Since a couple of years ago a demo version of this song by PSB had widely circulated trough bootlegs, that version is vocally performed by Neil Tennant and include a nice sample fron Tarantino's Jackie Brown.

I realized that I had to listen through the whole track once, before I actually started to like it. Now I actually start to like it, though I like the PSB demo also, a bit different, doesn't have to better for that ofc, but equal. I like the work they do, mainly cause I'm a huge PSB fan, but WEG make good records. It's good to see you back after a long time! Keep up the good spirit now!

Just to clarify, I don't disagree with you, Pet Shop Boys are my favourite act ever! BUT I do think they never really managed to reach the heights of their early albums. That's not to say they haven't had good or even great moments since. And yes they wrote this song, but have you heard the original demo version? It's totally mediocre. What makes this (West End Girls') version great is the production.
