My favorite dance on "Dancing with the Stars" ever! My favorite couple ever! My favorite season ever! This was absolutely wonderful not just because the dance, music, choreography, and chemistry were all perfect, but also because Gilles and Cheryl's Argentine tango was the template and standard for the other tangos (including the wardrobes) on the show thereafter. If the rumba is the essence of lovemaking on the dance floor, then the Argentine tango is the essence of foreplay on the dance floor.

Yes, there have been many terrific DWTS Argentine tangos: Lil Kim & Derek, Mya & Max, Melissa and Tony, etc. But there was something about this one. I think a lot of it, for me at least, was the music itself (LOVE the Assassin's Tango!) and the musicality of the performance. I believe that Chelsea and Mark from the last season made an error in using the same music, and maybe an even greater error in not watching this tango first so that Chelsea could see what a great tango should look like.

In my humble opinion, they were the best and unforgettable dance couple ever in DWTS. This is also my favorite dance ever on DWTS as well their Paso Doble. Just BRAVISIMO!

Chelsea and Mark's (C&M) Argentine Tango was good because they are good dancers, but I agree with other comments that it doesn't compare to Giles & Cheryl's (G&C) version. Everytime I see this, it stirs something in me, where C&M's did not. C&M should have chosen different music. I instantly started comparing C&M's tango to G&C's. It's like when contestants on American Idol sing an extremely POPULAR song by a GREAT artist...if you can't perform it at least at the same level, why even go there?

just watched chelsea and mark's version. Definitely doesn't come close to this tango. The sharpsness, the sinuous lines, the sensuality, the passion don't compare to Gilles and Cheryl. This will most likely remain one of my favorite DWTS dances ever!
