@rdhinakar Yep. Not many know about this (Standard 2000) car! As a kid I used to love the look of this car.

I think the main reason for the failure of this awesome car was the very poor F/E. I remember someone joking that if you fill up the petrol tank, by the time you reach home from the bunk, the tank will be empty :P

Ahhhh !!!! 90's songs, actors, acting and movies were so cool. In this song one can see Standard 2000 car factory. Long before Hyundai, GM, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford ...etc., came to India it was this car "the biggest car" Standard 2000 which was dominating on the Indian Roads as a Luxury Car and say what it had the typical look of an American Car famous for giving less mileage per KM i.e 7-9 kmpl .... hahaha those were the good cool ole days.

the technique used by kamal of standing in one place and changing the environment or place is wonderfull ,coz back in those days it was something very unusual from the usual films. certainly hats off to kamal for his amazing creativity and talent. his movies are always futuristic to the present. its sad though that his talent is not understood by the indian moviegooers. :p
