  • But I thought Brett was homeschooled!?!

  • Why would Narcolepsy be included in a Psych. class? It is a biological phemenom. Someone should reread their textbook!

  • Because it could be related to the central nervous system according to the two Psychology classes that I took. It was discussed in both classes, High School and College. Granted scientists do not know the exact cause. It also seems to me that Psych. has a lot to do with Biology.

  • It is an interesting biological phenomenon where the brain stops producing hypocretin, thus causing irregulation in sleep cycles and the many other symptoms associated with narcolepsy. It also is considered a psychological disease because of the profound effect it has on the psyche. Imagine going for several years off of just 2-3 hours a night, and that is what a narcoleptic always feels. The sleep paralysis, hallucinations and cataplexy also have a profound psychological effect as well.

  • WTF!!! thats so ridiculously random
