Britain is a tectonically quiescent area, movement along ancient fault lines such as the north sea earthquake of march 08 does occur, but at orders of magnitude so low as to be usually barely noticeable.
I keep feeling minor earth wobbles, and everytime I check the BGS site there is evidence of what I am experiencing so I am not loopy. Guess I'm just more aware now than most people or we are going to have another one.
@studentdebts where do ya live we are due one apparently overdue mate i'm in london the evidence is on the floor mate, land shift is taking place, a top seismologist has said so on the 16th of this month, thats not a prediction mate just the date of the article haha the last one made my house sway and gave me a vomiting feelin and yeah ya right mate this place is getting wobbly!
I'm talking about the Feb 27th earthquake 5.2 in size, 1am in the morning. It was my birthday too!! It was scary but absolutely awesome too !!!
