@1bol1 He didn't know everything though he surely knew a lot. In actually by Gung-fu standards..there was really nothing that spectacular about Bruce Lee. He would only have been considered an average to somewhat above average Gung-fu man through most of China history since just about ALL people trained as hard as he did. He may have been a bit more serious than some, but there are plenty who are even more serious than he was, though he was very good, powerful and dedicated for sure!

Hwang Jang Lee had more diverse array of techniques with his feet, and he made a lot more jumping kicks combination than Bruce Lee. But overall I think Bruce was better. He was in an awesome physical shape (remember the one finger pushups, or his high wushu style jumps), and was really very fast. Plus Bruce really evolved a philosophy, by using his brain (and books, reusing other ideas too)

I think what is there to learn is that - even Bruce Lee could have learned more!

This film was meant to be an attempt to use more footage from Bruce's unfinished film Game of Death but they ended up making a film that was a bit more unique (arguably the most exciting of Bruceploitation movies).

I mean....seriously, with the main bulk of the footage used, the only new fight footage they had was Dan Inosanto and the Korean Hapkido expert demonstrate their moves in a field somewhere.

My Sensei did not realy say much about the movie itself, but he told me how he got the job. Himself and some others went for the job, a man came into the room and did a sequence of moves, nobody esle could do the sequence apart from Graham.. .....he got the job. He also said that Hwang Jang was very good but wanted Graham to do things just the way he wanted them. I will ask him to come on here and tell you in his own words. Thanks

graham has taught me once at my muay thai training in england.

he is an old trainer and personal friend of my mt instructor.

my instructor speaks very highly of him, and he certainly knackered the students that day when he went in there. he did alot of ground work with us - showing ys where we were going wrong.

for those who dont know him sensei ravey is a remarkable man who left a life in england to study karate for many years. he has a book out and i highly recommend it.
