  • Sounds good pops a lot if u want it to not pop as much and just b deep do 4 or 5 tips the smaller tips make the sound cut of short which makes it pop! Great vid!

  • sounds cool, truck dont sound bad either

  • "Dat sounds good" haha

  • louder that the super 40s?

  • @mudders1000 yeah, they are deeper and alot more aggressive.

  • cant wait to get my truck so i can put these on

  • where'd you get tommy chong to film this from?

  • Fuckin dumdasses! People that say "true duals" are dumb, some motors need a x or h pipe to equalize pressure and run correctly!

  • @MrPoonasty and some need a true dual setup to run at its best but it all depends on how the engine is built or tuned. some benefit from one setup more than another. i had a carbed 350 with heads , headers , cammed and had a 850 holly double pumper and other things done and it had around 450hp with a true dual setup and super 40 delta flow flow masters and no cats. you are correct about an X or H pipe but depending on the build they usually go with a catback system. i never run cats

  • drone?

  • @3ashqGMC I'm so used to having loud exhaust on my truck that I really don't notice any drone. Though I don't think it drones much at all. The only time I really notice a drone is when my exhaust tone and songs with the same tone match.

  • I wanna hear the new one

  • @Metallica1071991 I'm gonna try to get a video today.

  • does the fuel milage decrease?

  • @MudLite26 I didn't really notice any decrease. But if there was, it was prob from always being on the throttle to hear the exhaust.

  • ha ha ha chong is recording

  • badaass homie g

  • Haha the guy holding the Camara is Chong!

  • Ok so how much did it cost you to get your truck true dualled? And did they have to put in another cat or what?

  • @acdclover66 It already came stock with two cats. This only cost me around $200. But i already had the mufflers and tips. Just payed for piping and labor.

  • @JesseBoom700 So would you say it's cheaper to just buy the mufflers and tips yourself and pay for piping and labor. Or would it be the same price if I bought it all at the place where I get my truck's exhaust redone?

  • @acdclover66 you may be able to get a better deal buying them online and having the exhaust shop install them. You could go to the exhaust shop and ask how much they would charge for tips and the mufflers you want and compare them to online prices. I'm actually am getting a new truck that will need some exhaust work done. 06 silverado 2500hd with the 6.0l. I'll prob stick with the original 40's since its a 6.0.

  • I thought about getting the super 10,or something loud for my 5.3,I have true dual straights, but with cats,I plan on gutting my cats, but I want alot of pop, does the 10 pop with cats on,if so,it will work, but I want alot of pop,but I want to put mufflers on because I dont want to get pulled over, any suggestions?

Also, the dude on camera sounded like the dude from cheech and chong,I laughed when I heard him,but he was right, that thing ''sounds pretty cool man'' HA!

  • @EJthecountryboyGRAY My truck pops when I shift it into third coming down a hill. You'll notice alot more popping if you put the 10 series on. The pressure bangs against the baffle inside. Sounds really beastly and throaty too. My buddy has straights on his 5.3 which sound great, but he likes the sound of the 10 series on my truck. Thats my uncle behind the camera, hes pretty funny. He kinda looks like chong from the movies. Beard, glasses, long hair. Hes a biker dude. Real nice guy!

  • @JesseBoom700 Thats funny,he isn't chong is he,LOL,but thanks for the info, and my 5.3 sounds great with straights, you can check it out at my page and hear it yourself, but I had it since I was 16,and I'm a little older now,I still love the pop, just dont want to be running without mufflers,I plan on gutting my cats for more flow and sound, and then running highflow mufflers,so I been asking people what they recommend, and I'm down to super 10,8 inch glasspacks,or CB extremes! What do you think?

  • @EJthecountryboyGRAY I don't really have any experience with glasspacks or the cherry bomb extreme mufflers. I heard a few trucks with glasspacks on them, and they actually sound decent. They do pop and carry on. I always liked flowmaster for the throatier sound. I believe the 10 series and cherrybomb extremes are pretty similar with being a single chambered muffler though.

  • @JesseBoom700 IGlasspacks just take out the cackle a little bit, not too throaty. I have one on my jeep cherokee but I think I might have to get one of these when I get new exhaust on it!

  • @EJthecountryboyGRAY also, I'm not sure how your emission laws are, but if you gut the cats your o2 sensors will trip and you check engine light will be on. Here in pa, that won't pass emissions. You may be able to get some type of bypass for the o2 sensors. Search around on google for MIL(malfunction indicator light) eliminators. I'll check your page out and listen to the beast!

  • @JesseBoom700 I dont have to worry about emissions,I'm from deep alabama,so no checks here, but I didn't think about the o2 sensor,I'll have to fix that but, thanks for all the help and info!

  • hah that sounds pretty cool man

  • That sounds good :)

  • sounds pretty cool man haha

  • I just ROFL'D at the camera man, but the truck sounds good brah

  • mint

  • camera guy is awesome

  • is that tommy chong i hear in the video, (That sounds very cool man.)

  • Gotta love the camera man.

  • dude my friend used to have a 10 on his 5.3 and it didnt sound anywhere near that loud, but then again he just did a muffler swap, hes got a 40 now and its as loud as fuck

  • is that a 5.3? i have a ^.0 with true duals on it but want it louder i got mufflers now and i wish it was louder what u reccomend?

  • @MrMaggs43 yep thats a 5.3. True duals are the way to go, but what mufflers do you have?

  • What did you have to do to the computer?

  • these have the 2.5 inlet/outlets dont they

  • Ha ha THAT SOUNDS GOOD!

  • Is there a lot of drown from the 10 series

  • So I have an 01 Sierra 1500 5.3 stepside and I'm really wanting to go with true duals. Would mine sound about the same if I had the same exact set up but with an X or H pipe?

  • @acdclover66 the x and h pipe are just for equalizing the backpressure on the motor. if you keep the pipes seperated (i prefer keeping it true dual because it just sounds better but thats my opinion) it well almost sound exactly like this, note that all trucks tend to sound different even tho they may have the same motor and parts. but yea it should sound the same

  • oh i bet, i think im gonna go ahead and get the 10s, it sounded like a pretty good deal to me. thanks for all the help!

  • hey man im really considering the 10 series now. is the 10 series a whole hell of a lot louder than the 40 series? how much did you pay for yours? the guy i talked to near me said he could do it all for around 350, that is changing the muffler, piping and my tips.

  • @ClarkandDixie Yes, the 10 series are alot deeper, louder, and alot more aggressive sounding then the original 40 series. I already had piping and such from when i had the 40's on, but the 10 series were $100 a piece. My piping is true dual. No Y pipes, H pipes, or X pipes. So its manifold, stock cat, piping, 10 series, and the exit piping. $350 sounds like a good price. You'll like it

  • @JesseBoom700 $100 a fuckin piece? where the hell are you gettin your mufflers?? you can get the 10 series for about $60 each at summit...

  • @ndubb1 I did research and i went to discount auto they got the best prices on the race series flowmaster. at advanced and such there charging almost 100.00 for one muffler what a rip off

  • @twinsord55 wow yea that's ridiculous. The super 10 series is the same muffler, i really don;t see how it can be any different than the delta race. that's why when i buy a new exhaust next year, im buying thrush chambered mufflers that are almost the same as the 44's, but about $40-$50 cheaper a muffler

  • @JesseBoom700 my truck is setup the same way lol but i got magnaflow but im thinking bout headers is that a good investment or should i just gut cats

  • @ikaikaboy88 Headers will make it flow better, not sure how it would effect the sound. May make it more crisp. Gutting the cats will def make a difference in sound, but you would have to do something with your o2 senors since your check engine light will be on.

  • @ClarkandDixie you can get two 10 series 1 chamber flows on ebay for 50 bucks, thats where i got mine.

  • Hey it's Chong behing the camera.hahah

  • @andrew9454 hahaha yep, thats my uncle, i never noticed it before until i posted this on you tube.....and i love the cheech and chong movies haha

  • @andrew9454 Fk sake man, that's what I was going to say!

  • @andrew9454 THATS WHAT I THOUGHT!!!!!!

  • where did u get ur tailpies

  • whred u get ur tailpipes?

  • whered u get ur tailpipes?

  • At 0:20 it sounds like Tommy Chong behind the camera.

  • stock cats? it sounds great

  • if you dont mind me askin bou how much did this cost.......

  • @Stantonusmc If you have a truck like this, it will prob cost $200-$250 for pipng and labor+ the two 10 series muflers which are $100 a piece new. So you're looking between $400- $500 give or take. Note that i had the true dual 40 series on a 95' siverado. I got two magnaflow cats, two 40 series flowmasters, piping, tips, and labor. That was around $650.

  • @JesseBoom700 thanks alot and i have a 2008 silvy

  • Opinion wise wut would sound sick on a 4.3l v6 s10

  • Sounds wicked. Did you get a different truck? Thought you had a blue one with dual original 40s

  • thanks! Its the same truck from my other video.

  • @JesseBoom700 Oh ok. I looked back and I thought originally it was all blue. I still remember your vids from 2yrs ago haha.

  • damn i miss my Z71. duel single chambers. nothing else like it

  • The camamra guy is great, reminds me of leo from that 70's show!

  • is your video camera guy for hire?

  • haha nope, thats my uncle. He was gettng a kick out of it

  • Hey, Just got the true dual 10-series exhaust with race cats done on my suburban. Check it out

  • alright thanks man

  • they have big and small mufflers in the 10 series.. which do you have?

  • the small ones

  • i cant find 10 series anywhere. this is the delta force 10 series right?

  • yeah, i'm pretty sure these are delta force. I think thats the only type 10 seires come in.

  • Flowmaster has a 10 series, I have them, if you'll go to there site you can find them, it says its a racing muffler, it basically says its used only when open headers aren't aloud..lol.

  • Looking to put same exhaust on my 02 suburban, can you do the drive by and take-off vids? Thanks

  • I'll put a video up of a drive by, pull out, and so as soon as i can.

  • you need some videos of the drive bys and take offs, that sounds fucking way nice. single chamber mufflers make a v8 sound perfect. 5star for sound perfection! haha

  • your uncle sounds like tommy chong!!

  • Do the drive by vid, sounds even better under load...

  • that is exactly what i am looking for, thanks for posting this video and i hope you do make a drive by video soon.

  • wow, that does sound even better than the 40's, i didnt think anything could sound better than them lol

  • thanks, its alot louder, deeper, and sharper in person. Its a huge difference from the 40s i had on! You can really hear it off the building! I need to take a take off and drive by video next

  • @JesseBoom700 its sounds really good in a tunnel haha

  • you think true duall 18" glasspacks would sound deeper r louder when they r brocken in on a 06 silverado 5.3 z71?

  • haha thanks. Um not sure. If you get glasspacks, get the shortest ones, and turn them around. I heard they have little edges inside that catch the exhaust flow and baffles it, but when you turn them around it flows right over them like a straight pipe. But thats just what i heard so i don't know. Not sure how loud true dual glass packs are in person, so i can't really compare

  • i want it deep though. lol i thought about doin the 12" instead of the 18 but idk yet.

  • sounds pretty good, no sneakin around in that thing haha. im doin my true duals with the 40 series on monday
