Great word. As a single 24 year old male, I sometimes find myself longing for the ol' college days, at the bars, girls etc.. and sometimes going there. Great reminder to not let myself even long for those days, there is so much more ahead in Christ Jesus.

Miracles were for the prophets though(like Moses)...to prove they were prophets and messengers, right? How can Jesus be God if he performed miracles? and then what was the point of Jesus performing miracles? God has authority over all things...what would be miraculous if God did it? Can the One who raises the sun and then sets it not bring the dead back to life? Of course...would it really be miraculous though? It was only miraculous because it was through a human(like Jesus, Moses, Noah)

If you're not too serious with Jesus in the beginning, then it starts out like a flirtation. But He will call you to become His bride when He knows you're ready.

I had soulties, by which I still loved arabic music. I used to listen to it all the time, even just before going to church. After 3 years (!) of going to church Jesus told me to stop doing that. And all of a sudden I could, to my surprise I never even longed back for it.
