No, he had the look and a very talent acting skill. If you are impressed by people fighting on the street then, you never fought before in your life. Street people are ordinary people just like anyone else. They had no experience in an actual fight besides intimidating people with their mean attitude. Fighting an experienced professional fighter on a street, means Bruce Lee will be knocked out. Bruce fought with his own peers during teenage age did not mean he was a true.

No if he fought someone who did not have any basic knowledge of how to throw a proper punch. If you have background and if you have ever participate in any fighting tournament, you would know many of his moves in the movies were usless.

He was a dedicated practictioner. People in his generation got intimidated easily. All you had to do was to show your fancy high kicks then they were scare already. People in our generation will take you down quickly if you started off with high kick. A fight is give and take. Whatever you throw, your opponent will be throwing at you at the same time. If you throw the cross, he might meet you with knee in your tummy.

Please don't take that nonsense statement Bruce fought Chuck Norris and beat him. They were best friend and Chuck was a true fighter by facing his opponent on the ring aside from acting in the front of camera. So I respect Norris more when it comes to a real fight and I respect Bruce as a great man with broad vision when it comes to practicing Martial Arts. I remeber he mocked that fly chasing kung fu from Shao Lim style. It is classical but who would fight you like that.
