  • I was looking on ebay at the 3d Carving Sculpture Powder and was wondering how to use it. I tried to copy and past the ebay link for you to see it but it wont allow me to. :(

  • awww sweet! Thank u sooooo much! i will definately b checking him out! Thank u for all ur amazing videos!

  • Hi I have been doing my own acrylic nails for 20 years and I am now getting brave enought to play around with the different colors of acrylic. I was looking on ebay at the powders. I seen some called pigments. Is that acrylic too or do you just add those pigment color to the acrylic powders?

  • @maykynize I'm not sure what these pigments are. You can add a little mica to your powder for color but not too much because it affects the consistency of the acrylic, is very hard to get a strong color with just mica. The best thing to do will be to buy a strong /bright colored acrylic powder and with this made lighter shades tones and mix and match.

  • thanks I love this vid... can you place links to where or from who you buy your glitter and acrylics. I tend to try not to mix the brands because of the chemicals...

  • @NailCreatingMagic

I usually buy local, but sometimes I order from buynails dot com. I also some art colored acrylic sets for sale on my facebook page.

  • Omg! U r amazing! Thank u for all of the amazing videos! I was wondering if u could make a tutorial or knew of a tutorial on how to use a nail drill! I kno how to operate it but I'm not very good at actually using it on a nail! Lol I could use any help or advice! Thanks again!

  • @beautyful117

look for Young Nails videos, they have an awesome but simple video of how to file nails, plus he is so good at explaining this :).

  • Amazing!!!!!!

  • Thankyou, I've been buying loads of different pink powders trying to find a brighter opaque one, so this vid is great!

  • @TheLittleMermaid1986

dont let it go to waste, just customize it, buy a sample kit from the same brand if you dont have the white powder. and mix a little more to it for opacity, buy strong colored acrylic powder to make it brighter :)

  • Where can I buy this stuff?

  • Cool, I thought the yellow was going to ruin it

  • @TropicalBeauty1

it could if you add too much :P

I now have a light pale brown color that I made mixing brown colored acrylic, with a little yellow and white. I turn out like a cookie color and is easier for me to make my cover pink acrylic :).

  • where can you bye the pink and yellow colored acrylic????????plz thinking of doing it.... thank you

  • where do u buy the 1/4 tsp spoon at tell me okay i need it so bad

  • @10tangthao you could bye it on a local beauty supply or in food maxx or 99cents..

  • @10tangthao I have measuring spoons I use for baking which I would imagine are exactly the same...they measure out 1/2, 1/4 measures exactly the same. The can be purchased at any store which has baking section or a domestic hardware store! I'm not from the States, I live in Ireland, but I guess stores like Walmart etc would carry these measuring spoons! :)

  • have you tried making like a pinker color like for the white and pink

  • I am trying to find the Diamond Dust Mica on that website but I don't see it Ijust see The Peal Diamond Dust Mica is that it **Someone please tell me **Thanks

  • how come its bad to use makeup to make acrylic colors????

  • :D It no secret now i haz it MUHAHAH>:D

  • where do u buy your product

  • My only question is: When mixing your own acrylic you must get variations, how do you deal with fill-in's if the color is different?

  • @crzytig

oh I always make extra powder so that I can do my fill with it, and if I run out, I make another batch and test it next to a sample nail I have with the old acrylic that I used. But if I forget or cant find the nail with the sample, I just try to make it as similar as possible if not a little darker or opaque so that no fill lines are visible.

  • great video..thanks for sharing!!

  • @pinelopi1985

thank you for taking the time to watch it :) ♥

  • @cuteglitternails yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i even made it!!! this color is great! it really is a nice color. thanks again..., this was a must have & a must watch tutorial!

  • @cuteglitternails hi!!!! i made it.. , what a nice color!! thank you so much! your tutorial is a must have and a must watch!!!thanks again cuteglitternails...xoxo :-}

  • Can you use coastal scents mica to make acrylic powder colors?

  • @PerfectlyGORGEOUSx

Yes you can, I tried that before, the only problem is that the colors tent to be kinda shimmery and it gets in the monomer jar even when cleaning the brush pretty well. I guess using very little should be better, I used a lot :P :P

  • this vedeo really saved me some money thanks

  • @leonar281

yay, I'm glad it did =), I helped my sister the other day, I did her fill and I didnt have the pink her nail tech used :(, so I made it :), and she loved mine because of the sparkle I added :).

  • Hi viewers! You can buy pure mica at wwwcoastalscentscom or just type "mica powder" into the search bar of your country's ebay site to find local supplies. I bought 10g each of 9 colours for AUD30 locally.

  • @soniabailey82

♥ mica, not to long ago they were offering free shipping in the US,for the first time ever, i hope they do that again :)

  • Absolutely gorgeous. I have the diamond dust mica powder. I only used it once. I ended up inhaling the dust from it. Not cool so I haven't used it since. Now seeing this tutorial, it makes me want to try the pink acrylic. Wish I would've saw this before I hacked off my nails.

  • @nvd2ceb4

oh yeah is very dusty, I always use a mask whenever I'm mixing acrylics or filing it off and creating my own eyeshadows, that's the main reason why I got the diamond dust mica. You can actually create a dupe for mac black tied using black diamond mica, and a black pigment or mica :) well the possibilities are endless :)

  • Great video :) it helped me a lot ;)

  • @Akameru89

    thanks for watching :)

  • @DreamBubble101

=D thank you so much for watching :)

  • where do you buy your acrylic powders?

  • @noonelikeliz

Online, ebay, local beauty supplies :)

    I like this site

buynails . com they offer many salon brands, sometimes they even have free trial kits, last time I checked they had an IBD trial kit for free with your order, you just got to add it to your car :), great way for testing different products :)

  • @cuteglitternails Awesome Nena! Te RECOMIENDO USAR ORGANIC NAILS!!! POOOOOOR DIOOOOS!!! ES EEEEEEL ACRILICO!!! ES FANTASTICO, son fuera de este FREAKING WORLD!!!! No los cambio por nada en este momento!!!!! Son fenomenal! y super baratos por internet!

  • @luisbalma hii i was wondering what site they sale ORGANIC NAILS stuff at and at a good price? thanks

  • @melinavarro92243 Well I know there is one or tow but I havent purchased from them, go to ebay and type in Organic Nails, chose one of the items from organic and check the page and look for the site! I have never purchased from them thou!

  • thank you

  • @1wog4ever

    thanks for watching

  • they r so cute and thanks for sharing doll

  • Do you suggest to use pigments likr from MAC to make different color acrylic powders or do those react again

  • @melissarx8

To be honest I dont really know, I have a few mac pigments samples but they all are in dark tones, black, blues, purples, so I cant make a mix and test it to see if it will work or not :( But f you have the right colors and/or shimmer, you should make a tiny amount, test it in at least one of your nails and see if it works and the nail last and dont get lifting :).

  • your nails always look so good, you must get a lot of compliments :-)

  • @classytips27

aww thank you so much :) it means a lot to me since I'm not a pro, and I know I still make lots of mistakes :(. But yeah people ask me all the time to allow them to see my hands and for my nail tech address :P

  • Thank you! This is VERY helpful. Could you please tell me where you get the little containers? Thank you!

  • @2marelle

    Thanks for watching...

I got the mixing jar from walmart it comes in a clear box with 24jars. The other jars where I have the regular pink acrylic, glitter and mica, I got in bulk, about 1000of those :P, I like to use them to make my own mineral make up,shadows lip balms and for storing glitter, but I will have some jars up for sale pretty soon =)

  • EXCELLENT i have been having troubles with ezflow cover pink, wont stick to the nail plate and lifts like crazy!!

this is such a help. keep it up :)

  • @BeFeLtOn

Oh I really like ezflow products, I havent try their cover pink, but I dont think I will :P specially after what you said :P

Maybe if their regular pink or clear acrylic works for you , then you can change the tone :) and use this instead :)

  • Could you please do a mix to look nude?

  • @thistlerocks prolly just more brown, or use brown....

  • @thistlerocks

Oh you can add less pink or a lighter shade and brown instead of yellow.

Best way is to first mix a small amount until you find the color desired =) If you are lucky enough to find a dark almond colored acrylic or dark taupe acrylic then the guessing will be a lot easier :)

  • @cuteglitternails Thanks!

  • This is really nice (and a great idea with the yellow). I'm definitely going to try this!!! Thanks!

  • @vajh122027

glad you like it :) ♥

  • superrr nice! gonna try this for sure thanks so much for sharing =)

  • @MrORTIZLOVE

Thank for watching, I hope you like it :)

  • Thats a great idea 2 add a lil yellow or brown 2 the mix..I'm definitely gonna try this :-)

  • @MissArmenta

yes best way is to mix a tiny amount until you find the color you like, and once you know exactly how to get it make a bigger mix :)

  • me gusto tu tutorial

    suerte!!

    saludos biie

  • @karendayami

    gracias por tu tiempo ♥

  • another useful and great video ,niña (^_^) how did u got ur diamond dust ? where i can find it?

  • @pinkangell3

Thanks corazon, I got the diamond dust mica from coastalscents . com, you can get a sample baggie for $1.00 and it has a lot of product, and is good for use in make up, for nails an even to add it to your lotion :)

  • Where do you get your colored acrylic and also what kind of pink/clear acrylic do you use? Also monomer?

  • @galadrielmoon Yes I am also interested in this!

  • @pinkcuppy I got colored acrylic from ebay (small 3g jar in some of my older videos) The ones in this video are vivid nails, I will have a few kits up for sale pretty soon. And for the regular acrylics regular pink, clear and white, I buy any of the following brands ezflow creative ibd entity same for the monomer. check buynails . com they have many brands, and you could add to your order some of their free acrylic kits =). I know right now they have a free Ibd sampler kit.

  • @GlitzNGlamNailz

    thanks girl xoxo

  • thats realy cool!!!! thx for the info!! do you mix all of your own colors? if so can u show how to do them?? also i would like a utorial on how to do the design on your nails in this video!!!!

  • @loveformakeupnnails

I just mix the pick acrylic for the nail plate, and sometimes I do take a bright colored acrylic and make it lighter by adding some white acrylic into it. I will be uploading a video of those nails , thanks for asking.

  • Very cool!! Pretty color!! Thank you for sharing!!! ;)

  • @MissMNails

    thank you for watching

  • @cuteglitternails

You're welcome!!! Guess what?? So far, I've aced all my tests!!!! =)

Can't wait to get to the good stuff.. haha

  • @MissMNails

congratulations, cant wait ot see what you come up with :) :)

  • love it boo but does all of the acrylic have to be the same brand ? cause i use nsi products but a different brand colored acrylic

  • @peaches2115

To be honest, I usually mix brands, and when I ran out of a certain brand of acrylic but not monomer, I still use it with another acrylic brand :P, never had lifting or yellowing problems. The only way to find out if it works with your products is by doing a small test. also try to use good products, always use new/clean monomer and a clean brush.

  • awesome!

  • Thanks for this!! Your designs are amazing! I would love to see a tut for this one :o)

  • @xFlossy

Thank you, yes I will be uploading a video
