I have heard/viewed many Leslie's interview clips in both Mandarin & English as well as Cantonese, his Language talents can be clearly recognized.

Actually I think some of the questions were kind of stupid to ask. i.e. the idol, comparing directors, his childhood, singer or actor, etc and she almost insulted him by mentioning 'his come-back'. But Leslie answered them incredibly well in such an elegent way that the woman interviewer looks even dumb. Clearly the woman has NO natual english accent while Leslie appears to be more british in his speaking style. What a perfect man, it's a bless that we had him in this world.

Leslie was educated in UK, so he spoke UK English, if you listen carefully. Yes, he has the gift of tongue. Hope someone has other language spoken buy Leslie. I heard him speaking Thai language to the sales girl in Ciang Mai, at first I thought he was a Thai, until my daughter couldn't stand me starring at him as I told her he was Leslie, so she asked him: are you Leslie ?" He answered " Yes, I am " we were so delighted and she took a photo with him. We miss you, Leslie.

even his negative roles, such as the compulsive killer in Double Tap, arouses a level of compassion also because the character suffers mental illness. Leslie the person himself is extremely kind, considerate, charming... all this would glow through the camera and we feel that warm radiance about him.

Leslie as a communist is a funny idea.. however, like always, what ever role he plays, he looks it, he is it. From east to west, there isn't a single actor quite like him, with such an incredible capacity to play such a great variety of drastically different roles... the only kind he can't play, I feel, would be the 100% percent villain, because he has such a charm about him that would emmanate no matter what..
