@HokiePokie33 VA Tech is a joke. Maybe when your student section is said to be the greatest in the nation I'll believe your statement to have some validity.
@HokiePokie33 Virginia Tech? No, does virginia Tech have an average attendance over 110,000? Was your student section rated the best in the country multiple times? No, and No. That pride belongs to Penn State in Beaver stadium. PENN STATE
@HokiePokie33 been to lane stadium, seen enter sandman, was accepted to the school. Go to penn state, can assure you that zombie nation during a whiteout is by far one of best moments for a fan. the only thing better is prob. a playoff game winning goal in the NHL... went to a couple playoff flyers games and a goal late in the 3rd is the loudest thing i have ever heard. it brings sharp pain to your ears just being there

WOW. YOU HAVE A SUCH A COOL STADIUM! NOT. all you guys got was a first place seat to getting walked on by iowa. 2 years in a row. just checked the rankings, we're 13. you're 15. better luck next year chumps
thanks for the update. Joe Pa getting his 24th career bowl win against an SEC team, thats a pretty good season ending for us. How did your crappy ass season go?
i've never even heard of that statistic, but you really don't make much of an argument seeing how you sucked alabama's ball sack this season. you guys made it a close game; i promise :)
as for the joe pat thing, don't you remember the quote that was all over the news the other week?
" so why have to stayed with penn state all these years?"
"to get paid"
he doesn't give a crap about you guys he's just in it for the money.
@aznbcu2006 I was at Joe Pa's 400th win, he was quoted saying that: "the only reason he is still coaching is because of the people around him" he makes 500k a year, far less than any other coach with over 200 wins or any of the coaches in the top 40 programs in the country. He doesn't do it for the money, but it is still his job and that is why he said it. He is getting paid for it so he is going to be professional, he was offered coaching positions for the Steelers and the Patriots
@naes101010 to correlate the desire "to get paid" with the longest tenure at a D1 football program casts doubt on not only his knowledge of the importance of maintaining a desireable public image and relationship with the media, but negates his precieved loyalty to the penn state football program. you, sir, are blinded by your loyalty. sorry :)
@aznbcu2006 He is 83 years old and (lets be honest) nearing the end of his time. What is the intensive to continue coaching to " get paid" when you won't have the opportunity to spend it? it logically doesn't make any sense. and the fact that he donated millions to add to our library (of his own money). he has his own wing of the library..... so no, i don't think that I am blinded by my own loyalty, or the portrayed public image of a man with more wins than any other d1 college football coach...
Does it really matter where you sit at Beaver Stadium to get a good watching experience? I mean i've been to the games but only in the student section and ALWAYS luckily been 10 - 15 rows from the sideline so...yea idk, ... does it really matter if I were at the higer levels as opposed to the lower?
@baviperbry86 It is all good. I do paternoville etc so I always have good seats but at the Blue White game and before I was a student I sat all over the stadium and it was never a bad seat imo. I'm not one of those people that HAS to be on the 50 or something, though. And really, at least at PSU, it s more about being there and being a part of it then simply getting a great view of every play. But you already know that. :D
uhh boring...come to lane stadum at va tech if you want a real show..

I have season tickets 6 Rows back from the South End Zone and that's good seats. I know people who sit at the top and say it is fine though...
