  • Hi, what is the difference between UMX61 and UMX610?

  • @TutenWPS I need a specification, not an information that one is older than another.

  • by the way, great voice mic! can u give me the model? thanks!

  • hi, great demo. I have a macbookpro i5 with its onboard sound card and logic pro 9... will have latency problems, or do I need something else to have good sounds to play? (ie. sound libraries or other soft?

    thanks!

  • The UMX has transpose in real time?

  • The UMX has transpose in real time?

  • Does anybody here owns this Behringer UMX-610 and works with Magix Music Maker?

I wanted to buy this MIDI controller but when I tried using it with Magix Music Maker it doesn't go really well, the sound buffers (sound latency)...I already tried changing the buffer settings but still no good. Does anyone have any clue to this? Thanks

  • @jovianoelan That problem must be because of your sound card. Try downloading Asio4All and configuring it at MMM as your audio device.

  • This midi keyboard is great! Possibly the best in it's price range. :)

  • Is there any way to assign the buttons to change the MIDI channel?

I recently bought one of these controllers. I want to use it for playing live in a band, so i need to use several VSTis. Normally I assign each plugin to a midi channel, but I need to press a combination of buttons that makes it impossible to do so while playing

  • welches programm benutzt du da?

  • Als ich das T-Shirt gesehen habe, musste ich kotzen.

  • waiting for one of these myself, and as for the comment about changing from FL Studio to Cubase, all I can say is FL Studio 10 is wayyy easier to for use for us old-school Fruity Loopers.

  • I dont know how to use the knobs in fl studio that would help me with my sampling

  • Mine won´t make a sound ._.

  • @icantbeleaveitsanufo It's a MIDI-keyboard, no sounds.

  • Ist bei dem Masterkeyboard ein USB Kabel dabei , sodass man gleich loslegen kann? oder muss man da noch etwas zu bestellen um es mit dem MAC zu verbinden ?

  • Does anyone know if there are any requirements for the computer you want to use?

  • just got this for 88 bucks......is that a good deal??

  • @thekid22585 O_o ... i got new one for ~$260.

  • @thekid22585

Great deal (: - Where i come from we pay have to pay taxes for every purchase we buy, so it was 150 dollars for mine (aproximately) (:

  • @TheGuitaRNovice awesome

yea i got mine off of ebay for new at the last minute i put in a bid with like 15 seconds left and won it!!

  • How would you assign a speed knob for LFO to Rotary 1 on the keyboard in FL studio???

  • @Myztree777 I just ordered it, and i have fl studio .. same question :)

  • @Myztree777 Replace FL studio with Cubase or Logic if on a mac.

Thrust me - Much more you can do, and it is simpler to make more professional projects.

  • I use this keyboard with Logic Pro and it works very well. Minimal latency. What's great about Logic is the many effects that can be applied to this keyboard, Steinway, Bosendorfer, and Yamaha Grand Piano replications. I also use it for some percussion, bass guitar, electric piano, organ, etc.

  • @bradstorrs thanks for commenting - i am thinking of buying it

  • does this work well with protools? think i heard that it dont work with xpand2 or something?

  • Peut on utiliser ce clavier avec FL STUDIO 9 et Windows 7 ?

  • What is the difference between UMX250 and UMA25s?

  • An excellent keyboard midi controller and very cheap! IMO it has a very nice key response, not hard nor soft, way better than the M-audio Radium49 that i also own. I use it with a hardware midi module synth and it works great. It was easy to map the wheels and knobs to my synth parameters. One of its features that i love the most is that it can run on 3 AA bateries so you don't need an AC adapter when using it without a PC. The UCA222 usb interface is very useful if you dont have a better one!!!

  • Does this keyboard work as a standalone 'normal' keyboard as well? without interferance of a PC/MAC or audio interface or whatever...

  • i like this presentation, can it work with pro tool software and logic tool and cubase

  • ....so uhm... what about the sound quality .. is it good?

  • @TekLex It's a MIDI controller, I don't think it's got any sounds built in

  • Hey,I've bought this controller and I have a problem,I can configurate everything except the fader.I 've tried with lots of softwares but no one recognize the fader(or his channel 7).Is it a problem of the controller or the compatibility with the hardware or the fader needs a particular configuration different from the knobs?

  • that workstation is the Fame W-201 Studio Workstation, right ?

  • Serious? did anyone hear what he said his name was?

  • @AlpineViking91 He said " I'm Francophone slash music in Frankford "

  • @AlpineViking91 I'm pretty sure I heard what you heard...and it wasn't Francophone. LOL

  • Woah nice.

Anyone knows if it can be used with iPad?

  • I have got this controller .

    Amazing.

    Great keys feeling

  • @DuckOnTrack hi man, i have this controller but i dont know how to make work the button (rotary and the others) or make work the assign button with the keys, do you know about a software or some configuration to make this things work? help! thank you :)

  • Que tal amigos esta de poka madres

    verdad wawwawa Quiero unoooooo.

  • im planning to use this keyboard with reason5. how would be the latency?

  • @kasunirantha this controller have a little usb interface in the pack, yo have to assign this interface (UCA 222) in the audio settings in reason, actually i use this controller with reason 5 and i have 0 latency using the interface...........sorry about my english xD

  • how do i transpose it

  • Mines wont work !

  • i am looking to get my first Midi controller keyboard and i came across this one on a website for a good price it seems good but i dont know if i should get it or not im not looking to spend tooooo much but does anybody recommend getting this for there first MIDI KEYBOARD CONTROLLER i have LOGIC PRO 9. thankss

  • Behringer U-Control UMA or U-Control UMX?

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • someone please answer this question even if its stupid: can this be used for live play?

  • @bassist99909 as far as i know, yes you can use it for live play but it needs to be connected to a laptop and should have a music production software installed with plugin-ins of the sounds you want to use.

  • @bassist99909 As it is a "controller only" keyboard, it doesn;t make any sounds in itself, though yes it can be used in a live situation, but only if you have your laptop with you with the appropriate software synths on it to "make the sounds" that are to BE controlled. Hope that's clear enough.

  • frankfurt!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Difference with UMX61?

  • This guy makes great informative vids, love the accent :D

  • This is Acoustica Mixcraft

  • what software did you use again??

  • mine is silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how do I connect this to an amp?

  • Everybody, it's a fucking MIDI controller. That means there are absolutely NO sounds this device can output. This device outputs DATA TO COMPUTER. When you press a key, data goes to computer, if you press a button, means you're probably gonna switch patchs or sth. It's not a SYNTHESIZER.

  • @zannnG why the swearing? :) I'm sure someone told you that once.

  • what do you need the audio interface for? And how to plug it in? I don't get it..

  • @LisaLarssonMusic The audio interface is to record audio inputs like Mics or guitars..or aliens killing each other and sending you the line in. If you've tried this before, recording something directly through the computers inputs will not give you a very high quality track, and if you do play live, the will be latency (A delay before you hear what you play through your speakers). An audio interface usually solves all that. Cheers

  • can i play this through a power cable without a computer plugged in?

  • how is that instrument any different than the umx61 .. except the fact that this one is colored red and the umx61 is silver ??

  • Is it possible to connect the controller

with fl studio 9 xxl producer version?

  • @lennanbleeker Yes it is! It's very easy!

  • is it a must to connect it with a PC ?

  • @Qahoa Yes, it's MIDI input only; there aren't any preloaded sounds

  • thank you merry much

  • My Poties : D

  • No transport controls? This is the deal breaker for me

  • @Brian27R Im new to this stuff so please excuse my ignorance. What are transport controls? Im getting something like this soon so it would be great to know what this controller is missing that another might have.

  • can you use a sustain pedal on this?

  • @Roploop yup. i wish ir had an expression pedal port too

  • I ordered this and look forward to using it! Thanks for the video so I know what I will be getting!

  • does anyone knows the dimensions of "Behringer U-Control UMX-610" ?????

cause i want to buy a bag for it.....

  • can i record the sound into " adobe audition1.5(3.0) "?

  • is it fully compatible with ableton live and fruity loops as it is with cubase?

  • @Jumpfruit What's a tonemodul? Is there a jack for the Behringer U-Countrol UMX-610 to connect it to speakers? I'm sorry for the questions.

  • Hello! I'm not really knowledgeable about keyboards. Can i use this keyboard and plug it into an amplifier for it to work? Thank You.

  • Will SONAR work with the Behringer UMX610 61? Thanks for any help.

  • can i use this midi controller on fruity loops 9 and windows 7?

  • @oprisraduro91 thats what i want to know, that was why i was getting it

  • @oprisraduro91 yes. you can.

  • @oprisraduro91 yup its a midi controller just by pluging in the midi keyboard and sdjust settings in fl studio there!

  • @oprisraduro91 Yes it can.

  • @oprisraduro91 yes u can ;)

  • i got a mac book pro...can i use this master keyboard with the garageband???

  • gibtz die review auch auf deutsch? =P kann zwar eng aber^^ deutsch wär schöner =P

  • Can you use this Keyboard with software like Native - Instruments? B4 II Organ? Will it sound any good?

  • @nhlpens the sound doensnt depend on the keyboard at ALL nhlpens, well unless you count the sensitivity..I'm playing B4 organ on a cheap 15yr old roland keyboard and it would sound the same with a brand new keyboard

  • For this shirt, you die in your sleep!

  • Thank you, Boris Becker. I knew you played tennis and poker, but I didn't know you reviewed musical instruments as well. If I ever go to Germany, I will buy from no one else but you.

  • Did he say FOCKER???? lmao

  • @frimpit No .. Volker not FOCKER ;)

  • this also works with ableton i guess?

  • i want to buy one today..but i want to know if it has an transpose option..

  • Would anyone recommend this keyboard? Also can you connect a talbox to this keyboard?

  • Is this a good synth for a gig?

Does it have sounds build in yet or..?

  • @thedoge4 This is a MIDI-controller. So it`s have not a build sounds. But a box with this one include a CD with different VSTi- soft. Well, you get a high performance workstation, I mean.

  • cubase for the win

  • I want to buy one of that soon... But I'm concerned about the latency... Does anybody knows a cheap solution? I will use the controller connected in a last-generation Vaio laptop, but i'm not shure about the latency... My Juno-G, when connected on my laptop, sounds late... Can anybody help me?

    Hail from BRAZIL!

  • @Orpheusinlove you can install ASIO4ALL or buy an tascam us122 soundcard to minimize the latency, but also a good computer will help out! ;)

    Peace

  • @Mirakle306 Thanks for answering, dude. This solved my problem.

  • @Orpheusinlove NO latency!

    THIS IS MIDI!

  • @Hielkenator 18ms of latency.

    THIS is MIDI.

  • @Orpheusinlove

    Should.nt be,MIDI is'nt sound. It's 1 and 0's

The latency is because your computer or soundcard can't handel it fast enough.

Hell I have this thing and my latency is <3ms.

also my Zoom g9.2tt has an low latency of <1 ms.

Check asio4all install it. then check again. With 18 ms it really anoying to keep time playing music.

  • @Hielkenator Thanks, dude. My latency is now in 16ms... Enough, I think... I just cant feel the delay between key hitting and the sound. I can configure the ASIO driver for a better performance, but i guess it isnt necessary... I fear lose he sample quality...

  • Mientras tengo mi Motif 8 en mantenimiento, el benjamín de la familia, lo suplirá y de paso me divierto trabajando.

  • hey does this work with reason 4 and up?

  • @roberts616

    yes it does:)

  • Hey, i just bought a UMX490 with the UCA soundcard and that, i connected everything from the umx to my laptop, but when i load up energyXT, i'm stuck how to get the sound to come out of the laptop speakers, and i dont know how to find it on there, somebody help please? :S

  • @DeAdLyBeNsOn yeah man, this sound card have external inputs and outputs, you can only connect the UMX490 output to line in on your laptop, or set up the output device in control panel if you can...thats it.

  • @LasloKollar i cant quite figure that out atm :L, but thanks for your help, you seem like you know what to do with all this, could you tell me how to assign the rotary dials and controls? because im on energyxt, when i hold assign i dont know what to do next, if you can help me and i work it ill subscribe to you (:

  • Does the UMX610 operate on Windows 7? I've read reviews that when people connected their UMX610 to the W7 PC, it would not recognize the software.

  • thank you for this english demo!!

  • I just received one of these units .. they are absolutely terrible.. no instructions.. no support..

plus mine had a broken key...I will be returning mine asap

  • @machomouse

Huh, very strange. I have a full box with four manuals (on many langs), official registration in a Tokyo, warranty cards, DVD (drivers, host and VSTsoftware), audio device with asio driver, full color catalog of Behringer products and coupon for NI Core professional sound library =\

  • it´s a cool demo, you are awesome :)

And the controller, i want to buy one :)

  • Very cool controller and nice metallic red color. I bought one this Monday. SUPER! I`m very satisfied =)

    Very thank You, BEHRINGER

  • Has it any set of internal sounds ? or they're all virtual through the software included ?

  • do u need an amp fot that, im an experienced pianist for 11 years now but i dont know much about keyboards

  • @RipcordStudios dont need an amp. you plug it directly to the pc with usb just like any plug and play device. don't need any external power.

  • BEHRINGER is a good brand? I ask because I've read about problems with this controller. I am thinking about buying a Novation Nocturn 49 but I prefer 61 key controller. ..... What should I do? : D

  • @k4mi1o0tr11 Nocturn is very good

  • @k4mi1o0tr11 the Behringer. because mysteryguitarman has also one

  • @k4mi1o0tr11 Behringer is a great brand however some of their products have been plagued with problems. I think this controller is good as an inexpensive 61 key controller but compared to a Yamaha master keyboard it does not feel as heavy duty. It feels like the inexpensive controller that it is. If you need 61 keys and are more into sounds opposed to playing piano chords it works. If you need better action look for a used Novation or Yamaha or Roland. Hope that helps.

  • Hello..... this midi controller works in fl studio ???, please show a tutorial... thansks.....

  • @supermescla any midi device should work just fine with FL, not %100 sure how but thats what google is for... ;D

  • @supermescla Yes it does i have UMX 250..25 keys..smaller but works the same..

  • i just get this midi controller and i cant mapping in ableton live , how i used to do it with anothers controllers, some one is using it with ableton? or know some tutorial to look... thank you

  • Will this keyboard work with Ableton live?

  • @HaruTune: of course it will. welcome to plug n play world. ;)

  • Thank you so much for this video, just what I was looking for. Do you think the 61 key is better than the 49 [ this will be my first MIDI keyboard]?

  • @M1F2R3 it's really all about space - if you have room for a 61note keyboard (5 octave - around 3 less that a piano) then go with 61. If you need something a little less space demanding, get the 49 key (4 octave). To be honest - I would go for bigger, as when your playing skill expands you might find 4 octave a bit limiting.... I'm going for the 61 when I can stretch to it.

  • @scopeophile Thank you for the advice, I will go for a 49 as it will be my first keyboard, I will upgrade in a few years.

  • you speek better english than some people I KNOW !!!! and I am english and they are too :)
