  • This is a billion dollar voice, how many people the age she was back then, now sang like this. I mean, what happen to the real talent when all you need is a microphone and can have the crowd standing up clapping their hands and dancing. Everything is so over-produced and over synthesized that, its like do you even need a voice anymore?

Loving her short hair - SO STYLISH!!

Had my hair like this in the 90's

  • @gahan101 oh cool it dont look like 94 tho it looks like 90 but ah i miss msuic from this time so i put in on my ipod so i can enjoy cuz music nowadays bores me

  • @MrJpswagz

    1992 mate.

As I always say Golden Age of RNB was 1991-1995.

This song was released during that amazing period.

  • great song

  • CLASSIC TONI BRAXTON! LUV THIS SONG!

  • When I first saw this video I ran to the hair dresser and got all my hair cut off.

  • That great bass line, the piano, excellent vocals... A mood song that reminds me of exactly the time it came out because it is so uniquely memorable

  • i am addicted to this song lmao

  • YES!! this woman is full of CLASSICs

i feel for all the children growing up in 00s

they dont have music like us 90s babies do.

    TRUE STORY!!

  • @Kapakorn23 Amen to that. Finished the decade(90s) at a mere 9 years old. I actually only remember half of the songs released as singles from her debut or preceded it(1992-1994). It's the Secrets' singles that I all know by memory and by heart from childhood, not by looking them up in the last few years.

  • @Kapakorn23, so true!! I agree with you 100%

  • @Kapakorn23 ur right, they've got bieber to look forward to, and lets not forget a few others...miley cyrus and the jonas brothers!

  • @Kapakorn23 how old r u

  • @CB37B what is this relevant to? LOL haha

  • @Kapakorn23 non

  • this song hit it right on the spot

  • This my one of my fav.

  • cuz if you aint with it, you without

  • Yo...Toni made having short hair sexy!

  • BOOMERANG

  • Man back then i had the biggest crush on toni

  • Best decade ever for R&B music....long live the 90s

  • I love this song- Love shoulda brought your ass home.

  • @mzsandy1023 LMAO! SAY THAT!

  • I even cut my hair like hers back in the days.... no one compares these days... love u toni

  • Thanks for posting the video....the 90's was a great era and thats the truth.....

  • LOVE shoulda brought ur ass home last nite! smh, sing it toni, they think they know, but they dnt really know what love it. Let em know!

  • The 90s were the best!!!!

  • These type of songs brainwashed black women against black men.

  • I love this song sooo much.

  • Nostalgie

  • i agree they dont but toni sung the shit out this song

  • I remember when I first saw this video, I went to the hair dresser and got my hair cut just like hers.

  • im 22 years old and i still and will always listen to this 90s era of music.

  • @4everKryptonian HELL YEAH!!...I'm 26 and 90's music is my ONLY refuge!!

  • @tamakizboi I even workout to this kind of music. This era of music never gets old.

  • @tamakizboi hey hey u whats up lol tony from canada

  • Instead of leaving with some from the club, Love shoulda took your ass home to your lady and got it on with her.

  • Oh yeah this Song is a Classic and i's still Good. Thanks! Blessings, ~Andree'

  • I remeber when she came on the seam with her hair do . Women was getting that do . It was hot on her

  • song reminds me of boomerang.

  • @lovemyselfforever86 yeah it was made for the movie Boomerang

  • i didn't come home 2 nights before because i was fucked up that night...i invited you to come and you said you didn't know nobody there, so don't make me out the bad guy just because you smell perfume on me and glitter. my playa days over and my heart been yours from jump. if you love me then you'll trust me

    for rochelle

  • Toni Braxton= DIVA!! But this song is THE truth! and it can apply for men and women. Hell, love shouldve brought u home..plain and simple

  • Song is stuck in my head oh man one of the best

  • It is so ironic or funny how some guys act like they are the man and tell you they do not need you however in a few months they are on your door steps begging you to take them back . Like Mariah says,"When I break I break " Men I am not male bashing I just want you to be the truth the guardian, the wise men you are capable of being . Men are most powerful when they are fearless, do not be afraid to expose your true feelings to a woman!

  • This is my favorite Toni Braxton song!!!!

  • i love this song

  • i luv both toni n anita but ummm m sure i wuld have liked this more if ms. baker did it....

  • I really like this song. It's still great after all these years.

  • This song never gets old.

  • @EbbyRo I agree 100%.

  • i love this song !!!!

  • sooo true

  • this is my song!!!! I FELT THIS WAY MANY TIMES!!!

  • my jam

  • this is my jam

  • To Blacksandsja

Is this not an appropriate song or not?

    See where your at now?

  • wow! this def was my ish!

  • I could so hear anita baker singing this!

  • Actually Anita was going to record it but she was pregnant at the time and suggested to the producers to get Toni to sing it.

  • who do you think would have sang it better?

  • I like both singers but I think Toni did this song the best way it could be done. Because Anita never sung it, it's kind of hard to say whether she would have sung it better.

  • @monuine That was in May 1992, about 2 months before the film's release. Anita had so many recent miscarriages, that she didn't even want to sing on her third pregnancy. Glad she gave it to her, as she helped further Toni's career and saved her baby boy's life at the same time.

  • i always liked Toni's Braxton...her voice is so sexy and soulfoul and soothing..... it didn't hurt she's a beautiful sister. either......she was like the Beyonce of her day only with better music imo..

  • black don't crack! lol!

  • LOVE IT!!! Love some Toni Braxton!!! Best artist ever! Sexy smooth voice! She is the best best BEST!

  • amoo d + essa musica *-*

  • love you Toni ♥

  • This was her jumpoff, joint is hot.

  • i love me some kenny babyface edmonds productions

  • This is back when the soundtrack actually had something to do with the movie...smh...(lol)

  • @msken118

LOL When was the last time a movie had a soundtrack. I guess things change. That was a 90's thing. It's 2010 now.

  • lol..well...guess you have a point there

  • LOL...I know right!.So True!

  • @msken118 Heck, back when they freaking MADE soundtracks. LOL!

  • I'm just glad they Picked Toni Braxton for the Boomerang Soundtrack & not Eddie Murphy.

  • @FrsBigeasy lmao!

  • Right back at ya.

  • I love this song; one of my favorites from the Boomerang Soundtrack.

  • warming...charming...sweet song.

  • And yes, soundtracks around this time used to be sooooo much better than they are now... I want this one again... and House Party 2 also...

  • How funny that Jamesbarber4 would say that, originally this song was written FOR Anita Baker, but she turned it down.

  • @CaptainAllentown42 Anita had recently found out she was 1 month pregnant and had already had about 2-3 miscarriages in the recent years. She gave it to Toni and thankfully gave birth in 1993. A very selfless on her part for her son and Toni Braxton, unlike some stars who will do anything to increase their fame.

  • @Carmaker1 Wha!? Anita gave her baby to Toni Braxton? COOL! And here I thought that Anita only gave Toni this song.

  • @Carmaker1 so who's this son ?I havent ever heard of this?

  • this is my shit

  • it would be funny if someone knew their bf/gf was creeping and when they came home late at night, they had this song playing on the radio when they walked in..CLASSIC

  • Pure Class. She was like a young Anita Baker in this video. They dont make songs like this no more!

  • they don't!!

  • i love ur voice. sing hunnie

  • The woman doesn't age, Go Toni!!

  • @xiaural2

    thats coz she got balls!

  • I wanna be cussed out like that...lol beautiful

  • boomerang is a classic movie....that whole soundtrack was fire...remember when soundtracks used to be the sh**

  • @ shaunmikex, I heard her loud and clear, I love this song

  • calling all vinyl music enthusiasts bridge to jamaica save the vinyl's bridge to jamaica

  • hell no!!! this song is way off. just watch the video.
