  • remove the neons when the bala matures.

  • get somthing to get that water circulataing..... These fish are fast stream fish not pond fish

  • I'm getting neon tetras, about 15 of them, they're like lasers! BLAGGHHHHH

  • I'm getting neon tetras, about 15 of them, thewy're like lasers!

  • is that the 35mm camera? lmao

  • good tank but balas will outgrow and may eat neon tetras

  • @thefish9871 not really, if their in schools, they should be good

  • and where is your Co2 ??

  • You shouldn't put little fish like Tetras with fish that will get big like Bala Sharks. I just learned that the hard way today. I have a foot long Goldfish and it literally swallowed one of my new tiger barbs. They just don't coexist well in an aquarium together.

  • such an ass head

you cant put aggressive fish wit tropical fish retard

  • how are bala sharks? like care and all that stuff?

  • lmfao at those fish in a tank that size

  • whats that little white fish that was in the corner? 0:01

  • @2213catlover i think its a blind cave castfish

  • @cowboykenny21 i want to get one, very pretty! nice tank also :)

  • @2213catlover It's an albino Corydoras

  • @dharmabum722 really nice!!! :)

  • all my favorite fish in one tank

  • bals will eat neons

  • first off that noise is annoying as hell should voice over it with some music if possible with an editor next is thoose 4 balas are gonna outgrow that tank super fast i have 3 in a 30 gallon tank now and they are almost 5 inchs and are outgrowing it and i've only had them for a few months third they shouldn't be living with tiger barbs they are fin nippers and balas are a peaceful community fish unlike rainbow and redtail sharks and 3rdly the tetras will be lunch for everyone in there

  • how many gallons is your tank

  • why are people saying the quality is bad? it looks fine to me

  • how big is your tank

  • do the tigers or balas ever go after the neons? they say that they are fin nippers...

  • @Mickmenta thats usually only if theyre not kept in schools

  • how big is your tank

  • ud better be prepared soon cuz bala sharks grow so big u need like a 100 gallon or more, or so ive heard

  • it's true, my 90 gallon tank is getting small for my bala sharks.

  • @ABWorsham4 ya they get huge my biggest one just died he was 12 inchs and 4 inchs wide they get HUGE and i didn't even know he'd get that big he had his own 20 gallon till the end i originally had him in a 30 gallon with other fish once he got to 6 inchs i moved him to the 20 alone

  • nice tank

  • how big to your sharks get can u sent the anwer to jamie.moon31@yahoo.com please

  • My ears!

  • your fish are gonna outgrow that tank sooooo fast

  • always get 6 tiger barbs if your getting tiger barbs so there not as aggressive towards other fish

  • umm...im no expert but i had tigers with neons and the tiger nipped the fins of my neons so be careful

  • how much are bala sharks

  • how come i cant get my tetras and tiger barbs to not kill ea other

  • watch those neons die soon

  • got a 30 gallon tank with 3 tiger barbs i bought a plainum guroami and 4 blue neon tetra's... the tiger barbs been killing em as soon as i droped em tetras in.. any solution??

  • @garrette94 tiger barbs nip at fins my last tank died cause I had some tropical fish then I added them and the tiger barbs ate em lol. So i never buy em. If your gonna buy em with other fast moving fish or put them into a large group. I would recomend putting them in a diff dtank.

  • get more tiger barbs, like 6, then they will feel more secure and not pick on smaller fish...

  • you need bigger tank for bala sharks they can reach 40cm

  • Actually they reach 2 feet in captivity. They don't most of the time because people keep them in too small aquariums and think their cute little 2 in bala will stay that way forever and ever and ever.......and ever

  • ok cool

  • Really I thought it waws Not Cool

  • err ok

  • shit tank

  • if u get a small silver shark in a small tank will it stay small or outgrow the tank

  • @sk84mony they grow but very slowly

  • they won't eat them if they are well fed :P

  • I have an aquarium with 4 silver dollars, 2 tiger barbs and 2 neon tetras. The neons were originally bought to feed my tiger barbs, but since my tiger barbs are scared of them(neon tetra), i just left them in the tank

  • no offence but those balas are going to exceed a foot in time. Unkess of course you have other plans for them:dinner.

  • will bala sharks eat the tetras wondering because im getting tiger barbs but i dont know if i can get neon tetras oh and nice vid :)

  • They wont eat anything..The only time my tetras were eaten was when I left for a week and found the balas 3 times bigger and no tetras but they were cheap anyways

  • If they (the neons) fit in the Bala Sharks mouth then theres a high chance that they will be eaten. As for the tiger barbs they should be fine with the balas. I have 4 Tiger barbs with my 2 Balas.

  • Nice tank, how many gallons do you have in there?

  • my bala shark does head stands is that bad help me ;(

  • nice tank. Get some rock

  • cant see shit captain

  • u have one shit camera lol, wats with the noise?

  • ji there - noticed something about your tank - on the left hand side, right early on in the clip , see the tiger barbs "headstanding".... they are great indicators of poor water quality or contaminants in there... they have really sensitive systems. look it up .. time for a water change.

  • Is it water quality and does this apply to cherry barbs also?

  • btw: "headstanding" is a absolutely natural behaviour of tiger barbs.

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, tiger barbs live in groups where they compete to be the alpha fish. A tiger barb doing a head stand is their way of accepting the other as the dominant fish. :)

  • not true they do that becouse there stressed. tiger barbs can live in a wide spectrum of water qualities without trouble

  • omfg u loser neons will get killed buy the sharks wen they get bigger and killed buy the barbs while there small get them out f there of u wnt have any neons left soon

  • that's not true. I have a 9" bala that was with about 10 neons, some demios, and 8 tiger and green tiger barbs. They all got along fine. Don't go around making dick comments if you don't know your facts

  • hey know what would be fun? throw an oscar in there

  • hahaha so he could eat al those fishes in there hahaha

  • does anyone one know if i could put a anglefish into a 10 gallon community fish tank

  • Wouldn't recommend it...when they get older they become a little nippy, unless you have a petshop that would let you trade after it gets too big, or even pawn it off to someone with a bigger tank.

Was thining of getting 2 or 3 for my 32 gallon

Some fish do grow to a certain size depending on their environment, but they also don't last as long if their growth is stunt.

  • i have to in mines so far so good

  • yes my dad put 1 in 55 gallon but whach for temp

  • is that a 20 gallon or 10 gallon tank?

  • will a bala shark eat a goldfish thts 2 times smaller than it or smaller?

  • Bala sharks are not agressive, I doubt they can even fit those goldfish in their mouths.

  • yea i have 3 bala sharks all 10 inches or bigger they dont eat my neon tetras rofl or danios so.. u should b fine..

  • i notice something interesting about my bala shark its shoals with my single redline torpedo barb they live happily with4 dwarf gouramis and a shoal of glowlight tetras.

  • tiger barbs are aggressive no really a good community fish and the bala's do grow big but really depends on tank size and amount of fish in there the neon tetras most likley get eaten first lol

  • do u have another, HUGE tank cuzz 4 balas arent gunna survive in there!!!

  • I have two barbs and all they do is sit at the back of the tank. They are so boring.

  • thats because they are schooling fish :) you need to have at least 6 :)

  • 6 Oh No! I'll be ridding myself of these fish. I think they are biting the tail off on my Oto. :(

  • That's because you have less than 6. They need to be with others so that they focus their agression and crazyness at each other.

  • oto's suck they hardly eat algae and get pissy when bigger, buy a bristle nose pleco and get more tiger barbs they are great and hardly any trouble when kept is a shoal of 6 or more

  • You DO realise that bala sharks can grow to 35cm (14 inches)

  • i think i see an albino catfish!

OK ANYWAYS, i thin that they say tiger barbs will be less aggressive if kept in a shool of 6 or more of the same species

  • ok someone please respond...my tigerbarb keeps taking off thefind on one of my bigger fish so i put my biggerfish in an enclosed area that the tiger barb cant get in. How lnog should i do this.. also i have an albino frog in my tank that can only live in water, but so far it has eaten a tigerbarb a silverdollar and almost my big longfinned fish that have all been nipped by my tiger barb.

  • yea if you only have one thats not good, they are schooling fish

  • Tiger barbs nip. You can't really mix them with long tailed or slow fish. You basically can't completely stop this from happening. Mix the right fish next time and this won't happen.

  • i have a question..my niece have 5 tiger barbs and i notice 2 of them are just below the surface of the water is that normal or not?.i only keep cichlids and shovelnose so i realy dont know about barbs behavior..thx in advance...btw those bala shark in there hmmm be careful dude.

  • might be really old to respond to it, but are the two that float around active? if not they could be sick.

then again, if they are near the surface but pointing with their noses to the ground, then that means they are presenting to the females to breed.

and the sharks are really minnows, the name is just from the fin uptop that makes um look like a shark

  • bala shark is not a good beginner shark. u should remove it

  • You kidding? They're piss easy to look after! Just keep them with some other aggressive ones and they're fine, I got them with my Malawi Cichlids, they live together harmlessley.

  • same here. i got two electric yellows, two convicts, a crayfish, a bala shark, and a pleco. they do fine.

  • I got electric yellow 2 Malawi Cichlids now (4 died, 3 just... died I have no idea why, and one killed itelf 0.o ) with 2 plecos and 2 bala sharks

  • I have 2 Bala Sharks in a community tank. Most of the other fish nip and chase each other, the sharks just swim around peacefully and play together.

  • i have 4 tiger barbs 2 silver tipped sharks and a red tail shark

  • get those bala sharks out of there as soon as you can, you are going to severly stunt there growth they can grow to over 1 foot in length and require 100+ gal size tanks, its a common mistake beginners make.

  • What size of tank is that?

  • is your tank 2 ft... it looks like it

mine is about the same length and i have 3 mollys, 2 silver sharks, 2 guppies, 2 angelfish, 2 gold sucking catfish and im getting 4 neon tetras

  • tiger barbs are fin snippers, they like to bite the fins of other fishes.. if you are keeping just tiger barbs, it fine. but do not keep any other timid fish cos tiger barbs will bite off their tails.

    i know by experience

  • SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY!!!! HI I AM PLANNING ON GETTING 5 OR MAYBE SIX TIGER bArbs FOR MY TEN GALLON> WILL THEY BE FINE IN A TEN GALLON FOR THEY're LIFETIME AND WILL THEY BE hAPPY??? BY THE WAY I AM NOT PLAnnING ON PUTTING ANY OTHER FISH IN THE TANK JUST THE BARBS.

  • Fuck no..... Never put Bala Sharks in anything smaller then 30 Gallon Tank.

  • Yes, you should be fine. Tiger barbs don't get over 2 inches so with 5 to 6, it should be smooth sailing. If you do decide to put other fish in, tiger barbs are fin nippers so bettas or any other long-finned fish would be unhappy.

  • yeah, you could do 7-8 tigers in a 10 as long as you leave them space to swim (so don't plant too densely, and not many other, bigger fish). if you're only doing 5-6, make sure you have a few cories or something to clean up the uneaten food, and maybe snails for algae control.

  • Hey, jinrais... I wish someone had decided to keep you in a clothes basket when you were a year old.

  • nice tank but you might want to add more plants or something

  • Hey you don't need bigger tank at all now. putting those small bala in 180g tank means u got brain damage not the bala ... HAHAHHA

  • The balas will get as close to their 14" adult size as they can, until they get stunted and die / jump out and die / ram into the walls and either A) break the tank and die or B) give themselves massive brain damage. 180g+ for these guys, take them back and add more cories.

  • lol

  • or just get a bigger tank... you dont need 180. a 55 to 75 will do fine.

  • It seems fine now, but when they grow, it will probably be crowded.

  • thats a nice tank.but its a lil crouded

  • that actually loooks like a 20 gallon

  • I REALLY suggest you get more Bala's they run in schools, they get very timid alone.

  • the cory is acting that way because i think its alone in the tank, theyre schooling fish and get very scared when theyre by themselves.

  • hey is that a 40gallon cause my tank looks similiar to urs...

  • fight fight fight!

  • is ur white fish swimming upside down?

  • ur corydoras is acting very strange

  • how many gallons i got 15 gallon and getting new fish any suggestions

  • for a 15 gallon tank i can personally recommend either bettas (they are extremely aggressive so read about them first) swordtails, maybe a couple of angelfish or some barbs maybe. it might be a little late but still, just wanted to help.

  • bettas? aggressive? maybe you should read more. The only time bettas are agressive is to eachother, so long as theres only one male in a tank, they are a great community fish

  • about a year ago i had a betta together with angelfish 1 day after the betta was chasing the angelfish around like 24 hours a day and about a week later 2 of my angel fish where dead (the smallest ones i had) i would definetly not recommend them for a community tank but i could be wrong, i might just have had a very agressive one

  • Bettas will be aggressive towards anything with long flowy fins...basically anything that could POSSIBLY be another male betta, and we all know they don't like each other...angelfish are a prime example, not to mention they don't move much so they couldn't escape the betta. Bettas work fine in community tanks if you plan them out. I keep mine with some tetras, danios, and albino cory cats.

  • also guppies

  • i think ur water is bad... ur fish is running up and down the window side...

  • thoses balas will easily outgrow a tank this size
