most people don't know is that pit was just thrown in the middle of it in 1886. When the romans Brought the American Pit Bull Terrier as we know2day. For when the romans they put them in the arena's. There was only one arena they could go to. It was called the pit. They put them down their to kill rats. 4 when they killed the most rats they were known Right then they put pit in the terriersname

  • I am a 100% w/u. The APBT as a breed is nearly gone & with all that back yard breeding it may actually get extinct. Those breeders go 4looks (bulkier, shorter, heavier, "exotic") not performance - by performance I don't mean weight pulling & such; but health & working traits that these dogs r supposed 2have since they belong 2the terrier family as u point out. I have 1 APBT & often ppl say 2me that he must be mixd cuz he's "small" & lean. I don't bother 2explain, but glad u posted this vid ;)

  • I don't doubt that there are mixed breeds. But not all bigger specimens are results of cross breeding. That's all I was saying.

  • While you're correct about what the "apbt" was when it started out. You're wrong about what it is today. Fact is these "pitbulls" or "bullies" are decendants bred for the qualities that you claim ban them from being "true". Just because they're bigger & stronger than when the first originated does not make them any less "apbt". In addition you're entirely wrong about breeders & they're ways of operation. Yeah there are some shitty breeders. But you'll have that with any type of the animal.

  • @masterofmany While your right about the breeding ethics, ( You said what I said, so I agree. ), if I breed a Border Collie to an Australian Shepherd for whatever reason, that does not make those puppies Border Collies, it makes them mutts. Border Collie mixes. The same apply here.... when you mix an APBT to another Bully breed to add strength etc, its no longer an APBT, its now an APBT MIX.

    -MolosserKing

  • @masterofmany - The Bullies, as they are called, are backyard bred by dumbasses who think the bigger and scarier it looks, the more money they are worth. Thos large, muscular dogs are more or less mutts, mixed with larger dogs for that menacing look. The TRUE APBT is no more than 65 lbs. If they are larger they are considered obese or a mutt. And a TRUE APBT would destroy the Bullie, because of their pound for pound strength and agility. They never say die!!!God Bless The APBT.

  • @masterofmany yes it does make them LESS of an APBT... they arent even portioned right!!! RE WATCH THE VIDEO AND LEARN SOMETHING!!! She told you the facts on how to spot a B.Y.B.......She said how to spot a real GOOD breeder. GO ADOPT A DOG...they will be just as PURE BRED AS THESE BULLIES THAT YOU SO CALL "PITBULLS"

  • i no im tierd of ppl giving these breeds a bad rep man its how u raise them

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THE ABPT!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, you forgot the Staffordshire Bull terrier...many confuse them with being APBT as well...I know cuz I have a Staffordshire, I walk him everyday and get the ' is that a Pitbull question"...

  • I have an APBT and an American Bulldog. Both are the sweetest and most loving dogs ever. Its unbelievable how some people out there judge them as if they were dangerous. Whats worst is some people actually come up to me and insist I should fight my dogs. That makes me sick.

  • its a sin to see people run away drom these dogs for no reason, they dont mean to be scary, if a dog is attacking you, the owner probly trained him to do it, dogs are just animal from heaven, and they dont mean to hurt people

  • @nroland99 Dogs were created to work for/with humans... they would die to perform for us. In other words, I agree, they can only be how they were raised, they only know what they know. Teach them.

Dogs were originally bred from wolves and such.

    ~Molosser King-Spell dog back wards.

  • @nroland99 I guess my friend taught his dog to try and eat his baby? i guess my neighbor trained his dog to attack his niece? both of them got bit on the face by pitbulls that were trained and raised and socialized properly. But that pitbull in them just went yum baby meat! its sick people dedicate so much time for a breed that is so prone to attacking randomly. its a waste of time to even say this b,c all pit owners say is o he wusnt raised right!

  • @bobwatters This is the situation. Many people that think they are raising their dog correctly probably are not. Dogs are pack animals. Lots of people treat them as if they are "just a part of the family" which is not good. Dogs, like children need rules, boundaries and limitations. APBTs were bred specifically to work with and for humans, and to be able to stand in the pit with their humans - so their people had instant and complete control. You should do research on dogs and open you're eyes.

  • I miss my pbt RIP TOPAZ.

  • I have had Argentinean Dogos and American Pitbulls and with all due respect, Dogos are by far bigger, stronger and smarter dogs. They are smart, they can protect but when they go to the wrong hands things could easily go wrong. Dogos Argentino in my opinion are THE BEST DOGS ever created!!!!!

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow

Obama's an empty suit and the worst president in U.S. history surpassing Jimmy Carter. He's been exposed for what he really is. If I were you, I wouldn't be so proud to display that name of yours.

  • Nice vid! How do people confuse the masstiff and labrador to a pit bull! With my black lab people ask if he is part pit due to his appearnce but he is labrador mabey wih 2 % pit! I have vids if you want to look. also have a vid of deiseil my love bug lol.

  • this info is right on the nose your right am bullys or not apbt there a mixed breed but fare from a mutt mutts are dogs that or not papered and cant show a pedigree or bloodline but the bullys can although there considered a apbt buy the registration they really do need there own style but as for now there do not have one and that is wrong to under go a dog by saying something it is not you can call them mutts all you wont but the fact is there going to be around for a long time to come.

  • My Dad had a pair of American Staffies when I was in my teens and they were the sweetest dogs. And people always called them Pitbulls.

  • I am on TEAM MOLOSSER or TEAM PIT BULL whatever you want to call it. If you can handle these dogs, they are the best dog you will ever own. They will hang the moon for you. Treat them w the respect they deserve and you will get it 100X back. Molossers are the best!! I love my cane corso with all my heart because he has a heart of gold. They all have it ppl just need to understand them. it breaks my heart the fact that ppl dont understand them. they are here for us and we are here for them.

  • @4981BDP that is bs sorry to hear of the laws in your city that sucks a dog is trained only to do what the trainer teaches it. people need to realize that and quit blaming the breed for the owners neglect and most people dont need to own a pitbull if they allow it to fight or be aggressive to people pitbulls are not human biters even back in the day when they were fought they didnt just randomly bite people because the owner of the dog was in the ring while they fought

  • I've never heard of someone confusing a Dogue De Bordeaux with an American Pit Bull Terrier. I have an APBT/Bull Mastiff mix, and she's absolutely perfect for me. I like the way the Pit looks, but I don't like the size, to small. My girl is 103 pounds and has the look of a Pit Bull, but is large and muscular and is far from looking like the Am. Bully. It's good to see a video that can actually distinguish the American Bully from the ABPT though, I hate when people get it wrong. Good job :)

  • @ItsAnAllusion I know, many of these should never be confused with an APBT, but it happens =)

  • This all true.Great video.

  • Thank you for this video, it is fantastic! I currently own a APBT and he is the best dog I have ever owned. I currently live in a city where pit bulls are banned. Rosco, my dog, was grandfathered in, however I now have to carry $250,000 worth in liability insurance on him and had to build a 10 foot fence just to keep him. Also, I had to get him neutered at the age of 8 yrs. And I'm supposed to put a muzzle on him & have two leashes & two collars on him when he is outdoors. People are ignorant

  • good video, very factual. I have a 4yr old APBT and he is the best dog iv ever owned. I grew up around bulls my dad had 2 Staff's, there just the most amazing, caring affectionate, loyal breed you can own. There not for everyone, they take a lot of time and commitment to raise properly. If anyone wants to see my boy google (combat Kennels) his name is Tony.

  • I appreciate what you are trying to do with this video but some of your info is wrong. American Pit Bull Terrier's are a breed and are registered with the UKC and ADBA. American Bullies are also a breed that any PitBull or AmStaff can be duel registered with through the ABKC. Not all American Bully breeders are backyard breeders or irresponsible just because they breed a different style of APBT, many breed for correctness, health and temperment with lengthy puppy contracts and ethical practices.

  • Dogos. I looove that breed, But I still prefer my APBT

  • the dog in the thumbnail aint no pit its a mutant lol

  • ive got a staffie, and people still show ignorance towards him,he,s a proper good friend, along with the pits there the best dog out there.

  • THANK YOU for this video. I really enjoyed it and it did helped me understand more about the one I had ( lost her to cancer ) and the one I have now. A sweet heart that I love way to much ...Cheyenne Babygirl Walker....See her in Pit Bull Water Sports. Anyway Thank YOU , the video was very well done. :-)

  • Stupid people should not own pitbulls!

  • It's about time someone set the rec. streight! If only fake flunky ass politicians would sit down and watch this clip,I wouldn't be so worried about will I have to put dog, naw fuck that,FAMILY to sleep or, risk getting a felony for have'n them hidden in my house.Texas is tring to kill of anything that looks like a pitbull so serrounding states beware.Only god (or government) knows what state is nxt.We need to be responsible for our pets regardless the breed.

  • Good video. I lost my American Staffordshire last Oct 1, 2010. All I can say is that her entire 14 years here I protected her from ignorant people who don't understand the breeds and nor do they want to take the time to learn. They just choose to judge not based on any facts but the media who is just as ignorant. Cassie was the most loving, smart, wise and caring being I had the God Given Blessing to know. May God Bless you and keep promoting.

  • @RoxsyRocks

Thank you! R.I.P and may God bless Cassie and you. Thanks for the support and continue doing what you do, I'm sure she was a GREAT, beautiful animal.

  • Good one buddy...very informative..Thanks.

  • Good video and an excellent explanation. A lot of people don't have a clue what is APBT. I'm glad to see that there are people who KNOW the difference.

  • Awesome vid, now could you do one about how the AM Bulldog and the English bull dog do not have the same history?

  • Please correct me if I am mistaken, but is there even such a thing as a "naturally viscous blood thirsty breed" I do not think so. T the nature of the dog depends on how it was treated/raised, sure there is some pure instinct..but not a malicious one. They are only viscous and brutal if they are trained and abused to develop in such a manner..which is just shameful. My aunt has an APBT, its a sweetheart.

  • OMG! SOMONE FINALLY GETS IT!!! I Loved this video!!! amazing man :D great video. everyone who wants a "pitbull" should check this out! great job on the video! amazing 5/5 + favorited :)

  • I have a "bully" Pit Bull (most likely Pit mixed w AB or Boxer) who is a rescue. I was shocked to find out she was not a true APBT but regardless, the dogs that are having the biggest issues ARE the Am Bullies. They are the one dying - in shelters and fighting rings. They are the one who need our help. I have to assume you are very active in trying to get rid of BSL...I think you should have added ways people can help change our country around when it comes to dogs who "look like" Pit Bulls

  • Excellent video , i can tell you have much knowledge in apbt and other breeds also ,5 stars pal!

  • Who are the MORONS that confuses these dogs with LABRADOR RETRIEVERS???? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really nice video. My 2 dogs are half pit and they are the 2 most loyal and loving dogs in the world! And it makes me so angry when people talk all that crap about them being "the meanest and most vicous" dogs. No dog is born vicous. Ignorant jerks make dogs vicous

  • I think just the word "pit bull" makes people frightened. All of these dogs, if well trained and looked after can be very sweet and cute. My friend has an american bully and he is amazing, the friendliest dog I have ever met !! :)

  • well dune my friend !!!!

  • I'm glad to see a fellow friend promoting this wonderful breed as it should be. (:

People need to take the TIME and do some research, and not just about APBT's and such, but about proper dog care, training, feeding and socialization in general. Many people REALLY don't know how much time, effort, commitment, patience, and work it takes to properly train, socialize, love and care for a dog. Wonderful video. Keep advocating our magnificent breed!!!!!

  • Good video. I volunteer at the city shelter every week and see so many bully dogs come and go and none of then are a true APBT. They are all some variation. I really wish the kennel cards would read "bully mix" or something other than "pit bull mix" then maybe people would see the great dog and not the label on the card. I personally have 3 bully mixes, one looks like a AKC Staffy, one like a APBT (true) and a shep/bully mix. They are all from a shelter so who knows.

  • Now how can you sit here and say that bully are not actually pitbulls that they are mutts, even though in your other video you said that great danes, irish wolfhounds, and mastiffs are not the tallest dogs and that the bully kutta is, even though the bully kutta is from Pakistan, and to "make" that dog it was bred from great danes, english mastiffs and bulldogs, so hows it not mutt. and I really dought your even gona post this so you dont look so fuckin stupid on youtube

  • @ghost121086 American Bullies are "Pit Bulls" as its not a breed, its a group. I never said a Bully Kutta was the tallest, they are not. I was using the breed as an example as they are taller then Danes and Wolfhounds. The dog is now a purebred because of many years of selective breeding - American Bullies, are mutts, though. Don't comment on my videos disrespecting me like I'm stupid when you are uneducated and have made Yourself look stupid ....

  • @ghost121086 Hey Fuckwit, "American Bullies" are owned and bred by wannabe gangsters who think that they have the toughest dog in the hood. There is absolutely no correlation between these CURS, and the true Game bred APBT. To quote a true old time dog man Howard Heinzl- " When we start breeding for appearance we may as well call them staffordshires, because thats all we will have in a few generations". Learn your history. Make yourself worthy of the breed. By the way, i'm from Australia ;-)

  • Nice video but I hope people would adopt from shelters - so many bully breeds die in shelters. They often wind up there because people don't realize how high energy they are.

I have pittie from a shelter and she is such a loving girl. I am retired, in my sixties, and I didn't get her for my image :) But since I've had my pittie girl, I've because a big advocate for these wonderful dogs.

  • i am sick of preaching this same exact stuff every time i run into someone that takes interest in my dogs. it should be mandatory for the world to watch this!!! lol. but i love this breed and i would die for my american pitbull terriers because i know they would die for me.

  • Ignorance is the key word. And people still don't realize that small dog's like 5-10 pounds harm more people than the larger ones. This video was awesome thank you

  • Great video, hopefully someday the masses of idiots out there will learn the difference.

  • i never heard of any one confusing a labradore before

  • AWESOME

  • i knew they wer mixing up the breed to obtain those sizes, great info

  • Finally! Its good to see someone who knows the difference between AmBullies and APBTs.

  • Thank you finaly some one that knows the difference, And I have to say I did own a true American Pit Bull Terrier, And I loved that dog. Someone actually shot it!!! Just because it was a pitbull!!! I hope he is having a good time rotting in jail

  • @HALOGUNNYSGT that guy who shot your dog made 224 seperate acounts to dislike because hes getting raped in prison!!

  • @HALOGUNNYSGT reminds me of racial segergation

  • Well, i knew that, only thing i dont understand is how people can confuse retrievers with APBT's????? Does that happen?? I love APBT's but they are illegal in my country. :-(

  • i got both apbt and american bullie they are great dogs

  • Smartly done video. I agree 100%. Now to educate the Michael Vick Thugs out there

  • great video man an APBT should only weigh 40 to 60 lbs and not suppose to be extremely muscular they are slender athletic dogs not to have the crazy bulk u see some people think is the in thing or accutally think that dog is suppose to like that which its not check out my vid response of my white APBT puppy playing with my staffordshire bull terrier mix... tell me what u think

  • Thanks for the video it helped settle and arguement between me and my neighbor who owens two american bullies and i own a real APBT but when we're walking our dogs he's being dragged by two 100 pound dogs and my 60 APBT is walking at my side.

  • yeah these dogs are great and the do not get the reputation the deserve, but unlike the American Staffordshire Terrier the APBT is not an AKC recognized breed. I completely agree with the message you are send and am in no way saying any wrong about your video I'm just stating more facts. Trust me APBT, Am Staff, and Staffie Owners are all in this together this is a war worth fighting and we will not stop untill justice is served for "Pit Bulls"

  • video is 100% correct

  • I really enjoyed this video. I respect the TRUE bred APBT, but I can't respect the "designer" breeds that claim to be APBT's. They just try to make the breed "bigger" because they think that's going to make them "better." The reality is, a REAL APBT is such a beautiful, sleek breed of dog, and people who cross-breed to get a huge monster and claim it as an APBT is just ruining the true breed.

  • Christ that dog at 0:47 is a beast, quite a frightning pic actually lol :), great vid, i know about the pit bull not being an actual breed but its god damn anoying trying to explain that to dim wit owners braggin about owning a pitbull!

  • yes this guy nows his shit like i no my shit , he says all things i say when it comes to the misconseption towrds american pitbull terriers

  • Thank you for the video, so much ignorance circulating in the US thanks to irresponsible and uneducated people. People need to know the truth about the breeds, disposition etc. My grandparents had APBT growing up, they where the main breed for most americans at that time. great dogs, but now people are trying to change the face of this dog and make it into some kinda monster or killing machine. laws are getting strick, we need to fight the ignorance!

  • It doesn't make you a bad owner, you sound great. It just makes you an irresponsible "Back-Yard" breeder.

  • I love this video. I breed american pit bull terriers and I hate when I take my dogs to the dog park and people are always telling me that they are small. An d I have to explain to them that my dogs are the correct size and not mixed breeding with false paper work.

  • If only I could give you 10 stars instead of 5...the Video deserves it!

  • THANKS! I really appreciate it.

  • Re-watch the video, there is no such breed as a "Pit Bull" or "PittBull." The breed your thinking of is American Pit Bull Terrier or APBT for short.

  • Cool video! lots of good info! I have 2 ADBA registered APBT and ingnorAiMESes try to tell me they have pitbulls and mine are too small........

    Eat a hotdog looooosers!

Big up Media Monsters Club, Csprings CO!

    Te bendiga King Molo!

God bless ya and keep doing what ya doing!

  • i have a Stafforshire Bull Terrier and evreyone who sees him asks is it a pit bull..so fustrating!

  • yeah nice video mate, nice photos.

  • Magnifique photos !!!

  • Magnifique photos !!!

  • We can all thank the low IQ inner city morons and the insecure trailer trash for the bad reputation of this great breed.

  • Long Live the Bully Breeds

  • american bullys are basically in the same dog family they just have a different name my dad and uncle breeds dogs all pittbulls look diffferent and some staffshir edogs are more pitbull than anything

  • "American Bullies are basically in the same dog family, they just have a different name." Thats somewhat true. They are both in the "Pit Bull" family, but they are not both Terriers. The American Pit Bull Terrier is the real "Pit Bull." Not all APBTs look different, hence why they are purebred dogs. "Pit Bull" or "Pitt Bull" itself isn't a breed so either they are "Back-Yard" breeders, or you don't know as much. No offense.

  • Today, no Am. Staffs are not mostly anything else but Am. Staffs. Hence they are purebred dogs. Unless they are mixed with something other than another purebred American Staffordshire Terrier, they are only Am. Staff.

  • wats the title of the music you used?? thnks

  • American Bullys are a product of BYB....some are crossed with mastiff/cane corsos/etc to achieve the wide chest/big head..... Some are not.

  • Thank you for making this video. Too many people just don't do any of their own research and let the media tell them what a 'pit bull' is. You have given a great visual of how a true APBT looks like and what the fakes look like too.

On another note, I think cropping the ears takes away from a dogs personality (regarding their facial expression).

  • Ear cropping was mainly for working dogs only, i.e fighters and hunters, not for show.

  • dude u r so right i have two pitbulls and they're very athletic and one of the nicest most respectable dogs i have ever been around. most people r far to fucking ignorant to even think before they speak about pitbulls and too lazy to do research and believe whatever the media tells them. i feel you yo and pitbulls have too much bad rep that they dnt deserve.

  • I agree. Its APBT, or American Pit Bull Terrier, though.

  • Uh, I think the first american bully there is a dogue de bordeaux or something like that

  • Perfect example of what I was talking about in the video.

  • Yep I suppose so lol (:

  • theres always some dog that gets a bad wrap every couple of years

  • wtf..why crop there ears.

  • Historically, only dogs bred to fight other dogs had their ears and/or tail cropped. This was to remove any opportunities the opposing dog would have to get a strong grip on your dog. For these same purposes, fighting dogs were bred with short hair and no loose folds of skin. Nowadays, ears and tail are cropped to maintain the traditional look. I personally am against cropping anything. It is a painful and traumatic process for the puppy.

  • Dang that last photo look alot like my old Dog damn it could been Bud's twin

  • Very good video, thanks, it made it clear now, i did some research but i never found anything more to the point, like I used to think American bullies were "better raised APBTs" now its clear thanks

  • Nice video 5******5 stars but i agree with the guy below me

How do you get a lab or a neopolitan mastiff mixed up w/ a APBT??

  • Dude. How do you get a lab or a neopolitan mastiff mixed up w/ a APBT??

  • Well.. people are stupid. There are more lab bites in the U.S. than any other breed, but ignorant people just assume.

  • No dog is a fake dog. Dogs are just dogs and anyone who see only the pure breds as the real dogs should not own a dog to start with. Backyard breeders and professional breeders are all just in it for the money. Why else would they breed dogs. We don't need more dogs in the shelter. With the economy like this not only are mixed breeds ending up in the shelters but so are pure breds.

  • To a certain extent that is true. You were wrong about the Professional breeders, though. They breed to better the breed and to make sure there are dogs that represent their respected breed standard. No one said a dog is "Fake." Dogs are not "Just dogs." And no one said anything about purebreds as the only dogs.

  • I didn't say u said it. It was my reply to some of the comments others made on your video. But I still think professional breeders are in it for the money only. Why else would the sell a dog for such high prices. For example, Yorkies are priced at $500 plus. And ofcourse dogs are just dogs, they are called "dogs" whether u like it or not.

  • And I recently bought a Mastiff for $2500. No they are not "Just dogs." Professionals have high prices on their dogs to make up for what they spend on their dogs. For you to say its all about money is very uneducated. In fact, most professional breeders spend more money than they make. Thus, losing money in the long run. They don't make much. ( I guess children are just children and money is just money then with your way of speaking, though. )

  • "Exactly." Good For You. Now if you'll excuse me, I actually have life to tend to other than stay on youtube all day and night making pointless arguments. goodbye:)

  • I never liked dogs until i got my APBT, and I have to say that it does make me angry to see the misconception most of the people have about this breed. I've researched as much as possible and I understand breeders. How many times have you heard "pitbull attack"? And then we have lots of anger against this breed. I would say the high price is for people to care about the money spent and take care of the pet, and not only treat it as a weapon, to dispose when useless.

  • i got a am staff and she is 4 yrs old and has never shown a bit of aggression and dont do anything without me telling her she can

  • what most people don't know is the dog the authorites are taking are not true pit bulls. But i preferr Amstaffs because there a little bit bigger than a pit bull terrier

  • we are just getting sick of getting comments such as "your dog is way to skinny!" while we walk our pure bred APBT. we want to STOP those backyard breeders to use the name APBT.

the APBT is a working breed, those bully's can't even run 2 miles let alone do any sport ! those "rare blue" +100lbs dogs aren't worth of being called an APBT.

ever seen a bully run on a threadmill? its fucking hilarious! (but I feel bad for the poor dogs though...)

  • when i grow up and move out im going to get a pitbull

  • Thats cool but why was a labador up there i have one of those and my best friend has a am pitbull and they look nothing alike.

  • Love DOGO"S and cane's and AM-staff's and APBT, my rottie's photo should be on the confused with APBT's list. i don't know how may people tem me to kill my "pitbull" or "nice pitbull" and i laugh and say "thanks for the complament, But

Anthony is a Rottie." their jaws drop. APBT;s and the like are ALL great dogs. Long live APBT's by the way love the name Molosser dogs are great loveable dogs, we have a ":backyard breeder here near me charging $900 per pup and will sell to anyone. Good luck

  • I think your video is pretty acurate don't listen to the rest of the fools out there. U got it man
