California Legislative Leaders React to Electoral Body Slam

These three missed it.

It's really simple: In the private sector, we have learned to live on less - less pay, less hours and less jobs for our working people along with less business for our self employed. It's time for government to do the same thing! We want to see government layoffs, pay cuts, etc... When the economy shrinks, the government needs to shrink, period!

The legislature is suffering from a serious case of disconnection from their electorate!

At the same time, if you're a Democrat and believe government holds the answers, our state legislators should be looking to Pelosi, Feinstein and Boxer. While New Mexico receives $2.02 in services from the federal government for every $1.00 their citizens pay in taxes, California only receives $0.67 back. Our representatives in Washington are failing! Maybe they should ask Sarah Palin for some help. I understand she's pretty good at bringing money home from Washington to her state.
